Ruki held back the almost overwhelming urge to take the candy away from her and recommend a good tooth brush. Didn't she know how dirty Scottie's back porch was?!
"By the way, Ruki, I can see you twitching back there," Scottie said flatly. "You can clean up if you want."
Ruki sighed in relief and grabbed the broom.

"It's my first visit here, bub." Grinnie said flatly, finishing off the candy and retrieving another. She held one out for Ruki. "You want one? They've got a pretty interesting taste, but they're good."

"No thanks, I don't wanna ruin my dinner," he said, waving it off, running to Scottie's hal to start sweeping. Her family had a tendency to track dirt and dust in like crazy.
((When Ruki refuses, it's because I don't know what they taste like, so I don't have a point of reference. Nothing personal. ^^;; ))

((It's okay. They actually taste kinda powdery but they're really gooey and stick to your teeth.))
Grinnie shrugged and wandered into the kitchen to see if Kai wanted any help with dinner, making sure not to track in any more dirt.

--Fastforward to dinner--
Aoi picks up his plate full of goodies and goes to the kitchen table to find that it's covered in...well...crap.
"Feel free to eat wherever you want, Aoi-kun," Scottie said, leading him away from the table. "That's one of my dad's workshops now."
"Ooooh."
"Yeah, we have a pretty small house for five people. Let's all grab a chair and we can eat in the living room, kay?"

Grinnie was already seated in the living room in front of the couch. She took a bite of food and scrunched her face up, the food was good!
"Ah! Kai!! C'mere you cutie, you!!" She squealed, making grabbie hands. Kai came over with his adorable smile. When he reached Grinnie she still made the grabbie hands; a gesture to bend down, he consented and Grinnie gave him a big smooch on the cheek.
"The foods good, I take it."
"It's great!"

"And thank you for cleaning up," Scottie said, giving Ruki a kiss on top of his head as she sat down on the now empty couch. He'd even put up her family's laundry...odd...but a nice gesture.
"Ne, Scottie!" he said, just putting up his cleaning supplies.
"You can go get your jacket, too..."
"No, that's not what I mean. I already got my jacket."
"He wants to clean out your dad's storage building," Uruha clarified.
Ruki nodded fervently, a wide grin spread across his face.
"Not even God can clean that building out, Ruki. Leave it."
The vocalist slumped and and trudged off, pouting again.
"Get some food, too!" Aoi added cheerfully.

"Ruki has a cleaning disorder dunn he?" Grinnie aimed the question mainly at the miniature vocalist, but if someone else decided to answer that was fine. A few minutes later she giggled at her bad pun.

Ruki shot a scowl at Grinnie before going off to wash up and eat dinner.

"Bad puns kick a**." Grinnie said, taking another bite of her meal. She noted that there wasn't nearly as much dog hair everywhere as compared to her own home.

"The doggie lives outside, Grinnie-chan. The other hairs are from the kittay," Scottie explained.
"Pepper's such a cutie!" Ruki gushed as he walked in with his plate.
"You only say that because you don't want her to attack you."
"...No, she's cute!"
"Pepper doesn't like males all that much," Scottie explained...again.

Uruha stopped and looked at Grinnie a little strangely, but went back to finishing his bite of food.
"Don't worry, Uruha," Scottie said, picking up a bit of food with her fork. "You still smell like a male, so she still wouldn't like you...although, I'm not sure how that's a good thing."
