((Forgot to roll XD))

The dice clattered on the table and Sam bent down to look at the restult. He peered down as the dice slowly came to a stop. It took several seconds for him to add up the total.

"163 hmm, didn't win anything," he glanced out at the red and black raevan. It was holding a bunch of flowers out to a black haired woman. How could these people use such beautiful creatures for petty money like this? Sam was quite positive he knew the reason the subject of hot guys always popped up along with the subject of Lab[305], especially looking at the red and black raevan.

Aphismet was enjoying his hot chocolate thoroughly, sitting on one of the cushioned benches in front of the bonfire. The drink was rich and smooth, not that watered-down stuff you got in most places. Aphismet couldn't help but smile in satisfaction. This was one of his favorite moments so far this year. The cold air at his back, the warmth of the large fire warming his front... Ah, this was the life.

Sam glared at Aphismet as he sipped his hot cocoa. From his vantage point at the dice booth he could see him clearly. He was sitting there in the cold sipping his hot cocoa and smiling. He wasn't even paying attention to the red and black raevan the snotty scientist! He rolled the dice again not really paying attention to what they landed on. It was time to make his strike!

Sam slipped away from the dice booth and took the long way around, approaching the man from behind. He slid up to his back and leaned down and said. "So what's your raevan's name?" trying to sound cool and collected, coming off a bit as simple an antisocial teenager.

The scene that greeted Kalec as he emerged from his meditative sleep contained so much information that his senses were overloaded. He could handle focusing on a few select individuals but this was a bit too much for his newly developing Raevan mind.

Reeling a little, he covered his face with one of his slender hands to blind his senses so he could come up with a plan of action.

The Raevan Gage and Julian were familiar sights. He could hear their banter, and their tones of voice told him many things, not all of which he could grasp. It was indeed as if he was pre-programmed with information, but his access to that information wasn't available until he himself had experienced and formulated connections between concept and reality.

He peeked out from under his hand and let his eyes adjust. There was a new Raevan in the refreshment booth with them, along with the bustling cook. What was his name...Ray? Ray Kit? Indeed it was, his memory told him, as he cooly analyzed the man. He was dressed in a more formal fashion, which had thrown him a bit at first, but it was indeed the same person. He would have to get used to this, the change of outer appearance of non-Raevan. Gage seemed unchanged at least.

And there was the fish-man again, moving around in the area of an unfamiliar Black and Red Raevan. It was true, that most of his kind were unfamiliar to him, but at least their forms hardly changed. He would try to introduce himself to this Raevan later, and learn more about him. His sharp ears picked up some of the conversation but not all of it, through the bustle of the area.

Gage was doing something peculiar though, he noticed. He was watching someone and yet, trying to...hide? His mind reassured him that this was the right word, but the logic escaped him. If he was so interested in the object of his desire, why didn't he simply go out and speak? Despite his calculating mind, he didn't know enough about relationships to put two and two together yet.

Things were a little bit too bustling though. He had to narrow things down. Perhaps, introducing himself to the new Raevan in his booth would make things more interesting and more focused. He couldn't gather data if there was too much to gather, despite his thirst for knowledge.

"Hello," he spoke without much tact or warning at all as he moved next to Zave. Zave seemed to had a very prominent personality, and was much more developed than he. Perhaps he could learn from this individual. "My name is Kalec, I do not think we have met. What is your name?" He took his place up at the counter, and waited for an answer, relatively sure that all social conventions had been met.

"W-w-well, I certainly don't want to hold up traffic, Mr. Julian," Natsuki said, coming to her senses. She never liked tension, especially when it was between people she was engaged in conversation with. Taking her brown cap off, her copper hair rolled down just past her shoulders in waves.

"Shall we?" Natsuki smiled gently, turning her full attention back to Julian. Closing her eyes slowly and politely, she really hoped her act of charity wasn't going to jump back and bit her in the face.

Vyn eyed the woman coolly, her face tilted slightly to the side in puzzlement. ...Frightened? Why would she be frightened?

"It is...fine," Vyn said at length, choosing her words carefully and accompanying them with a dainty nod of her head. Her words were halting, but her voice velvety and soft as petals, although deeper than what one might expect from a female. It was rather sexy in a manner that was made all the more so simply because she did not realize it herself.

Black-yellow eyes blinked once in surprise as the woman then proffered her a rather large bundle of the flowers she had just been looking at earlier. If Vyn was a little more observant she would have noticed that someone else was also looking at her as well, but the Shadow Frei was so used to garnering attention wherever she went that she had long become desensitized to people staring, whether it was in admiration, jealousy, awe, fear, or confusement. For now, her attention was not on who was paying attention to her or not, but on the bouquet that was offered to her.

Something similar had happend to Shuura, earlier. Someone had given her guardian a bundle of flowers wrapped up in similar fashion. Thinking back to what Shuura had did, Vyn hesistated for a moment, then gently accepted the bouquet from the woman with both hands, noting at the same time that her eyes were a surprising green--a pleasing color, such a vivid contrast to Shuura's normally blazing red ones.

Pausing a moment to take in the scent of the flowers, Vyn floated in place thoughtfully. What was she supposed to do next? The Frei glanced around--right after she had taken the flowers, Shuura had then thrown them immediately into the nearest trash can, but Vyn couldn't see any trash cans anywhere. She was a little glad for that, though, since it seemed like such a waste, not to mention it made the person who had given Shuura the flowers crumple over. Vyn decided to hold onto the flowers, for a little longer at least.

The whole area seemed to be getting busy by the second as Niksia wandered around the different booths. Some were empty, the occupants busy elsewhere by the looks of things. Two booths were crowded enough to make Niksia shy away a little.

There was something going on there, a few raised voices and the like. Not a fight, she wouldn't call it that, but maybe a few too many strong emotions for her.

Pondering the situation, one blouse sleeve sneaked up toward her face again, Niksia decided to lurk in the general direction of the booths anyway. Even if she didn't want directly involved, it was still fun to listen.

Rivener smiled at Vyn, as he pocketed Alex's money. She had given him a tip! She might be a woman, but she was a generous woman. And Vyn seemed to enjoy the present.

"If you want, Vyn, you can work here at the booth with me; you'd get to be close to the flowers all night. Wouldn't that be nice?"
He added, waving her over gently.

Aphismet startled at the sudden voice. He hadn't been paying much attention to his surroundings, and so Sam's approach was a complete surprise. Aph spun to face this newcomer, careful not to spill his drink. "Erm, what? Oh, my R-Raevan? Oh, er, mine is called Rivener. He's the red and black one, over there." He gestured in the general direction of the booths, not really paying attention. He was too busy concentrating on this fishy character.

As soon as the woman's eyes closed, Julian leaned down towards her. One of his hands rose, and he took hold of her chin in a slightly hard grip. Firmly, he tilted her head upwards, meeting her halfway with the expected "prize". For someone who spent so much time hidden away in labs or his own apartment, there was a certain level of experiance in the kiss the young man offered. He was soft, nearly polite in the manner in which he pressed his lips against the other's. The touch was simple, but not nearly as cold or held back as expected. Within a second of contact his hand left Natsuki's jaw, instead travelling to rest lightly on her shoulder.

His own eyes never closed. They only narrowed.

Gage's eyes never left the flowers or the Raevan holding them. His hands gripped the edge of the stand he was hiding behind, his fingers just visible along with the upper portion of his head. Surely, his actions were gathering some attention, but not from her which was the point. Despite that strange, magnetic force that made him constantly look at the shadow Frei when she was near to him, Gage seemed far happier having Vyn not notice him. Much, much, much happier.

Alex found herself momentarily enthralled once again. The female Raevan's voice was heavenly, even to her human ears. She'd only said three words, but Alex felt struck by them. If all the Raevans were like this...what type of Lab WAS that place?

The Italian woman shook her head to clear her mind, observing the female Raevan. To Alex's scientific self, it seemed as though the other was uncertain as to what to do next. To her heart, it looks as those this lovely woman had never received a gift before.

She glanced to the male Raevan to see if he'd know anything. Much to her delight, he stepped in, offering her a place to stay amongst the flowers. Vyn, her name was...it was fitting, somehow. He was quite the gentleman to her, which eased Alex's mind. Her fingers curled around her quickly cooling cup of luke-warm chocolate, smiling softly at the two. So pretty, she thought fondly, so delicate.

Another thought crossed her mind. Perhaps the Raevans didn't have much interaction with humans...this could be why she seemed so quiet and unsure. The handsome one seemed to know and care for this equally beautiful female; she smiled fondly, murmuring, "Miss Vyn, kind sir. I hope you find enjoyment this evening."

She turned to look for a trash can for her cool chocolate, and spied the strawberry treat that she'd bought earlier, untouched on the counter. Zoe had been such a squirmy little bugger that she'd forgotten all about it. Alex offered another kind smile before she moved to retrieve the pastry, wondering if she couldn't bribe Zoe to behave with it.

Nice and gentle. That was the only way to describe it. Natsuki was surprised that such a straight laced guy would lack in finesse and have surgical precision in such matters. Much like kissing an aunt one didn't like and then backing away in fear. His initial grip on her chin surprised her a little, but it was just forceful enough that she liked it.

Allowing Julian to bestow his gentlemanly gift, she smiled, touching his shoulder lightly in return. Natsuki, being the lady, decided to brank ranks first, pulling herself away slowly. She didn't want her lips to linger too long, especially as they had just met. She didn't open her gray eyes again until she was a bit away from his face.

"I hate to kiss and run, Julian," Natsuki said apologetically. "But I need to excuse myself for a few minutes."

Approaching the lab Myst saw what seemed to be party or something going on. Peeking her interested she moved towards all the booths and people, scaning the area to see what there was. Kissing booths, refreshment booths, some sort of tunnel, and pan of some kind... The floating torsos wandering about or working booths made her pause. She wasn't sure weither they were the strangest things she'd see, or if she'd seen stranger, it was hard to tell.

Her current outfit consisted of a black leather jacket over a white t-shirt, black pants, and black boots. Her hair presently down to keep the chill off her neck.

She sidled over to the pan to investigate first. Hmm, dice and prizes. That kind of looked like fun. Doubting that she'd win anything, she picked up the dice and cast them into the pan.

Peering into the pan she shrugged, "58... Not a winning number."

A dragon... a dragon was showing up back there.. and it ate my pastry... Ray thought his world was distorted from the reality a bit but... Oh, well, wasn't it distorded since his first meeting with Dr.Kyou? He tried to calm himself down, kept the money he gained and looked around the place. He wanted to know more raevans and their owners. Ray decided to rest a bit. He didn't notice that there was one raevan looked at him a while, but it seemed his interest changed to Zavier.

Walking around lonely, Ray saw one of the raevan had older face than other raevans, the male raevan with black and red colors... Was he different from other raevans? Then he looked at female raevan that was floating near the male raevan, That one is black and red too... She's beautiful .. but why I feel a bit creepy for her...? Maybe because of her eyes... The cook decided not to go greet them right now but instead, he looked around kissing booths, thought to himself, Huh... why am I looking those? Want one? He let out slightly laugh to his silly idea. Nah, maybe I should check on them, but not now.

Continue on his stroll, he found 'Tunnel of Love' but it was doubtful he would courage enough to go alone. Though, it was tunnel of love, going alone may be strange somehow. His gaze fixed to new thing, This one is more interesting. 'Lucky Pan' huh? He looked up the prizes and saw a lot of names as he guessed maybe there were all of raevans' name because he noticed Lazarus and Zavier were there. What were their names doing on there? The prize???

"Hmm... it's not the bad thing I should try on..." The cook rolled the dice.

"UHH! 97!!! So close... just missed only one point!" He gnashed his teeth. He heard another voice of the woman mumbled on her dice number also, he turned his face to the voice and found another woman was stooding there.

Myst wondered if anyone actually got the dice to be nice and let them win yet. She glanced to the side, and turned to face the man that also missed out on a winning number with the dice, "Not very cooperative dice, are they?" she asked with a chuckle, tucking a lock of black hair behind one of her ears.

She turned back to the dice for a moment, "Think I'll try again." she stated and gave them another roll.

With a glance at the dice and a glance at the winning numbers again, she sighed, "109.. Nope."
