The air itself seemed to part somewhat behind Ksi as half of Victor's face became visible, something was wrapped around him and hiding all traces of his prescense from the Esper. He grinned viciously. Parts of his face were charred from the holy energy. He extended a right hand slowly, the nails turning black and extending as he was moving slow enough to prevent his energy from being detected. Plus there was no scent or sound to his movements as he suddenly lunged to try and stab Ksi through the shoulder with all 5 claws. Even as whatever was hiding him 'unwrapped' to show a large pair of leathery bat-like wings. His coat was missing.
(3rd seal next level unlocked)
It seemed his coat had been his wings wrapped around him in a transformed state all along. The claws were coated with a deadly vampiric poison that would slowly suck away at Ksi's energy if he was hit with them.

Unfortunately, the one thing Victor wasn’t able to mask, was the fact that Ksi was about to be in danger, and that’s something that the esper -could- sense. It definitely helped that he had taken the time to be extra cautious of the vampire trying to sneak up on him. Right before the count can dig his claws in, Ksi spins around and strikes at Victor’s attacking arm, as if to cut it off. He then glides back quick with a precarious look on his face.
“Whoa! Creepy b*****d…”

Well, as Mr 'Psychic's sword came around his arm retracted, the blade instead slicing through the claws, which shot at the backing away Ksi like a group of bullets, seeking to dig into his flesh and start spreading the poison through his body as Victor's claws retracted and turned back to normal.
"Well now, you don't seem to like people behind you....eh?"
He tilted his head to one side as his wings closed around him again, causing him to vanish from Ksi's senses once more.

The claw tips slam into Ksi’s chest and he coughs up blood, before falling from the sky. He then slams into the ground below, causing a large explosion of dirt. By the time the dust clears, he’s already stood back up, however. Ksi tenses his body, and an etherical aura flares of him.
“Yaaaaa!”
He then becomes enveloped in a column of light, which shoots upward into the sky. He begins to lift upward slowly, and the claw tips are pushed out of his body, his flesh mending where the four small holes in his chest had been. He begins to rotate as his upward climb within the pillar of light increases. He feet cross, and he stretches out his arms in an angelic pose. Once he’s rather high up, there is an explosion of blinding light. As the light begins to slowly fade, it looks as if there is a twinkling star of white light where he had been. Then, when the last of the light finally fades, Ksi looks as if he’s been made anew. Not only has his overall speed and power increased yet again, but now a pair of angelic wings stretch out from his back.

Ksi glides down slowly and lands on the ground. After waiting for a bit in silence, his wings suddenly shattered into holy ether particles. Completely releasing his transformed state now, he reverts back to his base form, the body his was born with and the actual clothes on his back, as a bit of white mist rises off of him and gets caught in the passing breeze, as if it were the essence of his power fading away. He takes a deep breath and stretches, looking upward as he opens his arms, taking in the cool night air and scenery. When he exhales, the ward around the battlefield vanishes, gone in an instant. The wind finally dies down and the esper lowers his arms and head, his black hair falling into place as he looks at the desolate ground. Waving his hand, the grass begins to spring up like a domino-effect, starting from beneath him and quickly spreading outward to restore the field's once beautiful state. With a melancholy smile, he then lays down in the grass, putting his hands behind his head and staring up at the starry heavens above. Casually crossing his feet, he begins to rock his top foot as if tapping it. As he gazes up at the night sky, he begins to reflect on the experience.

Red takes in the rest of the battle in silent thought, reflecting on each of there moves, and the skill in which they exibit them. She hoped she never had to fight either one of them.
Hearing Ksi's voice she sits back and lets out a sigh she didn't even know she was holding. As the other combatant locks eyes with her a kind of blood hunger comes over her, and she licks her lips as if a choice meal was waiting before her. Realizing what was happening she cleared her head and turned away from his seering eyes, but couldn't help to rub her own back later on when he reappeared with giant bat wings.
She sighed with disappointment though as the spar seemed to end abruptly, but she knew nothing lasted forever, so as Ksi transformed into his old self she got up from her spot and walked over to him, first checking to see if the invisible field was now down. Sticking out her hand and feeling nothing she smiled as new grass sprouted where the old had been and sat down next to Ksi.
So who was that?

Ksi begins to setup the training equipment and such as he waits on his pupils to show up.

Red runs up behind Ksi as he sets up the training equipment and stops beside him to help. For a moment she remains quiet, until the words that had been going through her mind blurt forth from her lips

Ksi looks to Red with a perplexed expression.
“Ah, well I’m sure everyone feels that way from time to time.”
He smiles.
“I try to live life to the fullest though. Any particular reason you ask?”

Sitting down upon the grass she looks off to the tavern before finally replying.
It seems that, ever since I came here I realized my life has been missing something, I never knew I didn't have, and I don't know what it is.
Being here makes me so confused sometimes. Which is kind of irritating really.
Snatching up a few blades of grass she throws them into the air and waits to see what Ksi says.

Hm, not sure I can exactly relate to that one, but give it time, I’m sure it’ll come to you. Anyway, you feel like sparing? The more you fight with me, the more you should be able to harmonize in both body, mind, and spirit. I will do my best to help you get there.

She sighed, leaving it at that, and got up from the ground, dusting herself off as she did.
Yeah, maybe it'll come to me.
She did a few stretches, as she got ready to spar.
Sure I'm up for a spar, maybe it'll help clear my mind as well.

*As Synge was out running she came across Ksi and Red. She waves a greeting but doesn't say anything as the two seem about start something. Instead she finds a place to sit in the grass nearby, but not too close, to watch.*
((I've completely forgotten what name you used when introducing yourself to Synge, was it Red or something else... confused ))

Ksi steps out a little further to give them room. Seeing Synge show up, he waves happily to her.
“Hey there! We’re just about to start a spar, but I’d be happy to give you your sword lesson after. For now feel free to watch, stretch a bit perhaps, or even practice what you’ve learned so far if you like. Spike, lead off whenever you’re.”
He stands there casually waiting.
"Oh yeah, I’d better transform, I don’t want you to clobber me, heh."
Ksi shifts into a stance as if he’s ready to draw a sword that he doesn’t appear to have. He growls lowly as power surges through his body, a visible aura of holy ether flaring up around him as he summons forth his powers. The scene shifts into negative colors then as he releases his transformed state, and his visage becomes like that of a silhouette. Everything else around him turns white, so all that can be seen in the field of all surrounding white is his shade. Then the backdrop shifts to black and his silhouette to white. The white and black contrasting colors continue to switch back and forth, the transition speed increasing each time until everything seems to be flashing rapidly between white and black. Then in a flash of light the scene returns to normal, and Ksi stands there completely changed, looking ready to draw his sword at any moment. He then smiles and relaxing a bit, however, he’s still ready to begin the spar anytime.
