((I also want to apologize for the confusion. There were a couple other people participating in this thread at the beginning with their own story lines, but they left. A friend of ours was going along with our storyline, but she left, too. Now it's just three of us, until either of you two jump in, if you want.))

*Maya stared at Spirit for a moment. She was surprised at her determination. It was almost desperation. Of course, this was a desperate time, but in desperate times, Maya did not usually resort to desperate measures. She knew all too well what spur of the moment actions resulted in: bloody defeat. Operations always went better when planned. Now Spirit was suggesting that they try to overpower Aly by themselves, two against nature. Maya almost laughed at the thought. No. If they wanted a victory they would need a plan, and an army would be useful as well. Maybe if they just took some time...Maya looked down in thought. Suddenly, a memory came back to her. It was the time the Dark Clan had completely obliterated another clan. The Water Clan, the ones with the ability to command any form of water to do whatever they wanted. No survivors whatsoever. Maya's Clan were the first to see the ruins of the city, and each individual, including Maya, was so enraged that they all surged right at that moment to the only known passage to the lair of the Dark Clan. This sort of act was unheard of, as it was thought to be the equivalent of traveling to the deepest recesses of hell. It was unspeakably dangerous to fight the Dark Clan on their own turf, when their numbers were at least ten times greater than that of Maya's individual Clan, but Maya's Clan had been driven by something deeper than fear. The Dark Clan would either kill or assimilate everyone in the world. Their world would be a world of cruelty, hatred, sorrow, and pain. It would not be the sometimes harsh, yet still beautiful world full of loving people that Maya's Clan knew. Maya and her Clan were fighting to protect the good, innocent creatures of the world that deserved nothing even close to the kind of treatment that the Dark Clan would give them. They deserved full, happy lives. Maya's Clan was fighting to prevent a holocaust. With those thoughts in their minds and in their hearts, Maya and her Clan swept down into the Dark Land. Maya remembered seeing the Dark Army before them. There had to be hundreds of thousands of them. She remembered looking at the army of her own Clan. They were only one hundred and fifty strong. Still, that had not stopped them for even a fraction of a second. They tore mercilessly through the Dark Army, killing every last one, and not even losing one of their own. Maya remembered her own fights. She lost count of how many of the Dark she had destroyed, but it happened all so easily. She was empowered by her rage and her love for the world in jeopardy, and she fought with all her might. By the time they were finished, there was no doubt that the Dark were all dead. The only reason they still existed was because their leader and two others had not been present at the time of the battle, and they had since began recruiting more, although their current numbers were not nearly as great as they had been before. But still, it had never occurred to Maya how amazing it truly was that a small girl and her small army had defeated and army hundreds of times greater than her own. And all because they were driven by love. Maya quit reminiscing. She looked back up at Spirit. There was her army. It didn't seem like much, but if Spirit was driven by the same thing she was, it would be more than enough. Together, for the greater good, they could take down Aly. And maybe, Maya thought with a glimmer of hope, just maybe, we can save her, too. "Okay, Spirit," Maya said. "I trust you. We can do this. Just tell me when you are ready, and I will send you back."

A girl, looking to be about 16, was standing just out of site. Her blonde, shoulder length hair hair whipped around her face with the wind. Her eyes were a dark, olive green with a hint of blue, all and all a very calming appearence. She was small, only about 5 feet tall, and very pale. She had high cheekbones, and smiled often. Her eyes had a spark of playfulness that made her age difficult to tell. She looked 16 in body, but her eyes both made her look mature beyond her years and as nieve as a small child. She looked the picture of innocence. But, shse wasn't as innocent as she appeared. Nor as unthreatening. She could be very dangerous when she wanted to be. A smile was decorating her lips casually. What on Earth is going on here... She stepped a little closer, no longer in the shadows. She felt her fangs with her tounge and crossed her arms over her chest. Her movements were al cat-like and fluid. Everythng she did was graceful and lithe. Though it might appear more so because she was tiny. Quite often she had been mistaken for an elf. She scoffed, I am definately not an elf.

* Aly heard the silent whisperings of the trees; they were calling to her. Someone is near. Lurking within the forests. She allowed herself a brief hesitation to consider who it might be. For a second, a glimmer of hope shined deep within her battered heart. She could feel the longing of another human’s presence. One that did not know of her terrible actions. One she could talk to and relate to. Another part of her hoped it was Spirit, or Maya, coming to grant her the demise she wished for so feverently. But she knew, that when the time was near, she would feel it. She knew that she would not give in as easily as she hoped. She would unleash the warrior that lied deep in her bloodlines. One that had been hidden her entire life, whispering to her, urging her on, but one she had fought so hard to bury. No, now was the time to finally set her free. Everyone needed freedom in the world, and it was her turn. Aly shook her head, bringing her back to her true task, finding the girl in the forest. It would not be hard. She could drift with the wind, and listen to the clouds. The trees guided her, and told her the way. It was within moments when Aly finally found the girl. She was a petite girl, one who looked to be sixteen. She appeared to be so innocent, loving and carefree. But Aly knew better. She had learned before, and she would learn from her mistakes. She was going to turn her back on the girl, but an idea struck her. What if she were able to befriend the girl? And so, Aly decided to do just that. She masked herself. Her usual tame long brown hair turned to chaos. Her eyes wild with fright. She had beating marks over her body, which would help nicely now. She knew that her appearance would seem innocent, and she was glad. She did not want to harm this girl, but if she had talked to Spirit or Maya, then it would be the end for her. It was time to make an alliance, and she prayed that this was her chance. It would be her only chance. With a deep breath, she appeared behind the girl. And ran through the bushes that separated them, falling to her knees. “Help me,” she croaked. *

She turned to face the girl who had just fallen at her feet. "What is this?" she smiled casually. She looked the girl over. Her hair was in wild dissarray as was most everything about her. She looked injured, but not bad enough to require the help of one such as herself. However, she had a soft spot for humans. "Stand, please. I don't like groveling." She sighed and helped the girl to her feet. She looked her over once more, "Your name, please?"

*Aly felt a smile tugging at her lips. She knew that she needed to proceed with caution else she would be facing yet another enemy. She would need help with her act, and so she brought forth the only memory that would allow her to bring tears to her eyes. She replayed the scene over and over again in her mind, allowing a fresh bout of tears to sting her eyes. Everything was set. Aly backed away cautiously, the tears now overflowing her eyes. “Who are you?” Aly asked warily. “Are you with them?” She wanted to make herself seem small and worthless at the time, like she had done when she first met Spirit. She allowed the girl to aid her to her own feet and then brushed herself off, wincing as she past over an injury that had just happened. “I am Aly.” She said, a little more confident. *

*Spirit felt herself become irritated; she didn’t like standing still when there were things to be done. Plus she had a feeling that if actions were not taken soon then something bad was going to occur. “Alright then, let’s get out of this place and get going,” she said turning to Maya. She wasn’t quite sure how to get back to the real world so she waited for Maya to do what ever she had to do, trying as hard as she could not to yell at her to move faster.*

"I'm Isabella." She looked Aly over again, "And I can tell when people are faking. I'm almost 100 years old; don't lie if you want my help. I don't know who you are talking about. Whoever these people are that you think I'm with, I'm not. I primarily keep to myself." She tossed her hair back and a playful look glinted in her eyes.

*As soon as Spirit gave the word, Maya immediately grabbed her wrist, and brought them both back through to the real world. When they got there, it was strangely calm. Maya wondered if it was just another one of the many weird, yet vivid dreams and hallucinations that she had been having lately. It appeared real enough. She turned to Spirit. "Now what?" Maya asked her.

*Once Spirit was sure her feet were securely on the ground and the world had stopped spinning she let her lungs fill with the fresh air of the forest. It was refreshing and it made her feel safe; to her this place was her home and she hadn’t realized how much she had missed it. After another deep breath of fresh air Spirit focused on what they were planning on doing, she could already tell that something was different. The sky seemed lighter than it had been and she didn’t feel the anger and hatred that had been in the atmosphere before they left. Spirit let her senses become one with the trees that surrounded them; she felt the wind blow through their leaves and the perfection of every creature living within their protection and what she didn’t feel was the small dent of something that shouldn’t be there. “Aly’s not one with nature right now,” Spirit explained to Maya, her eyes still closed. She followed the wind s it blew between the strong trunks of the many trees of the forest, it wasn’t long until the wind whipped around two bodies, one of which she was sure belonged to Aly. The other one was unfamiliar to her; all she could tell was that whoever it was was not human. Spirit opened her eyes and looked at Maya, “She’s not far from here, but she’s not alone…and well…um, there’s something different about the air, can you feel it?” Aly surely had changed her plans of destroying all human kind, or at least for the moment she had. There was no doubt that Aly was planning something else and Spirit didn’t have a clue what that could be. She shook her head, she would just have to go find out what it was, “Alright, follow me and try to be quiet.” With that Spirit started to run in the direction where Aly was, she didn’t run fast, first she wanted to get some clue of what was going on before she went into action.*

* A brief second of surprise covered Aly’s face. It was not just the fact that this girl had found out about her disguise, but the possibility that she was older than anyone could ever think possible. A new thought struck her. With her age, she must have endured many hardships and struggles. But yet, here she was; standing in front of her with no desire to hurt anyone else. Aly sighed. It seemed she was the only one with a vendetta. And with that knowledge, Aly knew that she would most likely be facing three opponents, rather then it being equal. She wondered what would happen if she surrendered, apologized and promised to never lose control again. She would stand by and watch as the parents congratulated their kids for the terrible acts as they beat and tormented others who were different. A new rage surged through her and it took everything within to calm it. “ One hundred? Well, that’s quite awhile.” Aly said quietly, “ I am not lying. There are people that wish to find me and once they do, I fear that it will turn into a fierce battle. It will be two against one, and while I have some power to try and fend for myself, I fear that it is not enough for me to live. And you have not yet stated your name. “ Aly’s blue eyes stared at the girl, while she tried to sooth her hair. She wasn’t sure what would happen next, but she knew that Spirit and Maya were coming. And she did not have much time left to act. *

Bella didn't seem shocked. She was used to the brutality of humans. "I have stated my name." She smirked, "I said it was Isabella. But, I'm called Bella by those who are friendly towards me." She tossed her hair over her shoulder, "Two of them, you say?" she closed her eyes, "Yes. I hear them coming. May I inquire as to why they want you?" Her green eyes had a hint of intrest. Humans were interesting creatures to observe, to say the least.
