But Pala did hear the footsteps. She quickly turned around, and smiled at the new person. And the fishes in the tank she was holding yet again started swimming furiously in circles. Poor fishies D: "Wow! Another new face! Welcome, my name is Pala'olan!" The girl smiled even more cheerfully. "Are you a regular here? Or are you also new? I just arrived here a moment ago. What's your name?" Even more smiling. Seriously, that's scary D:

He really was being very silent, wasn't he? It was a bit of a shocker for him, to be sure, though with all the new students that day, could he be blamed? Another bite and more silence fell around him as the girls chattered away, but the fox-boy's voice caught his attention, a blink before he grinned when the other spoke his name.
"Camlan? That's a neat name, nice to meet you!" He couldn't help but feel an almost guilt for how he chose now to speak with the male and had remained quiet with the girls. Was it intimidating, all the females that started to show up now? A little, he'd admit to that, he wasn't used to so many different species in such little time, so to find at least some common ground with someone, even if only through gender at this point, well... it was a relief.
Did that make him a bad person, though?
Sudden whirls and beeps and clicks from Jin made him jump, head whirling about to watch the orb zip around his head before darting off down the hall, past the feline girl -she didn't say her name yet, did she?- and into the white of the hall. "J-Jin! Jin, come back!" he called, alarm rich in his voice as he starting in a rushed pace after the droid. He'd yet to see the droid run off in such a manor, and beyond the small distances to see new people this was the farthest the droid'd ever flew away before. In short, the human boy was rather perplexed and even going on frightened by the strange behavior. "Jin! Why did you-"
He needn't finish his question as a laughing figure walked into view, cyan eyes glinting in greeting and joy as the silver orb bounced around the approaching teen. The ten year-old blinked a few times, glancing back towards the others to ensure he was seeing straight. Why was... she here?
"Kailey?"
"Edan! Yo! Glad to see you and Jin are doing well, and you've been accepted into the temple! Awesome." The Knight grinned to her sponsoring child as she walked towards him, ruffling his hair whilst turning him around to join her as she continued on towards the group of gathered children. Blue eyes bright, she scanned them over with a mildly interested appreciation, clicking her tongue as she did so.
"So, you lot were also accepted? Huh, interesting mix. Which group is this? Jedi, or Sith? Though, wait, kiddo, weren't you aiming to be a Jedi?" She turned to the boy beside her who promptly nodded vigorously and once more she returned her gaze to the others. "So you're all Jedi? What are you doing here, though? Shouldn't you be training or something?"
Her brisk wording was edged sharply with an attempt at authority, if only heavily muffled and broken by the occasional laughter as Jin still danced around her like a child. Although her short height made most of the students already close to being the same size as her, the eighteen year-old still felt little need to "assert" herself beyond the little vocal display. Even that feel short due to her lack of... well, caring. Let the younglings think what they would of her, if they didn't respect her, she'd just whip their butts in training later on. At least, that's what her mindless thinking seemed to summarize. Arms crossed loosely at her middle, she stood patently to see which kid would speak up first.
Definitely an interesting bunch, though. Reminded her of Tatooine -more specifically, the cantinas.
Edan himself was currently in a state of shell shock. Why was his sponsor here of all places? Was everything alright? Had he done something wrong? Or was it just a really, really weird coincidence?
He was really hoping it was the later.
"Um... well, training wise, I guess some of us should be doing the second lesson but... a lot of kids are just arriving now so..." Her gaze was back on him, eyebrow raised in question. He gave her a sheepish grin and shrug. It was starting to get a little awkward standing next to her...

"Of course I can take off the blindfold..." Anastasia said quietly, as she sunk out of the conversation. She just listened. There wasn't really anything better to do. Well, she could go to her room, but she already knew where that was, and it was even more of a bore there.
Then that Edan kid's guardian arrived. Or whatever she was. She was talking about choosing a side... Anastasia wondered which side she would choose, and she figured she better choose quickly, considering all these other children already knew their alignment.
Not to mention that they should be training...
Or something.
Observing the conversation, emotion, and reactions around her, Anastasia weighed the two options. On one side, there was the Jedi. They were the 'good' side, and most likely helped the empire. And then on the other side, there was the Sith. They, opposite to Jedis, were the 'bad' side, most likely hurting the empire.
For one, Anastasia didn't know much about the empire. Nor did she care. But, apparently, it did come into play in this decision. She figured that she should start caring. Even then, she couldn't decide. With her thoughts in a jumble, she decided to ask for help. "Excuse me," she requested, frowning, "But I'm a bit confused on which side to choose and how to do so." Very impulsive, especially for the shy girl.
Anastasia tried to remember what her mother had told her about the Jedis and the Siths, but, for all she was worth, she couldn't think of it. She did recall that her mother had a pure hatred for one side, and rather liked the other. Though neither of her parents had really ever cared. It wasn't until they were murdered that Anastasia had thought she would have to be trained to fight on one of the sides. Even though every person in her race used the force, she didn't know many people who actually were Jedis or Siths.
While it was odd, the girl found it even odder that she was chosen to come here. Out of every orphan in her race, or even on the planet, she was chosen to be sponsered. Why? What she didn't know was that she had a bit stronger of a feel for the force than the adverage person (at least in her race). And even without this knowledge, she reasoned that being here was better than being in an orphanage.

Braith's hope of not being notice were shattered as a red skinned girl turned in her direction with a bowl full of fish whom were probably disgruntled with their sloshing water. Braith's tail nervously tightened around her right leg as she listened to the wordsspurted off at her. So much at once! This girl certainly had quite a bit of energy. That smile of Pala'olan was enough though to help ease Braith's nerves a little. "Um, I just got here today too. I am Braith." She smiled uneasily.
Now, Braith may have been able to slowly relax with her peers but the appearance of a rather older and extrmely loud and energetic woman caused Braith to want to curl up in on herself again. In truth, Braith wasn't a very fearful girl, just extremely shy. She wasn't one for trusting others. It would certainly take a little work before the Farghul would confide anything of any important into anyone but once that trust was earned it was something that would be hard to break. Braith just needed to warm up to people, once that was complete she'd be able to act at least somewhat normally around everyone. For not though her mind was screaming caution and her body and instincts were happy to oblidge.
Jedi or Sith? Braith had yet to decide which was better suited for her. Eriop and her sponsor had explained the differences to her but how could she choose when she barely knew herself. Well, she knew herself but what if she chose the wrong one? Braith didn't like making mistakes but she had the feeling that time was beginning to run out for her decision making.

"Nice to meet you, Braith! I'm sure we'll be good friends, just wait and see!" Pala grinned happily, leaning closer to the Farghul girl. "Wow, you're so pretty, too! And shiny!" The arrival of the adult jedi definetely caught Pala's attention. One of the fishes almost flew out of the water when she once again turned around, staring at her with awe. "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!" ...were there really sparkles in her eyes? "A real jedi woman! How cool! Are you for real? Are you a teacher here? How long are you a jedi? Do you think we will too? Because I'm not sure, it seems so difficult.... Wow, how awesome...!" ...this kid definetely should learn when to shut up.

So they hadn't all picked, and weren't all Jedi. A strange fact, considering her past experiences with temples had sides separated and new Hopefuls fully aware of their chosen paths. Ah well, times change. And this temple was pretty screwy, anyways, so it really shouldn't be a big shock this took place.
The short teen only grinned to Anastasia, taking her Miraluka appearance only in basic passing. Blindfold. Mmkay, whatever, not the weirdest thing in the universe. Her statement, though, did seem pretty odd to her, as shown but her nonchalant shrug.
"Well, don't look to me for answers on that, kiddo. You pick the side you feel is the best for you and you can succeed with. Jedi, or Sith. I'd offer my advice but... well, the Sith don't really seem as blood-thirsty and power-hungry as they once were, at least not that old man who's the Sith Master. Jedi still seem the same though," she added as an after thought, tapping her chin as her mind slowly inched off to ponder such thoughts.
"Don't most Miraluka follow teachings similar to the Jedi's, though? I would think that's where your morals would lie. Or... have things changed for your race, too?" The comment was light, tone more thoughtful than meant to be taken harshly. Of course, the girl rarely seemed to consider how her comments would be taken by the recipients after her initial wording and tone.
She openly jumped, though, when Pala's rush of questions bashed through her ears. "Eh...? Well, aren't you the hyperactive Lethan? Ch, yeah, I'm real. I'm kind of a teacher -I'm more here to just watch you guys and help out in your training if needed, I just don't "teach" you like the Masters do. And I was a Jedi long enough to know what's what, and more than long enough to know how to handle kids learning to be Jedi or Sith.
And do I think you'll... what? Become Jedi and Sith? Well, yeah, I can see it happenin'... so long as you at least learn how to calm down and keep your questions to a minimum," she laughed, shaking her head with features alight with the growing grin. This girl's joy was infectious. "Not that I'm saying energy and curiosity ain't good, you just need to learn how to use them to your advantage. Which is what you're hear to learn, among other things. So, if you've got trouble and the Master's aren't any help, I'm hear to make learning that stuff less difficult, got it?"
It was an interesting concept for her, but an entertaining one nonetheless. And... kind of exciting.

"Yes, ma'am!" The girl quickly nodded, trying to calm herself down...but it was so difficult! How can she calm down, when there's a real, living jedi in front of her? That grandpa who picked her up doesn't count! "I'm sorry! But...this is all so exciting! I just went through the door a minute ago, and wham! So much is happening! I can only run around and....." Suddenly, the realisation strucked her. "...Present...?" She quickly raised her fish tank, and looked at it worringly. "...Present, are you all alright...?" The fish were still swimming in circles furiously, definetely not in the best mood. And few of them were already really tired of this. They were rare, priceless fish, goddammit! They shouldn't be treated like this by a stupid, immature child!!! "Nooooo!" Pala yelped, seeing the definetely angered fish... And making false assumptions, as always. "Present! Present, are you alright?! Oh, I'm so sorry! I should've go looking for my room first!" She quickly located a table, put the fish tank on it, and started looking for fish food in her bag. Bribery can take you high, mother always said.

Kailey couldn't help but the pride-boost when the girl already took her advice to heart. It wasn't very often she got that sort of respect, and it was pretty nice. Okay, she could get used to this.
"Well, try walkin' not runnin', mmkay? Ya gotta learn to control all that energy, so doing little things like that is a good way to start till you can focus it on other stuff. And if you're running around so much, chances are you're gonna miss some pretty cool stuff you would have seen if you'd just taken your time and walked and took the sights in."
Okay, a bit too close to "old and wise" for her tastes but... hey, if it worked, it worked. And it was the best wording she could think of off the top of her head, so... eh, whatever.
New topic!
"'Present'? You named your fish 'Present'? Correction... fishes." She followed the girl a step or two, watching her over reacting with the fishes. "Who gave them to you? Look pretty pricey."

"Well...they were a present...And I'm not really that good in naming..." Pala finally dug to the container with fish food, opened it, and threw a large portion of it to the fish tank, almost making the poor fishies swim in food instead of water. Definetely no practice with animals. "I'm really sorry..you will forgive me, yes? yes?" ...and the fishes were practically begging for more water x.x... The girl turned her head away from the tank, and again smiledat the jedi woman. "My sponsor gave them to me when we met. He said they will cheer me up when I'm sad. But they aren't much cheerful. Pretty quiet, instead. But I still like them, they have cute siny scale things." Smilesmile. Smile. Followed by some more smiling.

Camlan had slowly started to back away from the group. He did not like loud noises or loud groups; in fact, Camlan preferred silence over chatter. His golden eyes stared at the Jedi woman in front of him and he listened intetly as she spoke. What if she said something important...
He startled when the one called Pala started yelling at her fish. Embaressed, he hel onto his tail and looked over at Edan shrugging. What were they going to do? He knew that he was going to be a Jedi. Lady Naree would not have it any other way.
Moving closer to Edan, he nudged him slightly. "Are we going to eat something more soon? Or maybe we can go to our rooms to train? I don't like standing here..."

Maki looked around with confusion on her pale features. It was almost like she was in shock and horror, and she didn't know what to do. Everyone had entered so quickly, and some lady Jedi was here as now. She was so tall, and looked very mean for Maki's point of view. It was as if she could simple go there, and force everyone to do anything that she wanted. And that Maki didn't like at all.
Taking a step backwards, Maki felt suddely confused. There was just to many people for her to take, and when she heard the word training she nodded. "I'ma going to train. I'll see you later Edan and Jin. And... If someone wants to practice some training with me... feel free to meet me either in my room or the court yard. I've just wanted to leave... to many people." She said simple to them as she turned to the Jedi woman.
"Bai." She said simple to them, as she hurried out of the room. Why was she being so shy? She really didn't know.. Only just didn't want there to be so many people around her.

Kailey only 'huh'ed and blinked to Pala's explanation of her fishes' name and shrugged. Ah well, wasn't her concern, so whatever. "Things from home cheer people up, just thinkin' about where they're from and who gave them the gift. I think that's what your sponsor was trying to get at. Plus, shinny things are fun, especially in the right lighting." The teen's smile was a reflection of the kid's, though one that was quickly blinked out and replaced with a blank -and rather confused- expression.
The purple-haired girl's sudden words and actions confused her to no end, rubbing her head as it was cocked to the side as she questioned lightly, "Huh, wonder what her problem is. Was it somethin' I said?"
"Ah, um... okay, Maki... See you later," he called after the suddenly shy girl, cheery smile shadowed with eyes filled with concern and questions. Was it his sponsor? Not that he would completely blame the girl, he himself was becoming rather unease with her around without just reasoning, but still... he'd just have to talk to her later was all. He guessed.
Feeling a small nudge at his side, he looked over to be greeted by golden eyes and the words of the fox-boy. Edan's normal smile was back in no time, nodding in confirmation. "We can go train, if you'd like. I'm full from just the fruit, though if you'd like to grab some more before we go, that's fine. I know what you mean though, it sure got crowded fast..." His voice trailed off as he looked around one last time before giving Camlan another smile and starting down the hallway the same way Maki had. "I guess we could just head to the Courtyard then, that sound okay to you? See you later Kailey, we're going to go train. I guess Jin's going to come with us," he added when the dark droid zipped around his head as he walked. Did cheer him up to see Jin was still hanging around him despite his previous owner's appearance.

Pael approached the group, in a bit of a huff but overall merry. Kako had babied him SO much when she sent him off! He could manage on his own, he was strong! He had to admit, the specific directions she had given him were helpful but everything else was unneeded. Confidently, he tapped the first youngling he approached on the shoulder. "Hello," he said to the girl, who appeared to be carrying some sort of fish with her, "I'm Pael Kor."

"Thank you, miss!" The girl smiled yet again to the jedi, and smiled the rest of the fish food back to her bag. She should probably get the tank to her room and- Feeling the touch on her shoulder, Pala's attention suddenly shifted from her fishes to the newcomer boy. At least this one didn't seem to be too shy. Good to know. "Nice to meet you!" She quickly nodded, smiling towards him. "And my name's Pala'olan. I'm kinda new here, easy to guess. So are you?" The last part being obviously a question. Not that good at guessing, was she.

"I've just arrived," Pael responds, smiling lightly and nodding. "It's good to meet you, Pala." His attention shifts to the fish, "Woah..." he comments, losing some of his formal attitude in fascination, "Those fish look really cool."
