The only problem with races (sorry to intrude on the dual wielding conversation. sweatdrop ) would be that it would probably take "RuneScape III" in order to run. It would be awesome, but it would be such a massive update. Too massive. NPC's would have to change what they say to different characters, a whole range of new armour would have to come out, and all the coding etc for that would be huge to stop bugs and glitches.

Which doesn't mean I wouldn't love to see it happen. heart
Runescape 3 provably wont ever come out, they're not even done with Runescape 2. xp

Then Jagex couldn't screw over people who lost membership and have to force them to resubscribe if they want their beloved bank space. Know it sounds harsh, but it works. twisted

Guns..
Now thats a thing we've all seen from (generally speaking) lowbies and noobies.
Like Duo said, they dont have to be ak47s and uzi and all that good stuff.
Old time rifle guns, or mini cannons, used round shaped musket balls.
They were inaccurate, slow, and did not travel far.
The other day, i saw an episode of Mythbusters were they tried to shoot a real silver dollar from the western times, using one of those old "cowboy" pistols and bulllets.
All it did was make a little shield out of it.
I got to thinking
"well..i figure mithril and up is much harder than silver..so if we did have guns, rifles, etc, wouldn't it just make a dent in the armour?"
Sure you'd have denty armour, and you'd still get damaged (major paintball brusies), but you wouldn't be crit-ed by a gun, right?
So maybe it could be a possibility?
Maybe not, personally, i think they would have to make HP higher then, but you know Jagex, always thinking outside the box.

Actually Takkun, 3rd age Melee = Silver. If you examine something, like lets say the plate, it say "Fabulously rare armor beaten from magical silver."

Either way, guns would suck. sweatdrop

The one we talked about? Yeah that'd be ******** awesome! Shooting painted frogs from a cannon at people! So ftw! xd

We already have cannons that use gun powder, that's enough things with the word gun in them that I'd want on Runescape. sweatdrop

Do you think one day, Jagex might think of a quest were a boss human has a gun or something?

A dwarf will most likely get a gun. Not because they're short angry drunk people, but they invited the Dwarf Cannon and a bunch of Crossbows, plus, I think they mentioned something about another projectile weapon being worked on. gonk
