Look for a giant snake-like creature with 28 spider-like legs, wings like that of a giant bat, and horns sharp enough to peirce the day.

I was thinking more along the lines of attacking it or reasoning with it or something like that. I never really plan to die. "Heh, there's not going to be any reasoning with this thing, just attack, dodge, and don't die."
