Cosplaying in public is really funny. ^^ I've done it plenty of times.. I cosplay, almost everytime I go shopping on "Stroeget" (a danish shopping-area in Copenhagen), and I also cosplay everytime I go to some event, if its anime-convention or not. At D3 (The 1st game-convention in Denmark, held this year), I cosplayed a female ninja. The only thing I didnt have was a shuriken and kunai and such, but well.. I had bandage all around my left eye (Im blind on my left eye, so I didnt mind xD), a black huge scarf that I used as a ninjamask, and.. O.o.. Evil eyes. A tv-channel even got over and interviewed me because I was "the most noticed person on the whole convention", even more noticed than the maskot who walked around on the convention. *Proud* But well, I just love the fact people look at you and comment you when you cosplay in public.. its so funny and awesome. XD

Cosplaying in public is just down right entertaining! The weird looks always remind me of one things.... This one time my friend cosplayed as a Gundom in public. We whent to this 8 story building and sadly enough he couldn't fit in the elevator XD The look on some of the peoples faces when he tried was the funniest thing I'd ever seen!

That Gundam thing reminds me of a dog walking around with a really big stick and can't get through a door. XD I like wearing my bunny ears and goth loli clothing while playing Time Crisis, *sighs dreamily* They got the 4th installment. First person shooter games rock.

i like to cosplay in public....people always stare to me when i'm just wearing my regular clothes so why not.
i really like to cosplay at the mall and get pictures. the costuming groups around my area have goteen together for 2 yrs in a row now and gotten a picture with santa. i went to try and do it this year and one of my friends was denied by this meanie santa stressed because he was dressed "too gothicly"...and all he was really wearing was an organizational like coat rolleyes
and on christmas eve me and 2 other girls dressed in lolita style clothing and got together to take pictures at the mall and the landing. the people at the local mall were such a pain. stressed always coming up to us and asking us why we were dressed that way. each time we gave the people a different answer. xp and then i got the commit yelled at me, "will you be my maid?" stressed but ice skating at the landing in cosplay was very cool. 3nodding
i have a cosplay bowling party planed for this friday. whee

Hm... I cant say I've done an official Cosplay before in public but once me and a group of friends from my drama class had to go shopping for props for our skit in drama class(a vamp theme) so we all dressed up like those kids who think they're GothicVampires... It was hilarious.
Me+another girl+two guys... I had a spiked collar on but my friend Ghandi (his nickname) had on this collar with two inch spikes on and a metal link dog leash that I walked him on... then eventually just hooked to my saddle bag. It was hilarious because we got some looks before the leash was whipped out then after that I swear EVERYONE looked. One of the best times that day was when my friend John lead us into Abercrombie and said EXTRA loud, "There's a lot of asians in here!" (there were) and we left. We went to victoria secret and tryed to get Ghandi to try on panties and had atleast half adozen people try to sneak thru us and get stuck by the leash. We ended the day with me and the other girl having a "Drag race" Piggy-back styledown a stretch of the mall on the guys. I think we got called Satan and Freak but I thought it was hilarious cause we don't normally dress like that.

Someone lent me their armor once, and I wore it to a DnD campaign, but we ran out of food so I went out to Safeway to get stuff. But I kept wondering why people were giving we weird looks... I forgot I was wearing leather armor with chain mail and everything.

i WAS PART OF A GROUP IN CALIFORNIA THAT DID THIS!!! We met a few times a month and went out. we'd go to the mall, a park, a party, etc in Cosplay. It was SOOO much fun. Incendentally, I'm starting a Froup in my State (washington state) that will do the same thing. Interested people should PM me about it if you're from western washington...
Cosplay outside the conventions ROCKSSS

The only way to break free is to break the mold...
Cosplayed for Halloween, got some interesting looks from it. XD Going to wear my Naruto jacket on the 15th to celebrate the new episodes coming for Part II..
Other then that, not really! Although while at cons, we often go out to eat... And don't even bother to change. XD ...You can't stop now, rock and roll!

I always cosplay. I dress up as L at least once a week. I wear my ninja shoes and headband time to time. I also dress up as Misa Amane, with tons of compliments. ^_^ Everytime I dress up everyone thinks it's cute... maybe it's because I look like a little kid. *pinches chubby cheeks*
EDIT: For Halloween I was Itachi, and it was hilarious. One girl stopped in the middle of the stairs, dropped her books and screamed to her friends, "OMG OMG OMG!! I JUST SAW F**KIN ITACHI!!! *fangirl squeal and jump*" That made me happy for the rest of the day. Then a bunch of freshmen came up to me and said they were my fanclub. ^_^

I haven't done an anime cosplay in public but one time after my town's Christmas parade I went to Burger King for lunch. I was in the parade dancing with my dancing company and our theme was the song" Ice Ice Baby" so we wore all white with white acdessories and while I was eating I got some strange looks which just made me laugh.

Okay, so, today was Club Day at m school, so to advertise, my InuYasha group got all dressed up. We decided to go on a food run, and a guy in line at Togo's asked out Kagome if there was a convention in town. xd
I think the best part was on the way to school though. I was sitting on a bus by myself and this girl (age 13-16) asked me, "Are you InuYasha? That' one of my favorites!" heart
