Kyou's sudden and abrupt exit left K dumbfounded a little. K wasn't always the one with quick responses, and Kyou's quick string of words and action leave little space for K to respond. In fact, Kyou didn't even let K have the time to consider about his rewards if he indeed stayed over to take care of Rivener. Oh well, I guess I have no choice but to take care of him for now. K thought as he stare at the currently sleeping Rivener. Tugging Rivener's arm underneath Kyou's jacket, K got comfortable on another couch nearby to spend his night. He stared a long while at the floating whale since there isn't much interesting to do, and stayed up all night. K is a nocturnal person, he could stay up a few days if he wanted to. But he hoped Rivener's guardian, whoever he or she is would come back soon. He had a fresh specimen at home waiting for him.

Maybe he could request an equally exciting research specimen from Kyou next time as his reward. Kyou always had the chance to come in contact with weird and exciting stuff. And K would be more than happy enough to cut them up!
