Karma looked around the furnish, yet empty room. It wasn't very homey, but then she wasn't sure what homey felt like.
"Ok..." She stepped into the room and sat down on the bed. "And you will visit me...or I can visit you?" She didn't know why she was asking such an odd question. She had just found him and now didn't want to be apart from him.

"Yeah, we can do both actually, I mean it's not like I'm that far away..." Turning, he noticed there was a door in the left wall of the room, so he went over and opened it. He blinked for a few moments. "Well uhm... Looks like we have an easy acess..." He chuckled. "This is my room through here..."

Karma followed him and the smile retouched her lips. "That's so neat! Fate knew this was the right room!" She looked into his room and then look back at hers.
"So, what do you want to do now?" She had accomplished alot in one afternoon. She had found a great friend...well even more than that, a home and her power.

Sol chuckled. "Well, I'm not really sure," He turned and smiled at her, shutting the door to his room, and spying the keyring next to it with another key. "We could do anything I suppose...."

Karma smiled and then returned to her new bed. She bounced up and down on it. "Well, I'm up for anything!" She giggled and bounced a bit more, she had never slept on a bed before. It seemed pretty soft. Softer than the ground, anyway.

Sol chuckled and moved over to the bed, sitting down next to her and looking up at the roof for a moment. "Well... I'm not sure about you, but I could use a bite to eat... Let me go change into some drier clothes, and I'll meet you downstairs in the kitchen?" He turned to her and smiled.

Karma nodded, "That sounds like a good plan." She sat still and smiled over at him. "It's a date!" She reached over and kissed his cheek and then looked around her room. How was she going to fill this empty space?

Sol chuckled and stood. "Gotcha, see you down there in a little bit..." He smiled and walked to the door between their rooms, opening it and closing it behind him, then locking it on his side with the key that had shown up there.
He didn't remember that door being there before... But the HQ did crazy things like that...
Shaking his head, he moved to his wardrobe, and changed into new pants and a new shirt, as well as a new set of boots. He hung his robe and sash up to dry, and then headed out, locking the door to his room behind him, and made his way to the kitchen.

Karma looked around, not having anything left to do...she went off to find the kitchen. Karma locked the door and held the key in her hand. Weird...this feeling of well...having a place to call home.
"Kitchen..." She realized she had no idea where this place was...or what a kitchen even was. She wandered down quite a few halls. "Ok, Fate..." She then trip-stepped and looked up to see a sign that read Kitchen.

Sol was already there, working on something to eat. It was a stir fry affair, some beef and peas in a large wok pan.
Polgara was in the kitchen with her arms crossed, glaring daggers at Sol. "You'd better not make a mess, I just cleaned..."
Sol chuckled. "I'll clean up after myself Pol, why don't you go find a nice book to read or something..."

Karma heard voices inside and slowly walked in. She smelled the food cooking and her stomach growled, she was not used to smelling cooked food. She normally munched on well...fruit.
Karma walked over to Sol and smiled at him and the elder next to him. "What are you cooking? It smells wonderful!" She was really anxious to try this dish.

"Just a beef and pea stir fry, nothing special..." Sol chuckled, flipping the batch in the Wok.
Pol rolled her eyes. "Please make sure he cleans up after himself..." She smiled at Karma, before bowing her head and heading out the door to go to the library, if she thought anything strange about her father interacting with Karma, she made no mention of it.

Karma smiled, "I will. Bye!" She wasn't sure who the other elder was or why she flet so fast, but didn't worry about it. She figured if it mattered it would come to light later.
"It looks good, I've never had food like this before." She then looked around. "I would help you, but I don't know how to cook..this is my first time seeing a kitchen, actually. It's really neat."

Sol chuckled "You'll get used to it... My Duaghter Pol, the one who just jetted out of here, ususally cooks the meals around here, but I figured tonight I'd try my hand at it, make it a real date..."
He waited a few moments before taking the Wok off the heat, and starting to plate. He wasn't great at it, but it worked, and he placed the Wok in the sink to be washed when he was done, then turned off the stove, before taking the plates to the table.

Daughter? He had kids? Well, he was an elder and that did make since. His daughter was an elder! Wow, he must have done alot to make Fate happy.
"I didn't know you have kids. She seemed really nice." That sounded kind of akward, and it didn't mean to. She was kind of curious to the whole issue.
