Dammit! Keiko Hiyomura cursed silently as she ran across the courtyard towards the shed she hoped her next class - PE - would indeed take place in. If it wasn't...well, she didn't have enough time to hunt for the real venue; she was, well and truly, late.
Great going, Hiyomura... she berated herself. It's only the first day and you're already tardy in one subject...
The brunette slowed to a stop outside the shed, just long enough to tie her hair back properly. It wouldn't do to have one's hair flying in one's face while playing sports. She peeked in.
There were quite a number of students in the shed already; among them was one girl with curly brown hair and another had violet hair up in two buns on either side of her head. Three of the guys caught her eye; one had slate-colored hair, one had blonde hair, and yet another had medium brown hair. Keiko felt that she'd seen them somewhere, but couldn't place them just yet.
Looks like I'm not as late as I thought... Keiko thought, feeling only a little relieved because she'd seen that the instructor for this class was already there. She walked in.
"Uh...excuse me? This is the first PE class for today, right? I'm really sorry I'm late..."

((I had it pictured in my head that there was more than just the characters we're all playing. Otherwise it would be a pretty sad game of hockey. Oh and lols at pokemon theme song))
Alex looked at the makeshift goals their teacher had set up almost longingly before he remembered that the goal was what everyone was aiming at. No thanks he thought, moving to a seemingly safe place on the field now that he'd lost his protection.
"No volunteers for goalkeepers?" Joycelyn asked. "Ah well. Makes it more interesting this way. Oh! And by the way. Do you see the three point line?" She said, indicating to the basketball court markings surrounding the goals. "No one is allowed inside them. I don't want anyone killing anyone else near the goals- or elsewhere." She added as an afterthought before waving that thought away.
She looked up and noticed Keiko. "First day?" She asked, indicating the lone pink hockey stick still left. "Grab your stick and get on the field, did you hear the rules? If not ask someone near you."
She turned back to Arani and Max. "Play nice guys." She reminded them as she picked up the whistle hanging around her neck and blew into it as hard as she could.
Kai tensed as he tried to discern the way Arani would go. He respected Max but also knew there was no way he would even try to fight against the murderous look Arani had firmly on her face.
((Ow. I had to type that with one hand because had needle today and left arm is dead. For those who don't know the three point line it's the big semi-circle line around the goalpost in basketball - ) <- like that where the dash is the hoop. Ok?))

Keiko picked up the pink hockey stick, and not without some hesitation. It'll make it easier to see who are on which team... she told herself, trying to forget that she was holding a hockey stick that was the one color she most disliked.
Then she heard that no one had volunteered for goalkeepers. She glanced around; indeed, there were no volunteers.
I'm probably going to kill myself doing this... the brunette heaved a huge, but inaudible sigh as she walked back to the court. She timidly poked a hand in the air.
"Uh, sensei? I'll...I'll be goalkeeper for my team... I guess..." She gripped her stick tighter. What was she getting herself into? Defensive positions weren't exactly her strong point, but then, that was probably what made her volunteer in the first place: so she could work on her defense. Besides, it would be a challenge for her to switch strategies, even just this once.

Rin got on Max's right side. She was usually a defender, but he was gonna need help...and she wasn't afraid to charge Arani. She waited for another classmate to get into position behind her. When she got the puck, if she did, she would pass it to the other kid and move back to defend. "Don't worry Max, I got your back..."

Arani smirked at Kai, noticing how he was analyzing where she'd move too. She saw Rin come up on her left, which didn't bother her since she planned on heading past Kai to rub it in anyways.

Sighing again, Keiko made her way over to what she assumed would be the 'pink' team's goalpost. Even though the instructor hadn't said anything yet, she figured she'd best get in position. Besides, she could probably analyze the players' movements better from there.
She gripped the plastic stick tightly, slowing her breathing down in order to relax herself. She believed in the saying 'relaxation leads to better play' - well, it wasn't really a saying, but that was as good a term as any. She'd seen proof of it in the past, and not a few were her own experiences. The more relaxed one was, it seemed the quicker one's reflexes and the faster one's movements became. And that would definitely come in handy for this game.

Rin watched Arani...she had a very evil glint to her eyes...and she was staring at Kai. She turned to look at him. "Don't let her get past you..."

((I may have mentioned that I have no practical knowledge of hockey but every hockey game I've every played started with the ball already in the middle and the two players with their sticks on either side of it. My personal theory is that the ball is -heavy- and -hard- and if dropped it would most likely a) not be in the centre and b) the ball would go wayward and hit someone's feet/ equipment and there would be owwies and unhappy people running around. Now. Are we going to keep arguing or can we just keep going with the Role Play?))

//I'd rather let you know as of now that I haven't posted because of my school life and the load of tests and projects I've had recently. Plus I'll have two exams, one on the 19th and one on the 21st, and I have to pass at least one as to not fail the year. So yeah, I kind of made studying my priority lately thus leading to not posting. : //
Yeah, play nice... Max repeated the teacher's words in his mind, tensing as she blew the whistle. He wanted to play this game just as well as anyone else, however, it was easier said than done. He tried moving only fractions of seconds after the beginning of the game was signaled by the whistle, but he couldn't. It was like he was frozen in his spot.
Oh god, just calm down! The blond's inner self shouted in his mind, as if it would do anything. Max hadn't played this game in a long, long time and he had never been all that astounding. Maybe he'd be called a chicken or a loser for this, but he looked at Arani with a look that bluntly told her to take the ball and get it over with.
No, Max wasn't afraid of his opponent and he wasn't afraid of what anyone would call him later. He'd rather play any sort of game in a defensive mode; call it a habit from beyblading.

((Gomen, Gomen.... I was in NYC tending my idiot boyfriends injuries and was unable to post.... sweatdrop ))
Arani smirked and nodded at Max, hitting the ball to her left twoards Kai and glancing twoards the few teammates headed for the goal, hoping for someone to pass to. She saw one girl dash past Kai; so Arani sentthe ball her way.
