Tifa = TEH WIN. I've always liked this girl,e ver since I first played. She seems almost real with all her insecurities and vulnerability but she still remains optomistic and tries to get the best out of what life has given her. She's also great with children, is a loyal friend and comrade, and can kick some serious arse if need be.

It hasn't been mentioned that Lulu and Rikku are of the black mage class and thief class, respectively. Their forte doesn't rely on hand-to-hand combat.

Tifa, on the other hand, is a monk, therefore a frontline fighter. Her outfit is appropriate as a barmaid but not so much as a member of AVALANCHE. Of course, everyone will have their own interpretation of THAT.

But all of this is just a far cry from the point I've been trying to prove.

Incidentally, I never said her outfit was slutty. confused

Tifa's clothes are made to suit her figure, environment, as well as battle. In battle, as you know, she has greater freedom in movement. And it just looks nicer than pants....which Nomura was considering. Other females' outfits reveal just as much as she does, and even more. (Lulu, Selphie, Rikku, Yuna, Ultimecia, etc...)

Ah yes......but we were talking about her in the game in how people deemed it inappropriate or slutty. Of course Nomura changed her clothes....I'm sure he heard of the complaints made by people who that she looked like a "slut".

Yes, though other girls have the "just for show", but can you say that Tifa's clothes are for show just like them since she's a frontal fighter? stare

stare You're quite stubborn aren't you? You may criticize Tifa's outfit, but she isn't the only one who's wearing something not fit for battle. Take Aeris for example. Not many people can fight in a dress and she has a rod! Though she is mostly a white mage, she does possess some fighting ability in which her clothes contradicts. She didn't HAVE to wear that. Tifa didn't HAVE to wear the skirt. They wore it because it suits them, period.
