Kara nearly squealed clapping her hands, as her grin threatened to split her face open, "They're here? Tea and Tiia said they would be here, but I didn't think so soon," she was pretty much on cloud nine.

She got that way with children, children was what jewels were to some people.

Donovan twitched, there was no doubt about it. Anyone who had known at least a bit about Kara would know what this meant. He had to twitch, it had been how many months since Kali arrived?

"Kara...." he looked at her and rolled his eyes, he should just give up, "Are you trying to raise an army or a family?"

Elnara laughed. "You're all acting as if she adopted all three of them," she grinned. "Don't worry - she only got one. Two are mine."

She reached over and squeezed Lore's hand. "New vases," she explained excitedly. "Would you like to go see?" And she looked over at her mother, silently extending the invitation to include her - and all of the others - as well.

Celebor's eyes grew wide. " 'M I gonna have two more sisters?" he asked, bouncing excitedly on the couch. His eyes were glowing now - he knew what new vases meant.

Serenity looked up at Elnara and spoke for the first time since she had laid eyes on her nako. "New vases just like what we came from?" she asked, her voice so quiet she was nearly inaudible. But she was excited as well, as evidenced by the fact that she was speaking at all.

Kara giggled, "More children," she told Serenity happily, "The Second race are created by the goddesses, Tea and Tiia, but the children need caregivers so they are adopted by people like us," she explained, "So to say we have new vases is a way of saying we're expecting children."

"Oh joy..." Donovan murmured, "More grandchildren, for a moment I thought she went off and adopted triplets."

He looked bored, though slighlty amused at the fact it was Elnara who had the more children part. He wondered what Kara adopted this time? Another angel? A mer? Maybe one of the races he hadn't seen from the Seconds yet.

Elnara looked thoughtful. "Wouldn't that be interesting," she mused, grinning at Lore. "And really, adopting so many isn't a bad thing. I admit, I wouldn't adopt sixteen - at least, not until I had a home of my own ... but ..."

She shrugged, not wanting to say aloud that it may be the only way she could ever have children to call her own.

Then she raised her eyes to meet Lore's once again, and she was grinning and excited once more. "Would you like to go see them?" she asked eagerly; and she rose to her feet, careful not to let Serenity slip, and reached one hand down to Lore.

"Yeah! Yeah!" Celebor grinned eagerly, jumping off the couch and tugging on his nako's hand. "Come on, Nako! Let's go see! I wanna see my new sisters!"

Kara stood up tugging on Donovan's arm, giving him the sweet innocent look that she knew Donovan got annoyed about at times. She was happy to see her latest addition, and she hoped to also have Donovan more say in it. Though he already had a great amount of say in the family.
