Selene's eyes were wide and startled as she saw the destruction of the Kawani camp. "Oh, no..." she whispered, and galloped quickly towards the village, foregoing the air. She could remember the beauty of the totems, the teepees so close together, the people and animals moving happily through the village... who could have done something like this?!

Tehya was leaving the village, having been there with Citlalli the night before. She met Selene halfway there and whirled, running with her little sister. "The two-leggers are alright, and most of the Soquili are too." the brown mare reported. "Two injured, according to rumor, but I haven't gotten to see them. The Princess was apparently woken up by a coyote, and thought it was her Soquili."

Selene snorted, launching herself into the air, wings flapping worriedly. "I'll go see what I can find out." she told Tehya. "Take care, sister. If you hear anything, run for the village. Don't be alone, stay with someone!"

Tehya nodded. "Brave, not stupid!" she called to the flutter, who laughed and hurried towards the village. Tehya twirled again and went for their teepee. Citlalli had expressed interest in staying near the village to Tehya, and the mare wanted everything to be as ready as SHE could do for the move.

Selene landed in the village, looking for Tehya's two-legger. The flutter found the redhead easily. She whickered a greeting, accepting the carrot offered. Now, what news? She glanced around, looking for a soquili she knew.

Respectful? Elder? Oyohusa had never heard these words in so long... especially said to him. What sort of place was this? He felt so at home the way people exchaged caring glances with him. A part of him hoped he wasn't the one who had ravaged this village but another part wished it was. He was like Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde.. two halves.. one evil.

Oyohusa grimiced and sunk down low into a seating position with a bowed head. "Please leave me be. I'm not worthy to be called such words by you.. I'm a wretched old man in need of nourishment.." he replied.

Heartless smirked and giggled to herself as she watched all of them panic. She saw Rot approach the two-leggers and bow. Raising a brow, she wondered what he was doing but... she didn't say anything. This really was too entertaining for her. Even though the Kalona were evil, why would they destroy their own grounds? This place was so nice...

"I dont know, but everyone seems to beleave this old man might be our culprit. I have to make sure before I get him the heck out of her. If he is the true demon he will be an aid in my conquest." Sgina let go of a wicked smile.

"The Cheif is he alright?" Degewi asked to Myoa.
"Myoa come with me please, I do not wish to leave you, but I wish to protect the cheif." He said ears flicking as he located the Cheif and ran to his side pressing his nose agasint the chief's arm in hopes he had found the right two legger.

Rötschreck did not understand the words but he did understand the expression that he saw in the two leggers eyes. He took a few steps back and lowered his head again in another bow.

Glamrock appeared behind Rot, galloping over to the group as she had heard the news of what happened from the animals that were frightened senseless. When she heard that some soquilis had been injured, she rushed over without a stop for breath!

The wise and elegant unicorn lowered herself beside the injured mare. She hated attempting this act in front of the two-leggers because she had seen the greed come over them in the past.. in the old herd she and Chaos were a part off... eventually her kind had been hunted and killed for their horn. But she trusted the Kawani tribe. They seemed to have pure hearts, at least most of them.

She wasn't sure if she would even be able to help. She didn't know what kind of damage was done or what kind of magic might be at work here, but she lowered her horn to rest nearby the wound and she closed her eyes and willed deep within her, trying to call forth the healing magic she knew she rarely used.

"I know..." she breathed. She was scared out of her wits, and it was awkward to have the older girl acting like this. She trembled, about to collaspe. She never had the best of health, but she knew she was going to stick this through for her friends.

Myoa spotted Aruna. "I..do not know. Only that a great evil has been here." She could not hide the tremor in her own voice, and admired Aruna for acting so brave. "But for now, I'm going with Degewi..he's right, the chief needs protection. Come if you wish." With this, she ran off, following Degewi to the chief's side.

As more people approached, Arwentia watched with wide eyes. There was accusation, and fear, in their features. Perhaps she was simply not as perceptive as them, perhaps it was because she was a bit stupid, but she believed in giving this man the benefit of the doubt. "Everyone!" she called out in her high, girl's voice. "Please, let the man speak. Maybe he can help us." She doubted anyone would listen... but at least the old man had. "Any elder is worthy of respect by me. That is the way I was taught." Inclining her head, Arwentia dug around in her night pouch, picking out a piece of still salvagable bread. "I'm afraid this is all we can offer you now good older." She glanced once more at his coyote skin. "Perhaps we can get you some real clothes though. Where did you get such a dreadful object anyway?"
