"Thank you," Lady Crystal said before falling quiet again. It dawned on her just how much Richard had done for her so far, and she felt as if she had done nothing to repay his kindness.

Lady Crystal started to say that she was fine, but hesitated and instead said, "I want to do something for you." Softly and catiously she pulled back from Richard so they were still sitting close, but she was no longer leaning on him. "Is there anything I could do for you?"

"Do you really mean that?" Lady Crystal asked uncertainly. Afterall she had been raised in a world of give and take where even the smallest of favors were given with full knowledge that it would be repaid later.

Richard took her hand in his large one, patting it with his other. "It was of no trouble mi'lady. Not at all. And besides...you already are doing something." He said softly, gently lifting her hand to his lips, a soft kiss before he slid from the bed. He had been rude enough by sleeping there. He fixed his tie, which he had loosened sometime during the night, and ran a hand through his hair. With that, he looked perfect again. "Now...we need to journey back I think..." He said, remembering her headache from the night before. It might be the pressure change, but if not, he wanted to be near a hospital. Heaven forbid she need one though.
((Yes he is. I've met alot of crappy guys in my time *feels old all of a sudden* so it's always great to see a nice one. Even a fictional nice one... gonk ))

((Frankly, so am I. But heck, I'm a bit young to care much anyway. Then again...I'm a bit young in general. Besides, I got a cat and a computer, so it works. rofl Hmm...how would Richard react...hmm...)) Richard's eyebrows shot up, surprised as heck. He was returning the kiss without even thinking about it, before his mind could recover from the 'attack'. Will you keep a hold on yourself?! His mind shouted at him, and Richard reopened his eyes, freeing his arms and gently taking hold of Crystal's shoulders and pulling back, holding her at arms length. "Crystal-" He was going rather red in the face, able to feel the blush on his chest and neck. "Crystal..." He couldn't think of anything to say, catching his breath for a moment. It wasn't as if he had disliked that. Oh no, quite the opposite. Richard shook the thought from his head. "We're not wed." He said, frost eyes looking as if he felt guilty. "Forgive me mi'lady, I hadn't-er...I did not mean to place you in such a position without an escort." He said quickly. You'd a thought he had kissed her (*Edits*) against her will. (*Laughs at Richard*)

Lady Crystal blushed as well, she wouldn't be surprised if Richard could hear her heart beating in her chest. Hearing his response she frowned shamefully. "I'm sorry Richard, I ... " she had no idea what to say, and she would probably regret it later, but Lady Crystal paniced and used a old trick with her magic to force herself to pass out, falling towards Richard.
