Lifting her gaze from the infant to Silver, the dull flickering light of a candle opposite her caught her eyes and reflected an eerie glow. "All of a sudden, my cats have your tongue, My Lord?"

Nodding once in disbelief, Madison handed Mallor to one of her handmaids then took hold of Silver's arm. "Of course, dear. Won't you join me for a walk?"

After venturing through the hallways, Madison returned to her room and placed her sleeping baby in the cradle, then moved behind the dressing shield and changed out of her crimson gown and into a silk, black, floor-length nightgown which hugged her delicate curves. Sighing quietly, she moved to her bed and layed down with her face in the pillows, unable to determine the emotions she had coursing through her. A mixture of emotional pain and distress pulled at her heart and it confused her to the point she lost herself in tears. For the first time since her creation, she cried.

Without lifting herself from her pillow entirely, she answered Silver, trying to hide the fact she was just crying. "Aye, Silver?"

"Can seems to have given her soul to hell. She was trying to cast a spell, but she ended up getting struck by lightning, and her soul got transfered into a mirror, which broke. Come with me to the forest, I'll show you."

Sighing quietly and lifting herself, she wiped her eyes and cheeks of the fallen tears, threw on her cloak and followed Silver into the forest.
