Bard, this'll sound a little Wheel-ish. Bear with me.))

Aer stared at Tekira for a split second, dumbstruck, then took hold of the craft and lifted it off her. He turned around so that he could hold it up with his back, then held out a hand to Tekira as if he expected her to take his hand. Instead, though, he wove a thread of Air magic in his outstretched hand, willing it over to Tekira. He twisted it into the shape of a harness, threw it about her, and gently pulled her out from under the craft. To the girl, if she had been conscious, she would only have felt a soft breeze, but it had brought her out from underneath the gitacr.

He looked at Wraith and Janika guiltily. "I don't know how to heal," he said in a small voice. "And I can't tell if she's injured..."

Aer frowned at the invisible harness, which he hadn't yet vanished. Sweat began to bead on his forehead as he weaved the threads tighter and tighter until the Air made a veritable sheet under Tekira, though she never moved until he raised a wavering hand and she levitated off of the ground, though she shook a bit. Glancing to the hatch, he looked at Wraith with a strained face. Weaving--and holding--the threads had exhausted him, and he could barely hold her up, but it was his fault, and he'd be damned if he'd let anyone else take her. "In there?" he managed.

"It was my own stupid mistake," Aer said a bit harshly, but the harshness was directed at himself rather than Tekira. His arm wavered slightly, and he moved his other arm over to support the weight of the magic construct. He considered stepping out from under the gitacr but decided not to; even though the weight of it was draining him physically, it was actually giving him very good leverage to hold Tekira up.

((Tired of waiting for Bard...))

Taking Wraith's earlier invitation as good enough, Aer let the craft down and brought Tekira, attempting to keep her steady, towards and into Wraith's ship. Something about the ship bothered him, just like something about the man, but he shrugged it off. Tekira's well-being was more important at the moment. He spotted a cot of sorts and walked her over to it, lowering her onto it carefully, and then he let the threads of Air dissipate.

"Rhackam!" he called, not bothering with honorifics. "She's on a cot. Please, if you can help her, hurry up!"

((I got nothing... I can't progress this any further without Janika and Wraith's lack of participation seeming odd...))

Aer schooled himself to a smoother composure, reminding himself that he was not a child.

"The gitacr," he said softly. "I was up on it, and I guess you walked under it, and I brought it down again... I ought to have looked. You have my apologies, and..." Well, why not? He wasn't in a rush to get anywhere. Where he came from, apologies were usually offerred with the penance of service. "...and in penance, I will serve you from this moment forth, in whatever manner you wish, for one full lunar cycle." It was nothing major; back home, he'd seen such penances made for years. Of course, that was usually in apology for a death or other major mistake, but still... A month didn't seem too long.

Tekira stared at Aer for a minute or two, then shook her head. "That isn't necessary." she muttered, embarrassed at the very idea. "Your apology is more than enough for me. It was an accident."
She started a little as Jack rushed in and nearly hurt herself again. "What are those?" she asked suspiciously, eyeing the instruments. "And I don't know where it hurts and where it doesn't, because I haven't tried to move anything yet."
