Wow. To answer this one could take years! Or never!!!
Depending on the person, there are ALOT of different answers.
There are people living today who still don't believe we've been to the moon.
There are people whose religion tells them the world is onlt 15 THOUSAND years old, Not millions.
Some people don't like thinking they are related to pond scum.
Some people can't see connections.
One argument is: "If we evolved from monkeys, why do we still have monkeys?" ETC.
No one can explain what goes on in people's minds, since every one is different.
Oh. And another point brought up by non evolutionists: "Missing Link" ....
Anyone else?

Sorry, that makes me laugh. mrgreen @Twilights Lily: Well it's not only Religiously based, but that is the unfortunate trend set...Even though I'm pretty sure the Vatican accepted Evolution a while back ago...oh well. Unfortunately some people just aren't capable of making those connection, they just can't think logically for some reason, and they probaby don't share the same desire we do in this guild, which is wanting to know things and wanting to have things explained. Try as we may, the Ignorant are pretty stubborn.

ok, here's a silly one: once me and my sister were watching tv and we saw a commercial about a device that looks like a pager. that "Thing" showes you what is somebody thinking at the moment you're speaking with him/her...is that even possible? whee

No, it's really not. Or at least not yet, I read something somewhere about being able to read the thoughts of a person based off of neuro-impulses or something. No, the little device thing asks you questions about what it is you're thinking, and based on your responses it gives the best possible answer based off the answers to the questions it asks you. The one you're talking about seems to be a little more advanced than the ones I've played around with before though....or at least, from what I've seen of the commercial.

saphria_eragon What is the formula for surface area of a rectangle? Last I checked, A = w x lOr "Surface Area of a Rectangle is equal to the Width multiplied by the Length."

A: Some have been seen before, but they decomposed so fast they can't too much information about them. Plus, those elements were probably made in a lab somewhere.
Question: I have to do a class in physics on magnetic fields. I am wondering if the following topic would qualify: attracting subatomic particles with a strong magnet. (Thhis was my science fair project.)
