I love VC Andrews books. I'm reading Deliah's Gift right now. I've read all of the series except for Rain's. The books are just addicting. My Fave is My Sweet Audrina, it is one that you have to read a couple times just to make sure you haven't missed anything.

I picked up "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" last week from the library. I had to see what all the fuss was about. Turns out it really is a pretty good read.

I just finished Beat the Reaper by Josh Bazell. Have to say it's in my top 10 fave books of all time list now! I bought it mainly because it was recommended as the lovechild of James Elroy and Dexter. Basic premise, Dr in a hospital comes across a patient who he has to keep alive, because he is a former mob hitman in witness protection and the patient calls a mob friend to tell him if he dies to tell the don where he is. That's just the beginning, the rest follows almost autobiographical in crazy mafia flashbacks, juxtaposed with this one crazy day in the hospital. Lots of laughs, black humour style and one of the sickest scenes I've ever read! 5/5

Btw Camwen I've heard a lot about that series but got put off my one reviewer who mentioned degrading sexual violence against women?

I'm rereading Dead Perfect by Amanda Ashley. First time round, I misplaced my bookmark (bookmark was removed by accident) and I hate folding the pages. Anyway, whenever I get bored, I can always check out the Women's World Magazine especially the recipes...

Currently reading "The Poisoner's Handbook: Murder and the Birth of Forensic Medicine in Jazz Age New York."

I'm thinking of recommending it to my book club - though they might be scared to eat the snacks I provide...

Same here! I can't decide if I want to watch A Game of Thrones first or read the books first.
