After going and hiding himself away for a while, checking on the inner workings of the ship, Caspian finally made his way back up onto the deck/
They were nearing their first port of call now, the pirate port of St Jaque, it was a rough place but he knew there would be a few familiar faces ther,e some perhaps too familiar, but regardless it was a necessary stop on their voyage for re-stocking purposes and the chance to steal a little more disposable income!
With his usual slightly loping steps he moved to the front of the ship,. staring off at the dark line on the horizon that he knew they would reach shortly after sun down.. St Jaque.. it was a fun place for the lawless, that was for sure.
At a slight tug on his sleeve Caspian looked down and found himself looking at Zaelia.

Zae looked up at her friend, the one person she'd had to rely on for the longest, he was almost a parent to her these days..
"You saw her, didnt you Cas..?" She asked with a sad little smile,
"I saw her too, but I didnt really think about it till you sounded so upset earlier.. It wasnt Jonik's fault you know.."

The pirate patted the pink girl on top of the head and nodded,
"I know Zae, dont worry, I appologised to him.. I think all is well again.. its just, could her timing really be any worse..? I mean.. The situation I'm in.. its not exactly stable, I dont know where things with Macy are going to end up, what with his fathers rather freaky blood fettish.."

"You did steal his clothing.. even his underwear.."

"I was trying to forget that one Zae.. thanks..."

"Well, its your fault, they do say the lawless catch their comeuppance inthe end.." the pink girl flicked her hair back over her shoulder,
"And you've got a whole crew's worth of come-uppance coming your way Cas.."

The pirate king groand ina distressed manner..
"Dont say things like that Zae.. They have a horrible habbit of coming true when you do..."

There had been stormy clouds over the Port of StJaque when Toby Fitz-Patrick Aureliu had set out in his rather tiny fishing boat. That had been three days ago and the weather had certainly not been on his side. After a few days of trawling the ocean and coming up with barely anything but a few sardines, the storm had caught up with him and the Leaky Loretta had met a rather turbulent end as it capsised beneath the waves.
Now he found himself floating on one of the larger chunks of boat that were dotted around him, with no water, no food and no compass and in fact no way of knowing here the hell he was. If another ship didn't find him soon, he was going to be shark food.

Raguel heard the call of "Man Over Board." At first he thought maybe Bayne had taken a spill with his jumpy nature but the sight of the guy in the boat made it a bit more obvious it wasn't him. He got the crew to lower a boat with himself and three other men. Two were at the oars while the other had a blanket and a bit of water incase the man was dehydrated. "Ahoy there, catch." He tossed a rope to the man to help pull him towards the boat without capsizing the bit the elf still clung too. "Not the best of sailing material you got there, boy." The salty pirate smirked at elf.

Caspian turned at the commotion down the side of the ship, and pushedh imself away from the the rail he had been leaning on to go and investigate alittle, what on earth was happening here...?
He gave Zaelia a wary look, but the pink girl didnt seem very interested at all in what was happening.
From what he could tell, somone had taken a swim and he couldnt shake the feeling that it was going to one of his own crew.. though they were usually more careful than this.. and saying that, there appeared to be some wreckage out there.. that was promising.. a mean thought, but he'd rather his own men wern't soggy and cold..
Apprehensivly, Zaelia's annoying prophetic warning ringing in his ears, he stepped up to his Navigater, whom he gave a bewildered look to, having not seen the man above deck all week, and then, deciding he'd talk to him later, he turned his attention back to the Bo'sun in the boat.

Toby smiled. "Thank you, Raguel. Without you, I would have surely died. My name is Toby, Toby Fitz-Patrick..."

A broad grin suddenly spread across Toby's face and the young elf practically jumped on the ship's Captain, catching him in a bone-crushing embrace.
"Daddy!" he shouted excitedly. "I didn't know this was your ship. I can't believe you're back!" he hadn't seen his father in about seven years, the last time the ship had made port in St Jaque.

"The Devil bird summoned my Son..." The captain muttered darkly, under his breath as he was nearly throttled by his deceptively strong offspring.. This was just not going to be his tad, that was evident, and suddenl he found himself very much not wanting to pull into port at St Jaque.. what else could go wrong..? Well really, the possibilities were endless..
"Toby, Toby Please!" the Pirate king said in a slightly strained voice,
"I'm terribly sorry I've not been back to visit for a little while, I'm sure you'rew mother has been quite unbearable, and no.. before you even ask you can't be a pirate.." he shook his head.
"Raguel, I'm afriad its going to have to wait a moment unless it can be said now, because As you've probably noticeed I've now got a little problem to deal with.." He shook his head at Toby..
"While you're here lad, just please.. dont touch anything.."

Toby was a little confused by the whole situation, but still kept a firm hold on his father. He was seven years behind on his hug agenda after all.
"Father? Who's the angry looking horny horse man?" he said, looking a bit worried. He'd never seen anything like that before. Where came from there were only elves and the occational Seelie. Nothing that had a horn in the middle of its forehead. "Is he treasure?"
