"I know of that sort of thing." She went a little quieter again, giving her small smile down to the floor as people actually rarely received it. But every inch of the floor on the space cruisers probably had. "Sure, just ask me such things and I will tkae care of you if you really need me to big baby." Her small smile and small joke again, but she could bear being in metamorphosis to take care of him.
Then something happened, there was a small werrrr noise as the lights went off and the system in their compartment ceased, as well as systems all over the entire station ceased and almost immeditely emergency generators kicked in for life support systems, as well as the red emergency lights turned on and were seen every so often down the corridor.
Gravity however, was not to so emergency in all places... so Rosey began to float up a bit and immediately grabbed Rennells arm in that small affectionate scared way she did.

"Crap." Gravity outside of the main project areas was never considered an emergency function. And so boots left the floor and he gave a sigh. Then he smiled as Rosey grabbed his arm. His other latched around her waist to hold onto her. "It's okay Rose bud, got the MATU in our favor."
And so saying with a mere flex of muscle from Rennell those mechanical wings of his spread and brought themselves to life, little blue flames evident from the jets that were thrown into life by circulating nanomachine filled blood. So thus, the lack of gravity didn't control their movement any longer, Ren did. "Wonder what Innovation did this time to knock out the power..."

She blushed a little at first, then loosened her grip some, but stayed held on. Her feet were off the ground and as usual she fought to keep her sandals on. That took her concentration a moment until finally one slipped off and fell to the ground as she sighed. Oh well. She tired to keep her tail and all of her appendages out of the way of the jets, "Sometimes when they work fine, attachments can be quite great." She flashbacked momentarily to when she had experienced her first power outage on this station and instead of finding it fun to float, she freaked out and her metal blades came out, jabbing those into the wall she was able to anchor herself well enough, but the resulting gashes noticed when the power came back on, only a short minute later, were not well praised. But hey no one had warned her that that happened often enough. "They just overloaded again, as they usually do, trying to much power at once."

Rennell merely flexed his wings, working them really like a common bird would. But he had full range of motion and could angle and individually turn each 'feather' as well. The jet fire was truly no harm though, with the way the jets were sunk in to the metal. A few moments of screwing around with angles until Rennell ended up on his back, with Rosey on top of him.
He gave a motion his wings, propelling them down the hall some. Heck he was going to exercise these things a bit. Looked like he was just floating with gravity backward, except he had the control. Hands behind head again and crossed he smiled at Rosey. "Quite great. I usually don't get to play with these in the halls."
The jets were quiet enough, not loud at all. Maybe Rosey's SHADS would pick it up, and Ren's one eye faintly picked up the waves of sound as well, but thats' it. "I just like how they have to apologize every time."

Roselyn just sort of stayed attached to Rennell, quiet for the most part as he played around some, then somehow she noticed that they were floating through the air and she was on top of him. Nothing else, just her laying on top of him, her hands and fingers splayed on his chest, her eyes wide, until she had to wrap her arms around him so she did not flot away. Her cheeks flushed more and she fidgeted a little. Not like she didn't like it but... she was her. Her voice came out quiet and a little strangled, "Um, yea well if you cut off the power to a place where people live and experimented..." Her fidgeting undid her and she floated to the side some, just as power turned back on, gravity was restored, and she fell to the floor, landing crouched, but not getting up for the blushing.
There was the soft bouncy bing bong noise that preceeded messages from GODD and then it was heard. "Umm, uh yea. Cruiser Innovation apologizes for any inconveniences due to the recent power outages and uh, thanks you for your cooperation in being safe, yea."

He made a grab for Rosey as power sprung back to life, but seemed she landed okay. Yes, Rennell did in fact like to make her blush, she was easy to fluster. But it was all in good fun. His MATU kept him afloat in the hallway though and he crossed his arms. "Wow, that sounded like someone new commanding the GODD. Or they really messed up."
It wasn't even noticed when his MATU shut off and he walked over to Rosey, grasping her by the arm to pull her up to stand where he brushed his thumb over her cheeks and then poked her nose. "You might want to use less blush in the mornings Rose bud." Then one of those Rennell-esk gentle laughs.

Roselyn was still blushing furiously, but she made herself calm and it slowly drained, she accepted the pull up from Rennell and the blush only continued with his laugh, touch, and comment, then she turned away to let it drain again, "I do not use blush. You might want to be good." Of course, he probably knew this, but she enjoyed his laugh anyway, and him in general, only giving him a little glare, not really an angry one exactly either. He was bad...
"Well, somebody probably rally messed up because they sounded flustered." Some cussing was heard in a random nearby room as someone obviously had a not fun landing, but everyone else seemed to be ok, having grabbed onto something, activated boots, whatever they did, and came to the ground well enough.

"Be good? But Rose bud, I am being good. It's when I'm being bad that you have to worry." Another laugh at the cuss from the room a little ways away. "Someone forgot that the power outages don't' last long." Fairly common, once or twice a week occurrences that affected the entire REIII fleet. Nothing new. "And stop that, you're only cuter when you glare."
He laughed once more, flexing out his wings before letting then return to their standby position. His skin looked slightly flushed really from the blood that had been used by his wings redistributing to his body quickly. Then he sobered. "So, can I have my Echo PAID tag back yet?

She knew how he worked, but made her own little comment anyway, "What is wrong Ren? Going all Rosy because this Rosey made a glare you thought was cute." It came out in a voice so quiet it almost did not suit her, but in it's own way it did. "You were being bad, and you know it." Then she sighed and rolled her eyes at him, shaking her head. "And being bad is what got that taken away, oops sorry, it seems that I forgot your tag in my room. So I do not think I can have it right now, as I can not materialize it." That small smile, those few times when she could be snappy and a little in vontol were joyous.

"What can I say, you and your little SHADS are just so darn cute I want to hug on you all day and never let you go." Copyrighted goofy Rennell smiled.He pouted again. "Fine, fine I'm being bad.
A kick at the metal flooring and a scratch at his arm. "I should get used to lazing about Ingenuity anyway if I'm getting this upgrade...I'll be in recovery and testing for days." A groan at that...hated upgrades, but they were as he was getting to know, a necessary evil.

Roselyn had a definate mask, but she really enjoyed his treatment, though teasing was a part of it, it was fine. She twitched those SHADs he was a funny mostly harmless bad. Then she could not help but give him that small reserved smile, a little bit of reassurance, "I will let you back in soon, do not worry about that, but..." She shifted her weight, "So are you going to get the upgrades then?" She would definately visit him, she would hate to be in that situation, and he was her friend, "I will come see you."

"Like you said, better to get the one time fix rather than keep having problems every time I bonk my head." A slight smile. "I'd like that if you did come. I promise I won't annoy you away like I tend to usually do." A motion of his hand to follow her as he proceeded to walk idly down the hall.
Then a more pleasant smile. "Good to know you're not keeping me out forever. Have to admit, the nature aspect because of the Echo environments is quite relaxing. A nice change from all the metal and power and machines." Another chuckle. "Though I suppose we can't escape ourselves now can we?"

Roselyn nodded and grabbed Ren's hand, walking forward some more. "I like the envision cruiser better than the ingenuity one, just because." She did not like people poking at her and she had her choice of cruisers. "So then, let us go make you an appointment for that eye." She smiled and headed off draggin him after her. If she tried to escape herself, she would die, not doubt about that. The extensiveness and manner of the modifications showed that. He could not annoy her away, she might anny him with him stuck in bed, though she would really have her freedom then, she would still come.

Pulled along indeed, of course he whined and groaned about it. But it was as he said before a necessary evil. He wouldn't' like it, especially with all the new software he knew he was going to have to get, and learn. So was the life of one who had gotten involved with the Metamorphosis project.
Now his mind only had one thing to decided after he made his appointment...who he was going to have do it considering the original worker that had installed Ren's first cybernetic eye was now retired. And someone new poking in there was a bit intimidating.

"Incompetant!"
James' metal fist slammed onto the table, leaving a rather large dent, glaring at the various lab technicians of Project Catalyst.
"That is not a damned toy for you to be playing with while I am asleep! what if you'd fried the emergency systems as well? I warned you several times I have upgraded the cannon attachment to the max allowable grade. and then you idiots just go and try to plug it in and fuse it through to give the crusiers a powerboost on a whim?! and while I was asleep no less. I agreed to help you with bioelectrial study, not to be used in an attempt to make my arm into some kind of swissarmy powersource!"
He'd been there awhile, sleeping off and on, while they ran various experiments. but this time they'd shorted, nearly blew out woudl be a better term, all the power to the cruisers. the loss of gravity had woken him, to find cables coming form an extended cannon. the same cables that hung limp off his arm after jerking himself away and tearing the cables apart in the process.
"I should report every one of your foolish, overcofident, incompetant asses to Dr. Trevale and see you sent beck to Earth and this porject closed down permenantly!"
He glared at them all, before shoving the desk back and walking out, nevermind the cables and back to Project Metamorphisis, to have the biotechs see if they'd managed to damage his arm in thier foolish attempt.
