That was cute, kaen!!
Drawing helps a lot. I read when I am sad, though...or plot for my comic.
Kaen and River and other, has this ever happened to you? A girl asked your sincere opinion and the girl starts crying. I don't give my opinion on stuff anymore because of that. xp

Skye should get the credit...she drew the faerie, I just colored.
Not really....I did make an ex-boyfriend cry when I was breaking up with him, but I've never made another girl cry when she asked my opinion.
Well, at least they didn't in front of me. I can't stand seeing other girls cry; I have to go comfort them.

I tend to be rude because if you tell them nicely they never learn and don't change their style.
I won't do it anymore...

PhoenixFirecat My parents know that drawing helps me get through stuff...that and writing....I have a lot of good writings and sketches come out every April...well, the past Aprils at least....let's just say that certain situations seem to happen at the same time every year in my family and I don't have any better ways of dealing with it....Klutz and Jewel definitely know what I'm talking about. On a lighter note, here's something that Bunny-chan drew and I colored. Fall Faerietehee, yay, you put it up! Wonderful job, by the way! ^^

I do understand how that could be frustrating! I mean, if someone asks for critique, and you give them honest critique that will help them in the future, they shouldn't cry about it! Tsk tsk, spineless! Personally, I love critique...I've got tougher skin and I always want to improve, plus having a teacher that always told me how much he hated me and every piece, but then I made one piece he said was good, that just made that piece much better, ya know?

well, I never has a teacher...I learned by watching anime and manga...right now that is what I'm doing to learn. My family didn't help me in critique either...but my mom is helping me now.

My grandmother is the one with the artistic ability. She actually complimented one of my drawings that she had given me advice on. My grandma is kinda like Queen Clarisse from Princess Diaries, but is an artist instead of a queen.

There are a lot of artists in my family, so I've got a lot to live up to. Makes me feel good when they compliment my work.

Well, there are a lot of artists on my mom's side (her sister and neice do pottery) and everyone plays an instrument....but it skipped my mom. She doesn't play and instrument and her drawing ability ends at stick figures, but she is a fantastic embroiderer and seamstress.
My dad can draw, he just doesn't most of the time.

Hmm....I came up with a New Year's design, but it'll only work if my cats cooperate...I use them as reference for my dragons or, well, cat drawings. I need to start it soon I guess.

Just a Chrismas sketch of some kind. I figured out that I'm going to have PFcat (who is my tiger-demon mascot) playing with a 2006 ball with the 2007 ball on a model of the tower. I took a picture of my cat today while mom got him to chase a ribbon.
