i have decided to do a bunch of guild-themed pics, which i will hopefully get to scan when i get back for the summer and beyond. i'll finish the DA one, and now i'm working on a BoV one, with Zeta hunched over Sigma and LAATs in the background. i may wanna submit that one for my illustration portfolio for Arts Center, but i should get it back in time to scan it with the rest.
Nelo, I was thinking... by the movie covers, did you mean with the characters' faces circling the title, with spaceships in the center? that would be fun to do...

hmm. not bad. like the flames on the front but I think you should have done more of that on the vessel overall.
could also use some shading.

Nelowulf Well, I could submit several ideas for you to ponder, if you're interested. i'm listening. btw, i'm working on a kind of 'poster' for SotF... trying to make it as star warsey as possible.. i'll describe what i have so far. FP's chara is in the center, and his face is above the army of droids (super battle droids), then on his right (our left) is prime's chara and on his left (our right) is DA's chara. both of the latter have their lightsibers, the combined glow of which will encompass the 'bad guys.' on either side of Phoenix's head is a star destroyer, one has a tie a squint flying away from it, and the other has a squint and a howlrunner flying away from it. below the droid army is Neb with his lightsaber held out horizontally (its glow will encompass the 'good guys') and on his left (our right) is Mordranna, in her flight suit and helmet, though you can only see her from the shoulders up. i'm gonna have ganil next to her, and possibly Selk above him, and on the other side will be Cale, that crazy jawa guy, and uber's chara. i just need to see their descriptions so i can make accurate drawings... speaking of which, it'd be real helpful if people described in detail what they want their character to look like... otherwise i'll just figure it out for myself.

Well, I was actually thinking One big poster for the opening, and have two more. That way, we aren't cramming all the characters into one lump. First, we have exhibit A. The main poster. Note, just a quick... very quick sketch.  In the middle, the circular holocron, the Tan' Sa' Qua. Seeing as how the climax and the story is both directly and indirectly pushed by it, it takes position as biggest thing on the poster. Focus your attention to the top left corner. As shown, I kinda want a pic of Mordranna fighting DA. Sort of Episode III poster, substituting in for Obi Wan and Anakin. Top right Corner. Now, in the drawing I put mordranna's ship, but I think taht I'd change that to Selk's Bwing, in space combat, blowing up who knows what. Bottom left to the holocron. FP's hooded face lurks over the Droid army like a god. I'd kind of want to have them marching en rank, with Drako near teh middle under FP. March should be facing to the right of the poster. Bottom right. Small rebel army charges back at the Droid army. In the background, Neb lights his saber, holding it in front of his face. Behind him, A backdrop of the pillar of light (to be revealed much later on) shoots up. If you need a reference to what kind of backdrop i want, think of Highlander two, with that massive power generator when Connor Mccloud steps into the light and blows up the planet shield. Bottom, the Official logo, with names in order of Jedi, Sith, NFU, repeat. However much you want to do. Sith poster:  Pretty simple. FP in middle, shooting lightning out of hands. Da to the left, oryo to the right, both igniting sabers. Top is mostly spacecraft, like ISDs, TIEs, and on bottom, the Droid army. I'm workign on the Jedi Poster, but I'm not yet sure if I want the NFU's to be part of it or not... NFU is Non-force user, if you ahven't figured it out by now.

other than that, I can imagine what the outlines look like fleshed out and the resulting image looks sound.

If anyone's interested in doing one like this, go ahead:
For those that don;t know, in the SOTF RP, Angel/Valycia will have " Force Side " issues at some point as part of a plot twist. ( Won't say any more than that though. )
Anyways, if anyone wants to, feel free to try doing a " split-face " drawing. Like, a frontal view of Angel's face, one side looks evil and corrupted by the Dark Side, the other saintly and pure from the Light Side.
I'd do it, but I'm no artist.
