The hymen is a thin membrane that is somewhere around the vaginal opening. Most females are born with them, but some women don't have them. Others break them through methods not related to sex.

As for where it is at the vaginal opening, I'm not sure. There's a picture of it in the Sex Education 101 sticky (the picture is linked). If that fails, ask a parent, talk to a doctor, or look it up online.

I looked in the stickies and stuff, but I couldn't find anything on average p***s thickness. Just length. So...um...what is it, do you know? gonk I'm er, small, and I'm just wondering. (It is probably going to hurt a lot my first time. gonk )

Right, you get condoms yeah.

But what if you only have one and it just happens to be an extra thin one, well what are the chances of it splitting?

I don't know. Try looking it up online or asking a doctor. I just know that some people have reported the thinner ones breaking, so you just need to be careful with them. If you're worried that it's going to break, us a normal-thickness one.

My boyfriend and I are trying to be careful about sex. I'm on the pill but I would like it if we used condoms to, but he seems to be larger than all the condoms we've tried, it was hard just to get them on him. Also he says that he really can't feel anything when he is wearing a condom, so instead I added the contraceptive sponge. I was wondering is it possible that he really can't feel the same sensations with a condom on then without?

It's pretty well-known that using a condom dulls the sensation for the guy. It's probably one of the reason that "thinner" condoms are available, in such brands as Kimono, etc. I think there's a list in the Condom Sticky (Sex and Birth Control Subforums).

It's better to use a condom than the contraceptive sponge, in my opinion, because condoms are more effective. If you look in the Birth Control Sticky, the effectiveness rating for the contraceptive sponge isn't very high. sweatdrop

If he's really big, you can ask a pharmacist if they have any bigger sizes than the ones offered. Or, go to a condom store (I know Vancouver has one) and see what they have. Or even an adult store, because they carry condoms too.

Hey, sorry if this has been asked before (I could've sworn there was info on this in one of the stickies, but I just can't find it)

Um, my brothers said that you can tell how much a girl is "blown out" if she's wearing like tight pants and gets...Uh, camel toe. I don't think this is true...But my general questions are: Is it true that your vaginal opening gets stretched out permanently the more times you have sex, and is it true that you can tell how stretched out someone is just by looking at their crotch when they wear tight pants?

neutral (Sorry, I've never heard of that before. Weird.)

So basically, no it's not possible to tell how "blown out" someone is if they're wearing tight pants. The v****a is internal, and it's not possible to tell what someone's v****a and uterus is like just by looking at them in certain clothing.

Urbandictionary.com gives these definitions for camel toe:

Quote:
A very aesthetically pleasing phenomenon, whereby a woman's venus mound is clearly discernable under the snug fabric of her lower garment. Typically, the fuller the labia, the more pleasing the effect. Tip: since sexual arousal causes increased blood flow to the genital region "toe" may be enhanced if she finds you desirable smile

Quote:
Camel Toe: A vaginal wedgie("vedgie" ), most commonly caused by tight pants that work their way into the crevices of the vaginia making a shape that clearly resembles a camel's toe.

Leading me to your next question. No, your vaginal opening and v****a doesn't get permanently stretched out if you have lots of sex. The v****a is made to stretch when it's aroused and lubricated. After sex, it returns to its un-aroused state of being.

Wearing a condom during sex is supposed to help decrease sensation and help the guy last longer. There are also some types of condoms (I think Trojan or Durex has one of these) which have a special sort of lubricant in them that helps prolong sex and thus delay ejaculation.

The other thing you can try is practicing during masturbation, if you masturbate. Just masturbate until you can feel yourself getting close to orgasm/ejaculation, and then stop. Letting it subside a bit, and then keep going. Every time you get close, slow down and wait for the sensation to wind down a bit before continuing. This way you get feel what it's like when you're close to ejaculating, you can recognize it, and then concentrate on holding back or something else (apparently picturing something unattractive/unappealing during sex helps reduce a guy's sex drive during sex wink ) until you're ready to orgasm.

Sorry if that made no sense, I have a hard time explaining things sometimes. whee
