Brayden recalled the Pupitar with a smile, "Good work, Khai," he nodded, as he withdrew his partner and took a closer glance at his newest charge.
"Toorchic!" came the pleased response from the small bird as she contentedly took up a napping spot on the inside of Brayden's vest.
"Uh, that's mine," he commented, but the small fire type was already sound asleep.
"....I seem to be attracting Torchic lately," he commented to no one in particular, seeing as the Torchic certainly wasn't listening, and there wasn't really anyone else around.
"Ah well, suppose I might as well let her tag along for a while," he murmured, shrugging as he stretched, biting back a yawn.

Taking out a spare Pokeball, Brayden opened it, calling the Torchic inside. Suprisingly, again, the ball allowed the capture, signalling that it didn't belong to anyone else.
"Strange..." he murmured. "Buncha stray Torchic running around lately. Ah well, suppose I'll call you Suzaku," he shrugged. The name seemed to fit, especially since something wasn't quite right about her coloring. He decided to leave that up for investigation for another day, or at least, when it was light out and he didn't feel like he'd be falling asleep on his feet.
Which was pretty much where he was headed if he didn't set up camp soon.

Transporting the new Torchic to his pc, Brayden yawned again, barely able to keep his eyes open as he continued onward. Making his way a bit southward, he let out Gin'iro after a bit, as the Nintetails tracked where Kaya and Nona had gone. He saw the tents, smiling to himself in recognition, as he found himself a spot under one of the nearby trees, Gin'iro curling up next to him for warmth as the two dozed off soon after.

"...So, what do you make of them?" Sylam asked Artemis quietly, since the two were just on the outskirts of the camp the friends had made. Following Brayden back to the others had proved a simple task for him, however for now he remained on the side as they slept, unsure as to their intentions as of yet.
Artemis glanced to the tents, then to Brayden, who was still apparently dozing at the base of a tree. The Glaceon looked back up to Sylam in turn, pausing for a moment, before nodding silently.
"You're sure?" Sylam inquired, only earning a derisive sniff from the Glaceon as Artemis rolled his eyes.
"Alright, alright, fine, if you 'say' so," Sylam chuckled, before remaining by the edge of camp. He sat while he waited for the group to awaken, hoping that it was in his best judgment to do so.

Sylam looked up, hearing the voices of the Pokemon, although he couldn't understand what they were saying. Artemis was already looking that way silently, making Sylam wonder if the Glaceon had been staring at the tents all night. He certainly didn't seem to have anything better to do with his time?
"You certainly are a strange one," Sylam sighed, shaking his head slightly as Artemis continued his silent vigil.
He supposed there was nothing really they could do until morning, which, as he took a glance eastward down the coast, shouldn't be too far away.
It would be simple really, he'd wait for them to wake up, ask them kindly for their names (it was only polite that he offer his first, right?), then explain his predicament and ask for their help. Simple right?
Apparently fate had other ideas, as a sudden crack of a twig breaking broke Sylam's rambling thoughts. Artemis immediately was up on his feet, back arched and ears flat against his skull, a complete 180 from his seemingly apathetic demeanor a split second before.
Sylam stood as well, peering into the underbrush cautiously as he heard the sound of a muffled curse, and a whispered argument coming from a few meters away.
It didn't take long for Sylam to determine their intent, as the surrounding area suddenly burst into a flurry of activity, as a flock of formerly sleeping Wingull took to startled flight as a host of shouts rang through the clearing.

"Don't let them get away!" an Aqua admin shouted to his men, motioning the group forward. They had gotten the report from Lavendar a bit late, but it wasn't too hard to match up the descriptions of the group who had interfered with Team Rocket's plans. Especially if there was a reward offered... that seemed to get the entirety of Team Aqua to work together rather swiftly.
