i like burnination Kawaii_Senpai i like burnination RADIOHEAD i listened to OK Computer yesterday. at first i didn't like it, but it really grew on me. Paranoid Android and Exit Music (For a Film) are probably the best on the album. I haven'tlisten to OK Computer in years. I use to have it years ago like closer to when it frist came out. I need to rebuy it. I recently got Kid A , Hail to The Thief and The Bends. I should have gotten OK Computer instead of the bends though. i haven't heard any of their other stuff, so i have nothing to compare it too. but now i feel kinda ... odd 'cause the high school leader who introduced me to them has been really convicted by it, to the point where he threw the CD away. major bummer. I did that once too. There was a time where my music in a since bcame an idol to me. I threw them away. Recently I re-bought a few but I have more of a handle on it then I did before. That and I also try not to listen to certain tracks that just bother me. There aren't many. Do you think God is telling you to let them go?

i discovered a band called Oceans Above, and their self-titled album is amazing. they do covers of all these different worship songs, from hymns to a David Crowder song, and redo them in an indie/alternative way.

I've heard of them, they're pretty Good! Okay, there's an amazing young woman in my hometown who I know through some church stuff. She's a sophomore this year, and just released her AMAZING debut Christian album. It's very teen-pop, but there is no denying that she is a very talented fifteen year old. Check her out! : http://www.taylahodges.com/

i like burnination never heard of him. sorry. |: i discovered Roisin Murphy recently. is she a good indicator of what electronic music sounds like? I find that the secondary influences in electronica really influence the sound. with Roisin, for instance, while she has elements of electronic sound, it's the jazz (and by proxy, nu-jazz) element that gives her a distinctive sound. Where as...Imogen Heap, for instance, whose secondary influence in style is harmonic and acappella music, is lumped in the same catagory of Electronica, but doesn't sound much like Roisin. I do like both, though, I've yet to do anything more than listen to Roisin while surfing myspace, where I've broken down and purchased Imogen's latest album. smile

I love Christian Rock... Thousand Foot Krutch and dc Talk are the best. Have any of you heard them? They've probably been mentioned here before... Sometimes it speaks to me more than the Bible does...

I've listened to both before, yeah. Problem with my listening to Christian Music, I typically prefer things a little stronger in the beat, and neither Thousand foot Krutch nor DC Talk carries the power I prefer.

I'm very fond of TFK. their new album sounds like it's going to be great (I can't stop listening to "Falls Apart" on their site). DC Talk, while classic, is beyond my taste most days...though I still rock out to Jesus Freak near the peak of a workout on the weights....*sigh*
I'm really into Skillet lately, myself. I saw them live in August, and I am awed at them....

The only band that ever come here from America is Switchfoot. I went to see them with some friends one time and they were amazing! Skillet are good but I prefer TFK. dc Talk might be going on tour or making a new album in 2008. I don't know if this has already been mentioned here?
I love 'Favourite Disease.' The only problem is purevolume's blocked at school and my friend doesn't like them anyway. (We share headphone's 'cause she likes the same music as me.)
And, changing the subject, do you think Deathbed by Relient K is a sad song?
