sareena superstar I know I'm so sick ; I can't live without maple. I play it 3 hours on schooldays and in weekends 8 ^^. lol same here ^^

I play off and on. It depends on how bored I am. Usually I'm on for about an hour a day maybe.. If my guild has a party planned, there's an event, or a quest I'm excited about finishing I'm usually on longer.
My younger brother just started and has been playing non-stop. He's going to burn out soon and just quit 'cause that's usually how it goes for the grinding type players. He wants in on my guild, but I don't want to introduce him to the leader to find out a week later he now despises the game.

I am a guy.
I quit Maple Story in early January. I enjoyed the game greatly, but it was having a very negative effect on me. I was nervous and depressed, I did not get out much, and I hated my life. I was addicted to Maple. I spent too much money on it. I disconnected the internet for three weeks, gave my stuff away, and stopped. Right now, just two months later, I am successful at my job and life, and I met the girl of my dreams, we are in love, and I am happy.
Maple is a great game, but some people cannot enjoy it in moderation. It has some disturbing and sick people on it, and honestly, colorful characters and high levels do NOT replace the love of family, significant others and friends. I am not saying people should not play Maple, but I think people need to keep it in mind. Not everyone has to choose between life and Maple, but I had to. I am glad I made the choice I did.
