Nina looked at Wes. "...something's not right. I don't think we should go this way... but, if you think it's right... then I'm okay with whatever your decision might be." Nina had a blank face.

Wes stopped, "You want to go back? We can go back if you want, but you have to make a decision fast. Its either this way or back the way we came." He said quickly. He knew that if they spent too much time here they would be attacked.

A tall creature around 6 feet tall stood in the shadow with one shimmering red eye locked on the couple. It's appearance was inhuman yet humanoid shaped. It's hair hung back in long thick strands of black and red. Two large horns protruded from the forehead of the demon and hanging from them was a metallic mask with the face of a harlequin on it. It's clothing was black and tight like a leather outfit though it hung loose with small metallic scales and various belts. Softly spoke the demon, "Too late..." Then one hand gripped a short sword and swung it at the two mid body.

"Dammit I knew we shouldn't have stopped!" Wes screamed as he jumped away from the monsters swing grabbing the girls arm bringing her down with him.

Nina wasn't too sure what happened next. Everything semed a blur. One moment, she was talking to Wes, the next she heard some inhuman voice from down the hall, and as if that wasn't enough, Wes grabbed her arm and was pulling her away from the beast.

Roaring the creeper swung down at the couples arms. Mainly since the man had grabbed the girls arm. As it moved the sword down it's eyes cast a red glow that seemed to lock on the man. The scales rustled silently and appeared covered in ash that launched into the air around it. It's new cover of the ash cloud had a red tint to it sort of like there was blood mixed in. But not the demons blood of course for it was protected by it's tough armor.

Polyphonic Rain Drops As Naima watched the creature she fought back the urge to scream, their was no point anyway. The sound of te radio blocked out all noise as itfilled up her ears forcing ehr to cover them with ehr cupped hands. The music was almost torturous.

Wes had to think fast, but he didn't like his options. In a quick blur Wes let go of Nina's hand and pushed her away from the sword. He tried to slip his hand away in time but only escaped with a huge gash on his arm. "Run!" Wes screamed, "Hurry up and go!" He knew that even if he told the girl to leave she wouldn't, but he had to try. He couldn't have someone risk their life for him.

In a single fluid movement Naima flung herself aside, toppling the creature off her. Barely missing the creatures teeth she winced as its claws caught on her forearm, leaving an inch wide cut on her arm. Not to deep but still pain sprung up her arm.
Cursing silently to herself Naima leapt up, glancing to where her katanas were, being guarded by several shriekers. Glancing back to the larger creature she shrugged, the shriekers were better than that thing.
Making a run for it she leapt for her katanans, attempting to get over the shriekers.

A hideous laughter came from the creeper as it kicked for the mans head. It sensed the blood and wanted more of it. Even just another little drop wouldn't satisfy the demon so he aimed his scaled leg at the mans head to remove it from the body. It's black leather released more ash and blood mist with the kick.

Wes saw the foot that headed for his face so Wes raised his gun and shot with his good hand. Then he a knife from his pocket with his bad hand and slashed at the foot.

Wes noticed the sparkling green vial, "Whatever it is use it now!" He screamed as he continued firing and slashing.

Nina made an affirmative sound in her throat and splashed the contents of the vial onto the creatures back.

The demon snarled as it felt the bullet graze it's leg and then the knife do the same. Pulling it's leg down the creature hissed at the two bewfore unleashing another lethal swing from it's blade towards the man. But it quickly felt a searing pain on it's upper back like something burned it for a second. Instantly the demon thrashed about it's scales fell loose on it's back. As it thrashed around the scales released from the leather and launched all over the halls in a flurry of black metal. The short sword flew at the man on the floor once the enraged demon let go.
What might have been hair whipped about in a frenzy as the demon panicked. It's arms swung at everything including the walls and the couple. All while the leather and flesh burned together on it's back. The inhuman sounds came from it's mouth like cries of pain from a dieing animal.
