"Uh... I dunno..." He said with a hesitant look. "Maybe. Like just until I find a job in my area of profession or something." He said moving his hands in a strange way infront of him.
"Why... are you asking me anyway? You hardly know anything about me and your asking if I want a job." he said with a frown.

"So you want me to be your spice or something?" Lex asked with a playful grin. "Your right. I don't intentionally harm people. Unless of coarse it's ABSOLUTELY necessary." He added with a nod, "I might no look it, but for some strange reason I'm a lot stronger than I should be... It's just as strange as my eye colour."
He paused and smiled. "I'm sorry, I forgot. You can't the colour of my eyes tonight because of the contacts." He said with a chuckle. He never really noticed them because he wore them a lot when he was out to avoid stares. At the moment his eyes would appear a brown colour.

Lex blushed when Sky looked into his eyes. Oh that blasted crimson shade! He smiled a little and took a case out of the jacket pocket Sky was wearing. He lowered his head so his hair hung in the way before removing the contacts and placing them in the small case he'd taken out.
When he looked up again his eyes were very much different to any human. His right eye was ice-blue with a vertical slit like a cat's for a pupal. His left eye was a bright vibrant, glowing orange with a circular pupal like your average person's. Even through his half-fringe the strange glow of his left eye could be very clearly seen.

"There's nothing wrong with them... they're just... not normal..." he said a little awkwardly, his blush still present. He slipped the container with the contacts in it into his pocket and glanced up at Lani and Sky.

Lani had been fairly quiet most of the way now, watching the two. That is, until they hit the bump. Out of pure reaction, her palms slammed against the roof and the window, trying not to go flying. "AIE CARAJO," she cursed a bit too loudly, then laughed. The purse in her lap, containing just her orb, had jumped in her lap and landed right back where it was.

She cleared her throat and went back to staring. Then added her words: "Ahh, so I ain't the only one with odd eyes? Never thought of wearing contacts, would have saved me some teasing my whole life. 'Cept the pupils wouldn't have been hidden too well, ey amigos...?" A small smirk, shrugging.

Then she gently elbowed Sky, just a little nudge, "Ey chica? Wanan tell us about whatever you were gonna' talk about back at the ball? I think now's as good a time as any," she said, averting her gaze to Lex, lightly glowing aqua-teals meeting his icey blue and bright orange.

Sky blushed deeper when she was nudged and she scooted back into her seat. She smoothed the skirt out, secretly agreeing with Lani. She was going to feel much better when she was out of the dress.

"About the orbs?" She asked, glancing to Lani. She smiled. "The orbs would be better explained at home..."

"Not mine. But it is the only one I've ridden in without people asking me about my inspirations for my award winning hairstyles." He said gazing out the window.

"That really used to bug me. 'Lex! We must ask how do you come up with these idea's? Who do you get your inspiration off? Do you feel a little out of place among the female stylists? Are you gay? Every other male hairdresser in the area is homosexual, how does that make you feel?'" He said in a mocking voice. He suddenly turned the most crimson he'd gone all night! He didn't want them to know he used to be a hairdresser, and now he's just gone and let it slip out.

"It's just... Nobody really expects it from me... Most of my time is spent drinking and joyriding. Not something that your average hairstylist would do. The guys always tease me about it when they find out... and the amount of competition. It's just too much sometimes." Lex explained with a shrug. His face was still crimson, like it was going to stay that way. He copped a lot of crap about that too.
