"Oooh! We're going to FAYE'S house?! Momma, I wish you'd've told me earlier, I would've brought my dolls!" Vidya's voice was mingled with the joy at seeing her cherub friend, and the absolute distress of not having been allowed to properly prepare. You see, the pregnant shapeshifter didn't actually tell Vidya where they were going until they were nearly there. Why? No idea. But Enoh sure thought it was funny. Eventually Vidya would too, or so she figured. Things are always funnier when you look back on them.
Hell, maybe the morning sickness would be funny one day.
"I'm sure you'll find something else to play...besides, think of this as giving poor Cosette a break from having to put up with you two blowing bubbles or squirting water at her." Enoh laughed happily, shaking her head in all of her amusement. She severely pitied the Koru, but at the same time...if the girls would have ganged up on Teivel like she was sure they would have if Cosette wasn't there...well, they's have a couple of hurt girls and one mighty pissed off stag. So all in all, everyone was lucky Cosette was there. Well, maybe not Cosette...but she didn't know for sure. "Besides, its our turn to visit them! Eight did invite us over, you know."
"Oh...So if we're going to Eight's, why isn't Sammy here too? Wouldn't she want to see that other dog boy?" Vidya looked around them, wondering for a moment if the Dog Tahnee was hiding from them; obviously she wasn't.
"...I don't know why she's not with us, actually. She said something about the park before we left..." Enoh mused upon finally reaching the doorstep. As the pair contemplated the lack of Samira, the shifter knocked at the door, and awaited an answer.

Shauna sat on the edge of her mother's bed and simply stared, not sure if she should be confused or weirded out by Eight's choice of Halloween costume for herself...so she settled on both. "So um...what kind of costume is that?" She asked, bringing hr legs up onto the bed to sit indian style. Eight blinked and glanced back at Shauna, having caved earlier when her daughter begged to let her watch her try on her Halloween costume. Yeah, she'd bought it ages ago but...she'd never taken the time to really try it on, it was good thing it fit.
"Er...it's called...a belly dancer costume!" There was no way Eight would say it was a harem costume, because then Shauna would ask what a harem was and she just did not want to tell her daughter about that. Shauna shrugged it off like it was nothing and pushed herself off the bed, skipping out of the room with a wave. Hm...was there anyone around? The fox looked to her left, then to her right, then over the banister to see if anyone was down there...no one could yell at her if they didn't see this...
A playful smirk crept across Shauna's lips, climbing onto the banister and sliding down it to the bottom. Unfortunately Liam had decided to come out of the sitting room about halfway down the stairs, sighing and rolling his eyes. "Shauna, you know you're not supposed to do that. You could get--" The dog's eyes widened, lunging forward to catch the fox as she lost her balance in surprise, giving a pained grunt when he ended up falling and she landed on his back. "...Hurt..." Liam shook his head as Shauna climbed off his back, accepting the help she offered to stand him back up and putting a hand to his lower back. "I think you may have broken it that time." He murmured, smiling down at his little sister. Both their ears perked up suddenly when someone knocked on the door, Liam shrugged and slowly made his way to the door. Wow...that really did hurt. Faye was nowhere to be seen, so neither of them had to worry about having to race her to the door this time.
"Sorry, Liam~! You surprised me! Uh...I'll open the door this time!" She chirped excitedly, skipping over to the door and reaching for the doorknob. Oh wait! Momma had always told her to check who was at the door first before she opened it for anyone! At this point Liam had finally reached the door, already opening it before Shauna had a chance to peek out the window next to the door. She pouted. "Liaaaaaam! Momma always says to check who's there before you open the door!"
"Oh, hey Enoh...Vidya?" She looked way different than the last time he saw her. He grinned and ruffled Shauna's hair, almost ruining the neat braids it was in. "It's okay, you broke my back, not much else they can do to me." ...Wait a second...something was missing from this picture...
Vidya, Enoh...no Samira? His ears lowered ever so slightly, stepping aside for Shauna to peek around the door and see who was standing there. "Ooh! Hiiiii! ...Liam, you're supposed to let them in~!" The fox rolled her eyes and poked at her brother's side, tearing him out of the daze he was in. What was that all about? Oh well, she could bug him later! For now she just settled on dramatically pushing on him to move him out of the way, folding her hands innocently behind her back as she turned to Enoh and Vidya. "Hi! I'm Shauna~! Please come in!" Obviously Eight had gotten to the girl about manners before she had a chance to be corrupted by anything. The halfling in question was walking down the stairs now, dressed in a large, red sweatshirt that appeared to be several sizes too big for her...might have been Alex's, you never know, and a pair of black jeans.

The pair flinched as they heard a rather loud thud from inside the house...someone must've fallen or something. Slowly, Enoh's red gaze met Vidya's white one, both giving eachother a look that basically said 'Maybe we shouldn't have come today?'...however, that thought was cut short as a familiar dog answered the door, and both sets of eyes focused on him this time.
"Hello Liam, nice to see you again!" The shifter greeted pleasantly, her gaze shifting towards the voice of another kid...from Enoh's point of view, she could see a resemblence to both Nio's nephew, Alex, and Eight herself...that meant this girl had to me Shauna, right? But didn't Eight say Shauna was just a baby? Then again, Vidya was a baby not to long ago, as well.
"Hello!" Vidya chirped, fighting off the urge to call him 'Dog Boy' like she had when she was a toddler. Granted, she didn't know his name back then, but for some reason, it stuck (perhaps its the fact he IS a dog, maybe?). Like her mother, her white eyes, including her blind left eye, flickered towards Shauna, and, like when she was a toddler, she was examining this new girl for things that she liked. Having decided, Vidya hopped through the door and decided to tell the girl what she thought. "Hey-lo Shauna! I'm Viddy...er, Vidya! You have really pretty hair...and braids! I have braids too! Feathers..." she paused for a moment, admiring the feathers the girl was wearing. "Very pretty feathers."
Enoh was glad to see that she was right about Shauna, and also about how Vidya still kept up with the whole...telling people what she liked about their appearance from the start thing. Some things really never change, do they? "Hello Shauna, I'm Enoh...nice to meet you." The shifter waved at Shauna slowly, but sad to say her attention was on Liam. His reaction was almost depressed when he realized Samira wasn't there, and upon this realization, Enoh's lips curled into a mischevious smile. So THAT must've been Samira's plan...smart girl! Nonchalantly, the very pregnant sidestepped both girls so she could stand near Liam and slide her shoes off.
"She's waiting at the park." The shifter whispered softly. Perhaps the way she worded it was meddling on her part...but that was something she couldn't help. Liam seemed to make Samira happy, even when the girl got depressed about her inability to sew like she used to. Besides, they were so cute! Having meddled enough, Enoh promptly shifted her attenion towards Eight, resting one hand on her own full belly, and using the other to wave at her friend. "Hello Eight! Long time no see!"

Shauna blinked, a bit taken aback by the sudden energy in the blue girl's voice. Wow! "Uh, thanks! My friend Asra said I'd get bigger and...I did~! Your hair's pretty...ooh, are those wings?" The fox blinked, glancing over at her mother when she heard a sliding noise. Eight had hopped onto the banister to slide down the rest of the way to the bottom, not even bothering to take her hands out of the pocket of her sweater. What the?! "Heeeey! How come you can do that but I can't?!" Shauna whined, pouting and glaring at Eight. The halfling shrugged.
"Do as I say, not as I do. Besides, if I break a leg or something it won't hurt too much and I'll be all better in a few hours, if you break something it'll hurt a lot and take forever to heal." The halfling answered simply, smiling brightly as she slid across the tile floor to Enoh. Have to love socks! "Yo...uh, hey...where're you going?" Eight blinked, peering around Enoh as Liam suddenly reached for his jacket. He didn't usually go out so suddenly like this...unless he'd been planning on leaving anyway, he looked way too excited to just be going out to buy some sewing materials.
"Huh? Oh, going out to the park, needed some fresh air y'know?" And out the door he went, throwing his jacket on after he'd went outside and immediately heading for the park...in a little of a hurry, if one watched him close enough.
"O...kay..." She glanced to Enoh with a raised brow. "Samira?"
Shauna had tuned the others out ages ago, having rolled her eyes at Eight's answer to her question and gestured for Vidya to follow her. "You like feathers~? That's cool. Yours are so pretty! I wish I had pretty wings like yours! Or Faye's...or Daddy's...heeeey, wait...does everyone have pretty feathered wings but me?" Well, obviously not since neither of their mothers had feathers.

Vidya beamed at the compliments, about to answer when a familiar name popped into the conversation. "Asra?" Vidya parroted, staring wide-eyed at the girl. She knew Asra? Maybe this girl was LIKE Asra! Which was cool...and it was happily noted that the girl wore clothes, unlike her brother. "You know Asra?! He's my brother!" Vidya's arms went flying into the air, a happy, eyeless grin lighting her face. It was unheard of to NOT know Asra it seemed. The nymph's gaze followed that of the fox, blinking at the sight. "Thats okay, I'm not allowed to slide down the banister either. Daddy is though!" She almost complained. Almost. Do as I say, not as I do? That sounded SO familiar...Vidya giggled softly.
Enoh's crimson eyes lit up mischeviously once more, upon seeing Liam hurry out the door. The same manner of twisted smile crawled onto her lips...they'd be free to flirt whenever they wanted, as long as she wouldn't become a grandmother again...What with Zhamai having twin girls, and Mieke having a twin set of boy and girl. Four grandkids were enough. "Yep, Samira...I was wondering why she went to the park instead of coming with us. Now I understand." The shifter laughed, shaking her head. "Hello Eight." There was a tone of sarcasm to her voice...and it made sense, since Eight didn't actually say hello.
Vidya was lost as to what Enoh and Eight were talking about...not that it mattered at all, since she had Shauna to keep her attention! The fox was fairly good at it too, and having feathers really did help her case. Naturally, the tale followed as she was beckoned, leaving her sandals at the front door as she went. "I love feathers! But not everyone has feathers...Asra doesn't have feathers. Or My Momma. Or Your Momma...but My Captain has enough feathers for ALL of them combined!" She mused, tapping her fingers against her bottom lip in thought. Finally, she realized she was being led somewhere. "Where're we going?"
Meanwhile, Samira sat on one of the swings in the park, slowly rocking back and forth. She was looking down at the pebbles under her feet, snuggled warmly in her own green jacket.

Now where was she...? Liam looked around quietly, both black ears perked up as he listened for Samira. It was fairly obvious how much he loved seeing her, so seeing her alone was definitely a plus. One ear flicked over in the direction the sound of the swing was coming from, his excited expression softening as he snuck quietly over to the girl from behind. If she didn't hear him, and God did he hope she didn't, Liam would wrap his arms around Sam from behind as he kissed the base of her ears, resting his head between them afterwards with a content sigh. "You look so cute sitting on this swing, you know that?"
"I see. That's so cute, I wish Alex would do that for me~!" Eight sighed, putting a hand on her cheek and shaking her head. She wasn't really bothered...but it was still a sweet gesture. Eight blinked, pouting a bit and shrugging her shoulders enough to force the next of the sweatshirt up so she could make it look like her head was trying to hide in it. "I already said hello~! You old people are so old fashioned!" The halfing drawled, rolling her eyes a bit to add emphasis to her teasing. Eight wasn't a grandmother yet, and the girl found the thought of becoming one somewhat silly. She was only seventeen! Speaking of children...well...they weren't really talking about children, but that's not the point! "How're you~? And the baby, of course. Want something to drink? Ooor eat? When does that craving for strange foods kick in?" Her mother would always joke of how she always wanted certain types of food, so one day she just...mixed them all together.
"Um...how about...my room! We can play with stuff in there!" Shauna smiled, pausing when Vidya's words about Asra finally registered in her head. She was Asra's sister?! Lucky! "Woooow! You live with him! That's so cool! I wanna see him again sometime, he hasn't seen me like this yet!" The fox looked down at herself with a grin, opening the door to her room. It was obvious she'd had help decorating it, and that it was fairly new, for the room was still neat and orderly...although Shauna planned on fixing that problem soon. There was a dream catcher hanging over her bed with feathers similar to the ones on her head, and a cat plushie sitting on the newly made bed...Eight had been in here to clean it up, obviously.
"My Daddy has big purple wings, I wish I had wings like his~! He said he'd take me flying one day...your captain? Who's that?" Shauna sat indian style on her head, watching Vidya curiously for an answer. A captain? Like...the captain on a ship? Or the captain of a cheerleading team? She had no idea how insulted the captain in question would be if they heard that.

Samira was off in her own little world, therefore she was blind to Liam's approach. One of her ears twitched at one point, though that was because the wind tickled the fur. The girl squeaked in surprise, suddenly feeling a warm pair of arms wrap around her from behind, not to mention the ticklish kiss to the base of her ear. After that, once she relaxed, she knew who it was before he even spoke. "Liaaam~" Samira playfully complained, pausing before continuing in the same tone. "Don't scare me like that!" Releasing the chains of the swing, she instead rested her gloved hands on his arms, her ears flattening as to not suddenly smack his face should the wind tickle them again. "I do now.." She shyly giggled, leaning back against him slightly. She knew Enoh would say where she was...and she had to admit there was a guilty pleasure in being able to see him alone, without shrieking children or giggling parents around...
"You're so warm.." The dog idly commented, closing her eyes and snuggling back against him.
"You did? Ah, I didn't hear it, I was playing devious matchmaker.." Enoh then paused for a moment, staring at Eight at her comment about being old. Then, looking like a whiny kid, the shifter's voice pitched into that of complaint. "I'm not oooold~ I'm only two years older than you!" I think, Enoh added mentally. The shifter had no idea how old she was, but Nineteen sounded nice. Pouting almost playfully now, she stepped inside. "The baby's good, I'm fine aside from getting kicked...But water sounds good right now!" Speaking of getting kicked...Enoh's face contorted into a flinch for a moment, and the woman stood still for a second or two before shaking her head. "Speaking of which..." Before the little one calmed down in her stomach, the shifter grabbed Eight's hand and placed it over the area, which was receiving its last couple kicks before calming down again. "Feels kinda neat, huh?" She giggled.
"Cravings...I had a craving for mushrooms and cheesecake yesterday..." She admitted with a giggle, releasing Eight's hand. "There was a craving for Saourcraut before that. I really don't like that stuff." Making a disgusted face, she lightly tapped her belly, urging it to calm down.
"Oh! That sounds like fun!" Vidya came to a soft stop behind Shauna, waiting for the door to this new room to open. "Well...He's my brother, but he's always at the Benedict Centre...well, thats what Daddy says anyway! So I don't really get to see him as much as I want to." The tale peered around the fox to see into the room, gasping happily at the sight. It was so much CLEANER then her room! Then again, she shared a room with Adonis and Harmony still...so between the three of them, 'clean' was hardly a commonly used term. Especially since Halloween caused pieces of bloody garments and face paints to litter the room. "Your room is so pretty! Whats that?" She asked curiously, pointing at the dreamcatcher in the corner. She'd never seen one of those before!
"Wings? Donny has wings! Donny's my brother, by the way...we're both Tales! Anyway, Donny and my Captain both have wings, but I've never gone flying...I don't wanna ask them to take me either, I think that'd be rude." She smiled sheepishly, hopping up to sit on Shauna's bed, letting her legs fall over the edge. "That's Tybalt...He's a Pirate Captain! I'm his first mate." She smiled proudly, nodding.

"Aw, I'm sorry...not even on Halloween?" He murmured, grinning deviously as he nuzzled his face into Sam's hair. One, ungloved hand held hers, rubbing at the back of Samira's hand with his thumb. "You're already wearing gloves? It's not that cold, is it?" He tried to sound disgusted...really, he did, but he couldn't. Liam closed his eyes, squeezing Samira gently before slipping one arm free to tilt her head back to give her a soft kiss.
"I'm warm? Hm...want me to push you for a little bit? Since you're sitting on this swing and all, it only seems appropriate." He shrugged.
Eight smirked, stuffing her hands into the pocket of the sweatshirt. "I noticed...although you're a bit late, he's liked her from the beginning, I think." The halfling blinked, almost surprised at the complaint...Enoh was only nineteen?! "...Wait, wouldn't nineteen be one year? I turn eighteen December eighth...or do you mean you're twenty?" She looked just a bit confused all of a sudden, having always considered math her least favorite subject...at least she got that riddle right on her first try.
She was never going to let herself forget about that stupid 'G'.
Eight had taken a step to lead Enoh into the kitchen, but her hand was taken and pressed to the woman's large stomach before she had a chance to do anything else. Her eyes widened a bit at the feeling, gasping softly when the baby kicked a second and third time and stopped. "Wow. I've never felt a baby before...that felt really cool..." She paused, looking up at Enoh with a 'What the hell, woman?' look that most teenagers could be famous for. She sure hoped she didn't mean mushrooms and cheesecake together! That was just gross.
"Ick, always hated Saourcraut...I don't think we even have any...you're free to raid the fridge while you're here." Eight smiled, leading Enoh to the kitchen and grabbing two glasses.
So Asra was always at the center! That gave Shauna the upper hand, she could surprise him sometime! At the question for her dream catcher, Shauna smiled and stood on her bed for a moment to take the dream catcher off its hook, flopping down next to Vidya again and holding it up. "It's a dream catcher! It's supposed to protect you from having bad dreams! I've had nothing but good dreams so far since I grew up! I can't remember who gave it to me..." She shrugged, offering it to Vidya if she wanted to hold it.
"...A Tale? Like a story? ...Ooh! You're a pirate? That sounds cool! Have you gone on any sort of big adventures yet?"

"Its not halloween yet..." Samira playfully reminded him, her ears flicking a little bit as he nuzzled into her hair. At the mention of her gloves, the dog looked down at them, blushing softly at his mock-disgust. "I have bad hands, remember..? The cold bothers them too...I didn't want to risk having to go home because of them." She gasped softly as her head was tilted back, staring at him for a moment before she returned that soft kiss; she didn't have any idea how hard kissing upside down was! But at the same time...it felt nice. Then again, all of his kisses felt nice. The dog giggled girlishly at the thought.
"You don't have to...but if you want to thats okay." She kept her head back so she could watch him, rather than the empty park infront of her. Samira didn't want to impose, even if he did ask her first.
"I figured...but I wasn't there when they met for the first time...I ended up picking Samira and 'Konstantinos' -" Enoh laughed at the name the dog boy gave himself. "- a day after that. I got caught up in something." She admitted, though her kitsune ears gave a shy twitch before nestling back into her shoulder-length, scruffy black hair. "No I meant I'll Nineteen this year...in December" Or so she just decided. It was fun being able to decide your own age! The shifter had decided that December 19th was her birthday, since thats the earliest date she can remember.
"Its really amazing the first time you feel it! I'm pretty sure it gets more annoying the farther along you are...but its still pretty awesome to me!" She giggled once more, purring softly and tubbing her belly after she released Eight's hand. At the 'What the hell, woman?' look, Enoh held up her hands in a 'I'm SO not kidding!' move. "Me too, its disgusting...but thats what I wanted, and it'll be the only time I'll ever say I remotely enjoyed it. But ahh...I won't raid your fridge, no worries...but thank you for the offer!"
"Oh really? Thats AWESOME! Its so pretty too..." Vidya breathed out in admiration, gently accepting the dream catcher as it was offered to her, lightly trailing her fingers over the web designs in the centre. "How does it do that, though? What if it gets the good dreams by accident?" She queried, leaning her head to the side and eyeing the other girl with extreme curiousity. It would most definately suck to get a faulty dream catcher, that much was certain.
"Sort off...I came from a really old tome in a Stationary Store...and everyone else is calling people like me 'Tall Tales', so I figured thats what I am. I think its like a story, but I really can't say for sure." She mused. If she really was a story, what story could she possibly have come from? Vidya didn't recall being part of any big story...all she really knew was what she learned from her 'birth' to now, plus a few little dreams on the way. "Yes, I'm a pirate!" Her heritage now forgotten in her mind, she puffed up proudly once more. "We had out first big adventure when we were toddlers! I almost got eaten by a chupacabra..." The tale giggled; she was oddly proud of that adventure. "When I grew up we went on another but uh...I learned I'm a little bit afraid of heights, sooo...I'd rather not talk about that one." ((Mainly because that RP isn't finished yet. e.e)) She admitted with a rather sheepish smile.

Liam grinned. "But it will be soon, and I just want to know for future reference." He murmured quietly, gently rubbing at Samira's hands after her comment about not wanting to leave. Aw, the poor girl; Liam was still curious about why they were so weak...now wasn't the right time to ask. He left a few more small kisses on the girl's lips before standing up straight again, raising a brow in curious interest. She'd been giggling...had he done something funny? Leaning down to slip his arms under hers, Liam leaned down again to nuzzle his face into her neck, sighing against it. "And what, my dear, is so funny it makes you giggle?" He had to admit it sounded kind of cute.
As for pushing her on the swing. "Eh, I did want to...I think I'll just settle for holding you right now." He murmured into her neck, giving Samira a gentle squeeze.
"Konstanwhat?" She vaguely wondered what Enoh was caught up in, but decided the woman would have told her if it was important enough. Her headwings perked when Enoh mentioned the month of her birthday, gasping softly. Another December! "Really? What day?" Everything was eights with...Eight. She always happened to look at a clock when there was an eight somewhere in the time, she was born on the eighth of December, and...other reasons she didn't feel like thinking about. The halfling filled one glass with water and put some ice in it, offering it to Enoh before filling the other glass with soda for herself.
"Aw, maybe it won't get annoying to you? ...Unless it kicks you in the lungs or something, they can do that can't they? They're upside down after all..." Eight shrugged to herself, having clearly never been pregnant, so she really had no idea what it was like. Her mother would always jokingly complain about it. She took a sip of her drink and looked up at Enoh with a smile, opening the freezer to grab a box of pizza bagels. She was hungry! "It's okay, really. Have to have enough food in here to feed eleven people, we have more than enough for you to munch on if you get hungry." She chirped, putting her glass down to put some of the bagels on a little tray and put it in the oven.
Shauna smiled proudly, happy to see Vidya so interested in her Dream Catcher. She blinked, surprised by the question...no one had ever asked her that before. "Wow, that's a good question! See how the threads are set up? It's like a spider's web! That little hole in the middle is where the good dreams go through, while the bad dreams get tangled up like a bug in the rest of the thread. See, there's an old legend about an indian woman who watched a spider weave his web every day, and one day her grandson came and tried to kill the spider! She stopped him, and the spider thanked her for it after the grandson left. He said he'd give her a gift for admiring his work, so then he went back to his web and started spinning another one, telling her to watch and learn how he spun his web! There're many other versions, I think, but I haven't heard them enough." The fox grinned, nudging at a plushie by her foot. "I can make you one sometime if you want!"
She listened quietly while Vidya explained to her what a Tall Tale was, blinking. Well that was interesting! It made her wonder where she came from; all she knew was that Asra had given her to Eight, so she didn't actually come from her mother like most children, but she had no memory of before she was given to her mother...maybe she'd ask Asra sometime. Maybe she came from a tome too? The subject soon changed, and Shauna let the topic die off for now. "A chupacabra? Wow! Were you scared?" Of course she was scared! Who wouldn't be scared of being almost eaten? But it was something she just had to ask.((Reference of the legend was found from here http://www.soultones.com/dream.html Warning: BRIGHT GREEN text against a black background, you may want sunglasses. x.x))

"I guess halloween gives you an excuse but..." Samira paused a bit, looking rather sheepish, if not embarassed. "...blood makes me squeemish, just so you know." She admitted in a small voice, her ears burying themselves into her green hair. The dog smiled softly as she returned the remaining soft kisses, keeping her head back to she could watch him; and was naturally met with his curious stare. When he wrapped her arms around her again, her head lowered back to normal, and she found herself blushing again. "...O-oh nevermind..." Lifting her hands, she rested them contently on his arms once more.
"You know...I like that idea better, somehow." She half-teased, her way of getting him back for making her blush. Leaning her head slightly towards his, she gave him a slight nuzzle (well, as best as she could, considering), her tail wagging slowly, contently.
"Konstantinos. His adoption papers say 'Tino', though...Samira told me he just made it up. That boy is so weird...he can say the strangest things, and you wouldn't know if he was joking or not! To top it off, he haggled with me for ownership of the shed out back...apparently he wants to turn it into his room." Enoh laughed, shaking her head. Obviously that boy was nothing but pure dog! The shifter noticed the soft gasp of the other, and she leaned her head to the side curiously. "The Nineteenth, why? Is your birthday in December as well? Thank you!" Enoh took the glass offered to her, taking a small sip of it before cradling it between her hands.
"You know...I don't know if they can. I know they push up on the lungs...or rather, they push up on your other organs which in turn pushes the lungs, which makes pregnant people out of breath often...Ack, I digress!" She paused for a moment, and then continued once more. "All in all, I have no idea. Maybe, but it hasn't happened to me yet." She shook her head, then stared down at her glass...wondering if she could balance it on her belly. However, this was a thought she didn't entertain...well, here at least. She made a mental note of trying it when she got home. Enoh hadn't balanced ANYTHING on her belly yet! Iva exluded, because Iva had no choice, since thats the way the baby liked to sit even before Enoh started to show her pregnancy. "Thanks for the offer! We'll see if I take you up on that." Obviously she changed her mind...who knew what'd happen between now and when they left?
"By the way, how's Alex?"
Oooh, so THATS how a dream catcher worked! Vidya moved her white eyes from Shauna and back to the dream catcher, looking at it with a soft breath of wonder at the story. After hearing about why the webs were they way they were, she held the catcher by the edges, not wanting to touch the webs incase she knocked some bad dreams from it. She'd never forgive herself if she accidentally gave her new friend bad dreams! "Oh, thats so cool! I'd really like that Shauna, thank you! What would you like in return?" Obviously, Vidya wasn't one to just get something without giving something in return! She liked giving presents as much as she liked to receive them.
"As for the Chupacabra...Yeah, it was really scary! All we saw where these big glowing red eyes and this really gross deep breathing...I think I was most scared when my Captain got his claws stuck in the ground. Thats why it came after me, 'cause I was trying to get it away from my Captain!" But then Enoh and Inle turned on the light and the creature disappeared under the dark stairs. Then they got grounded for three weeks...but Shauna didn't have to know that! Instead, she thought of a way to change the subject... "Have you ever gone on an adventure?" Somehow, she felt the need to ask.

...Crap. "I'll have to keep that in mind, looks like I'll have to take part of my costume off when I see you." He murmured into her neck, giving it a small kiss. So she liked this idea better, did she? ...Liam really didn't, his legs were starting to ache from having to bend his knees ever so slightly so he was level with Samira enough to hug her like this. Damn this swing, and damn the manufacturers who made the swing this low. The dog moved a hand down to pet at Sam's side, lifting his head a little to look around. "Want to go sit someone? Standing like this is starting to hurt my legs." And he was rather sure neither of them would be happy if he couldn't walk tomorrow because his legs were sore.
Eight rolled her eyes, snickering softly at Enoh's explaination of who Konstantinos was. How weird. "...How did he manage to get your shed?" She asked, raising a brow. Eight really was curious, how did one lose ownership to a shed? When the topic of her birthday came up for the brief moment, Eight nodded happily. She'd already said her birthday was the eighth. "The eighth!"
The half demon couldn't help but put an arm over her chest, having a bad habit of almost feeling the pain in question when someone was talking about it. Her headwing perked up a little bit at the sudden pause, looking up with a concerned frown. "You okay?" She smiled softly. "It'll be a long time before I ever have to worry about being pregnant, I suppose~" Eight said with a sigh, finally setting a timer for the pizza bagels so they didn't get burned. The girl giggled softly. "A misunderstanding about children led up to Alex first kissing me, you know." She put a hand over her mouth to hide the smirk, having always found that memory cute.
"He's fine, I haven't seen him lately though." Eight pouted childishly. "The last time he came and visited...Shauna was still a baby, maybe I should go visit him soon...amazingly enough it's kind of boring without him around, y'know? That, in itself, is a major feat because...I have a lot of company here." She shrugged, taking another sip of her drink. It really was kind of lonely, damn did she really wish he could just move in. "But you don't wanna hear me ramble about Alex, do you? I could go on forever."
"Okay! It'll be great!" Shauna blinked, glancing at Vidya. What did she want in return? Well, she wasn't really expecting anything in return for a dream catcher! It was just going to be a gift to a new friend! But um...hm...what did she want? "Um...well...surprise me! You don't have to give me anything though!"
Shauna listened with undivided interest as Vidya moved on to tell her about the Chupacabra, holding her dream catcher carefully. "Whoa! So it was like the kind you see on the tv in movies? You must really like your captain if you'd risk your life for him! He has claws?" The fox paused, chewing on her lip thoughtfully. Had she ever gone on an adventure? Well...there was that glowing light with Asra and Elle...but did that count as an adventure? She could barely remember it...and then there was the time she was gone for...she hadn't been on any adventures yet! "...No, but maybe I will someday!"

Okay, now Samira felt guilty. "N-no! You don't have to...I'll just...try not to let it bother me." She assured him, though a soft giggle escaped her lips when he kissed her neck, her head tilting to press against his a little bit more. At the mention of sitting elsewhere, she looked around the park, then nodded. "Of course! If you're hurting, lets move now!" Pulling herself lightly out of his arms, she stood up and off of the swing, taking another look around before scooting back to stand beside him. "...Any idea where?" She asked quietly, reaching over to slide her gloved hand inside of his.
"it didn't take much convincing, I let him use the shed...not like we were using it all the time anyway." Enoh laughed, shaking her head. "Though I suppose I should ask him to pay rent, since he haggled me for the ownership of it. Luckily I have a normal Tahnee dog who stays inside the house." She was, naturally, referring to Samira. When Eight repeated the date for her, the shifter gave her an 'Oooh, thats right!' look, obviously having missed that part earlier. "Fun coincidence, eh?"
Her kitsune ears twitched curiously from her electric purple hair as Eight looked like she were having sympathetic pains. "Oh yeah, I'm fine...just can't strain myself. ...Are you alright, though?" She heard of twins having sympathetic pains, she's heard of the husbands having some form of sympathetic pains...but never of friends having sympathetic pains. This was new. "Well, you never know! I once said I wasn't gonna get pregnant...but then I got married, and well...here we are!" Pausing at the first kiss comment, the shifter's eyes then seemed to sparkle with amusement. "God, that must run in the family...that wasn't our first kiss, but a month or two after we first met, Nio saw plans for a babyshower and thought they were for me...even though we hadn't had sex yet." She was laughing fondly now, remembering that fun incident...she was half asleep when he was trying to pry that information out of her...silly cabbit!
"Ah, I completely understand...maybe you should bug him and make him live here! It wasn't hard convincing Nio to come live with me. He was practically at my house everyday since we met anyway." She raised the back of her hand to her lips, biting back another girlish giggle. GOD how she loved girltime with Eight! "Ramble all you want dear, I can definately do the same for Nio."
"I wanna get you something anyway." Vidya decided, nodding her head firmly. There was no way this fox girl was going to get out of it! Nope, Nope, Nevaaaar! "Surprise? Okay, I can do that! Now I just have to think..." Thinking'll come later, as Shauna started talking again!
"I do like him! He's my best friend." The tale smiled happily, resting her hands on her lap and twiddling her thumbs...which was a fairly new habit to the girl. Nodding at the mention of claws, she felt the need to explain. "Yeah, he kinda looks like a human parrot...so he's got all these pretty red, yellow and blue feathers all over him, and really big bird claws." Obviously, Vidya didn't realize that might be a little strange. He'd always been that way, so she never bothered to think twice! "Well...how about you and I go on an adventure someday Shauna? That'd be really really cool!" Her fists pumped at her sides, obviously really excited about the idea.
She looked as if she were about to say something more, but then her eyes strayed to Shauna's decorative feathers, and changed her mind. "Where'd you get your feathers?" She asked curiously.
