Those sensitive to magic notice the air feels different. There seems to be a slight buzzing sensation to the air. Crack sizzle pop Your ears hear weird strange noises. Clearly something is up... and where is Val?

The noise calms to a slight buzz barely audible. Those sensitive will be annoyed.

((you will now see things as you are ready to see them. This won't affect most people but will affect those not versed in magic or those who magic is a normal thing. Although some strange occurances may happen to those with extreme imaginations, a tendancy to hallucinate, or who simply have their head in the clouds most of the time.

The Fortunettes will hate this. They clearly know something is up.))

Em returned the worried look. "I don't know... but Pierre is acting strangely, too." A look at the bed showed that the Fortunette infant was looking around intently, its brown ears twitching as if the noise was deafening. However, the strangest thing was, he wasn't complaining, or screaming- and his defensive quills had flattened against his head, upset.

"Come here, sweetie." She lifted the infant into her arms, and for once, he didn't protest, but buried his head in his mother's shoulder, and tucked its legs under as if to roll into a ball. Em's protective hold is the only thing that kept him from managing this.

"I think you're right- let's go speak with Val."

"I wonder what's wrong.." Em said, not more than a whisper, a gale of wind whistling around Val's wagon and into their ears. Pierre hissed, very quietly, into his mother's shawl, which was connected at its ends beneath her throat, a knitted brown knot. She stood, a pace behind Silver, and waited to see if Val would come to the door.

((Btw, I think it's funny that we both have fortunettes with main color palettes like our hair & demeanors. XD))

(Sorry for not being around, been sick the past few days)

Leshya'e clutched the paint brushes that Val had handed her, heading back to Varekai. As she reached it and opened the door, Anezka's ears and nose began to twitch and wiggle a bit. She then flopped off her bed and crawled to Shy. Shy placed the paint brushes down on a small surface and reached down, picking up Anezka, "You ok, Ani?' She hugged her and sat down, grabbing a book, "How about a story, yes?"

Silver was kind of surprised when Val answered the door and immediately asked about the children. She glanced back at Em before adressing the question. "Aisrhan's having some problems... she's acting like she's hurt or something, but I can't find anything wrong with her. I noticed an odd feeling in the air shortly before she started acting like this... and Pierre - Why do you look so worried, Val? Have you done something?" Silver shot Val a slightly accusing look.

Now Silver knew Val had done something, and she wanted to know what. It was obviously causing Aisrhan pain or discomfort of some kind. Instead of chasing after her and prodding for information, however, Silver decided it would be best to wait. Val looked worried enough for Silver to come to the conclusion that this wasn't what she had intended to happen, whatever she had done. Silver would stay out of her way and let her fix it.

Rojiza starts to fidget in Caroline's arms. Not that this is an unusual thing, but she seems...agitated today. "What is it, m'ija?" She asks, cooing and trying to calm her down. Rojiza is having none of it. She cries and kicks and generally looks very unhappy.
