Well yeah bassoons and oboes also go in our pit or battery too. But just 'cause they have double reeded instruments. Its a tad bit expensive to replace them reeds.

Our oboes either play symbols or they are the twirler.
Our Bassons play tennor sax or tuba or clarinet.

I've heard of yall, but I don't know much about Clements =( sorry! chi anthro For our band trip this year we went to mustang island by corpus christi. We went a couple of weeks ago. But while we were there we went and competed in the South Coast Music Festival. It was alot like our UIL contest. Our top band (which I'm in) got a 1, while our symphonic band got a 2. But they still sounded good! Our songs all totaled up to about 18 1/2 minutes of playing! Where does everyone else go on their band trips, that is if anyone goes? haha! my band went to corpus too! and competed in the same competition! our top band got 2nd to haltom and the sym 2 got first in their division. my band (the second band) got a 2, but we played hard music so we were fine with it.
