well spring training is almost over and I will soon now what bass that I will be on! I'm tryig out for 3 and 4 but I hope I'm on bass 4 heart we get our show on monday and practice like hell for a little less than a month, then see what happens.
I had the awkward conversation of "well what are you going to do after I graduate?" with Denise and Nena sweatdrop (the only other girls on the line with me) I'm a year younger so if we don't get another girl in there I'm gonna be the only estrogen provider for the line! good thing I get along with the guys 3nodding heart

i love drumline. half of ours is girls.. exactly half..lol we have 16 people in the dl...so yea

we have a 12 person line TOPS! and one person is getting cut this year we just don't know who *crosses fingers*

I'm the only girl in our band of snares, and there's 7 others! Plus I'm a freshman and everyone is all tall. Sucks for me.

Dude!...=D...for a while there I thought I was one of the only girl drummers. So who all are girl SnArE drummers?...I am, as a matter of fact Im the center snare and only a freshman. There were 4snares, 2quads, and 4bass's this past season and there were only three of us that were girls. Me and onother chic on snare and one on bass....we rocked!... xp

whee Lots of female snares!! Makes me proud twisted I'm on snare, 3nodding And we have two little female tenors, out of 17 other drummers, though they are lazy so a good third don't count domokun

im a girl drummer. i play the snare. me and my friend are the only girl percussionists in our band. yea there arent that many girls drummers but i like being thought of as rare. xp

well in my school, there are a good number of female drummers, one being myself (tenor yo =D) but the pit has the most girls...during season, we liked to say that the mallet line was all girl (which was funny because there was one guy there who just happened to be our section leader...XP

In my school we have three diff bands going by beginner,intermediate,and advanced(all marching bands with snare and bass drum only)and 3-4 of the snare's are girls in the advanced band.

I'm a girl, and I play Snare Drum in a Pipe Band.
My Band is an all girls band, so all 4 people in the Snare core are girls. And all 4 Tenors are girls too.

I was one of 3 girls in about 14 or so drummers/percussionists. I was co-section leader with the lead snare player, who was a guy. I marched with the quints! (I am the first girl section leader our school has ever had as well! hehe. but it's only been around for about 10 years.)

there are a lot of good female drummers in rock groups, like the white stripes...
