Our whole low brass has 7 but we have 3 baritones 3 tubas and 1 trombone. Actually we haveone and a half trombones cuz i'm learning how to play.

There are 5 clarinets including me. (We have a very small school band though...) biggrin CLARINETS RULE!!! biggrin

21 flutes!!! our section is the biggest, it's way too many... this year's freshman aren't very good... smile they'll get better though, I hope...

In my high school band there's nine clarinets. Some of them really don't play, though. It makes me very upset. Since I'm from a small school, there's only one band and you don't even have to try out.

4 tubas, including myself. I'm second chair sad There are like... ten flutists as well, but I don't get to play the flute in school anymore. Sad times.

Last year we had 28 Clarinets this year we have 12 next year if no one joins we will most likely have 5. This year No freshmen. 5 sophomores, 5 juniors, 2 seniors.

cause we're the most competitive section...
Auditions are killer for us.. >__<

wow, you guys must have massive bands.
i play the oboe and there has never been more than 2 in my section.
last year in symphonic band i was the only one. .. now im in wind ensemble and there are 2 of us. biggrin
