ChaoticIntervention Wow I was reli bord so I read ALL of these... WOW I have been through some minorly embaressing things like all of that. But you guys.. WOW! You know like leaks at school and once I flashed this guy I know in my class Heh that was fun!!! Okay yeah but never anything major. But hey may as well go for it. I first got my period the day before XMas this one that just happened... so I moaned and groaned sick all night on the 23rd, then on the 24th I was vomitting and crying from the pain, while I had my period. I didn't tell anyone. It happened that my mum and sis were both also on theirs. (LUCKY!!!) So I just stole some pads for safe keeping. Also do to the fact that we get themaround the same time... I started using tampons b4 most grlz. I use them like allof the time now. I can't stand pads. Plus I love to swim!!! So now for all of the people who said somethign that had todo with their period and the inability to swim... Why not just use a tampon? It makes sense doesn't it? No offence just curious! yeh but i only use them for swimming and they hurt like hell 1st time of putting them in crying

Well my most embarressing period moment was just after me, my cousin, her mum and the mums boyfriend returned from a holiday interstate. My aunts boyfriend at the time was about 60 or so.
I just got out of the shower and heard someone enter the toilet next door, so I turned the fan back on (usually turn off when I get out of the shower) so that whoever was in the toilet would hear and know that someone was in the shower.
So thinking this, I was drying my self off and then bent over and was putting a pad on my undies (still had no other clothes on at this time).
My aunts boyfriend walked in on me during this, took one look at me, then down at me applying a pad to my undies, looked me in the eyes and quickly shut the door.
It was really embarressing then because I was only 14 or 15 and I only really got to know my aunty's boyfriend in the past week beforehand.

Well it wasn't like a period thing or anything but I was making out with my now ex boyfriend and I hadn't been feeling very good that day but I didn't let him know other wise he would've wanted me to stay home and feel better we were in the movie theatre and we were making out and then bam...all of a sudden I got the worst acidy burp in my entire life it was disgustingly horrific. I was so embarrassed i blushed for the entire night he said it was fine but I know it was gross for him too. so when he tried to kiss me again I turned my head away but he turned my head towards him and kissed me....so apparently he didn't mind but I was SOOOOOO embarrassed it's not even funny

Nikolita I was always too nervous when I tried to insert a tampon, so I just gave up and didn't bother anymore. Plus tampons can put you at risk for TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome) if you leave them in for too long. I just think pads are easier. And when I go swimming, or when I have a bath, my period stops anyways for as long as I'm in the water. So I didn't need to use a tampon to go swimming anyways. Now, I'm on Depo, so I don't get my period anymore anyways. xd blaugh Yay for birth control. Umm..that whole period stopping thing when you are in water is so not true lol it is just clear when you are in the water like as soon as the blood hits the air its red I have noticed this when I take showers and such when on my period 3nodding I just hope that doesn't freak you out lol

I've never heard of blood turning clear, but ok? I know when I get out of the water, I don't have my period, because I don't start bleeding again right away, which is why I said it stopped while I am in water.

Blood is either blue or red. Blue inside the body, and as soon as it's exposed to oxygen it turns red. So theoretically if you're in water it should be red. I think with water it's something to do with a different pressure, so maybe that's what it is.

I have my story:
I was at my boyfriend's house, sleeping in his bed. I'd been feeling like utter s**t at the time, and he told me I was welcome to sleep in his bed. I was on my period that day also. While I was sleeping, he was playing my Nintendo 64 that I'd brought over. I'd been sleeping for like 10 minutes, when I got this HUGE bout of cramps. They were so intense, that I wimpered, and curled into a ball. He turned around and looked at me, and shrugged. I was in pain, but not entirely awake, so I was unconsciously rolling around, wimpering. He finally asked his mom what to do, and she grabbed my hoody, that was on the floor. Out of the pocket dropped two or three tampons that I had on me. She explained the situation to him, and he laughed. We haven't spoken of this since.

Ok. I got my period when I was 9 and a half- which totally sucked. Years later in 7th grade, I was kinda really irregular and could not predict when I would get my period at all. So anyways Im in class with my best friend at the time and all the sudden it hits- all I could think of was oh no! crap! I was going to go to the dispenser in the girls bathroom to get a pad but I didnt have any change at all. I asked my friend and she didnt have any- at this point Im like- oh no! As I'm sitting there wondering what the heck I'm going to do, my friend casually goes up and asks the teacher for change because I need to get pads. eek redface redface redface redface OMG I could have killed her! Worst part is that the teacher didnt have change either and asked the entire class if they had change! redface

Violetgirl just reminded me of something.
I was in my junior year of highschool and it was around final time. So, I was extremely stressed, which caused my period to come three days early. I was totally unprepared for it. So, after one of my classes, I asked the teacher if she had any spare feminem products that I could get from her. (Of course this was after everyone had left and it was now her planning period.. no one was there but us.)
She was really young and couldn't have been more than 24 or 25 and she was very easy to talk to. Just one of those teachers that all of us wish we could have for every class. She smiled and we went to her desk. She pulled a pad out of her bag and when she gave it to me a huge spider flung out of the pad.
We both looked at it bug eyed and we both about screamed. Upon closer examination it was one of those halloween spider rings. Apparently one of the children in her neighberhood gave it to her as a gift back in halloween.
"That's so weird. I've been looking everywhere for that!"
We both burst into laughter and for the rest of the year (about a week or so.), everytime we'd see eachother we'd mention "Spider."
