"Oh." Kokushi said as he saw his friend, walking towards him "Do you know where the two packs I brought in are?" he asked, glancing around to see if anyone was around "It seems everything isn't off to such a smooth start.." he also remarked, looking back the way he had come away from teh two fueding friends.

"Easy enough for you to say, Kai." Dante thought walking towards the c**k-pit. "But if all things were as simple as the past is the past... You think Darth Malak would have been told to just carry on with his life after he told them he was sorry? no. He would have been stripped of his connection to the force and handed to the republic to serve his sentance."

"But again... thats why you are a Sentinal and I am a guardian. we see things differently." he said alloud as he ran a finger down the open panel to the c**k pit. "And your bags are in that pannel" he shouted back to Kokushi, waving a force toting hand in the direction, and opening it.

The door slid open and he stepped inside. "I apologise for interupting," Dante said, bowing his head slightly as he entered. "Cole, Triskal." he said in greeting. "I was wondering how long you think it will be until we arrive over Naboo."

The room didn't feel right. There were too many objects, or they were too fancy or something, but Kida was having a hard time concentrating. Blame it on the furnishings.

Kida stood up and stretched. She remembered the room she had left Triskal in. Hopefully the poor girl had found Kokushi by now and they were working things out. At least that much should happen.

Kida left the room, retracing her steps back to where they were before. The room was larger, but it didn't have all the fancy things about and she could freely swing a lightsaber without hoping she didn't break some rare antique. Quietly, she put her hand out to one side. Her light saber flew up to greet it, turning on instantly. Kida closed her eyes, listening only to the soft hum and stretching out through the force around her.

Then, melodically, she began swinging about, as if fighting an invisible enemy.

"There are consequences to actions, that is true, but that is not in the past but the future."

Standing slowly, his lightsaber ceasing its rotations, Kai caught the weapon and seperated the two hilts. The locking mechanism required dexterity to both lock and unlock, dexterity like its owner had and knew how to use to solve the 'puzzle'.

"I'm going to go find Kida."

"I take no side in this argument, I believe you are both wrong and both right at the same time. It's for you two to sort out amongst yourselves."

Moving at a quick walk, Kai had no problems recognising Kida's presence in the Force and soon found her behind a closed door. Not stupid enough to just barge in, nor was he totally missing manners, the Jedi knocked on the door instead.

"It's not locked and no one's changing." Kida spun around, stepping carefully over a misplaced wire. Her eyes were still closed, and she moved swiftly about as if nothing was in her foot path. Her training had improved, yes she still felt silly practicing by herself without any droids. She brought her feet together and stood up properly.

Opening the door, Kai stepped through into the room Kida had been training in and immediately moved to the side and out of the way. It seemed like she had stopped, or at least paused, her sequence of movements but he had grown fond of his limbs.

"How's it going? This is looking to be a long flight after all..."

"Long flight? Why?" She deactivated her saber and put it back on her belt. "Oh, don't tell me the hyper drive is broken! It will take months to get to Naboo from here!"

Kida leaned back up against a small generator that was in the room. It was grotesque looking, but it didn't collapse under her weight. "I hope you didn't come to ask me how to fix it because I crashed my ship, remember?"

"Days are long enough with the tension in this place. I think Cole and myself are the only ones not having problems with others..."

Folding his arms across his chest, the baggy arms of his new black and white robes allowing him to slip his hands into the opposite sleeve, Kai studied the surrounding area before speaking. His words were slow, deliberate, as if he didn't want to start any arguments.

"We can't afford to have problems, any of us, in our 'ranks'. There are enough people in the universe that wouldn't mind seeing us dead after all."

"Oh, that." Kida shifted slightly. She wasn't exactly sure what to say, probably because she partly had hoped no one else knew what was going on. It was a private matter in her mind after all. But what effected them could effect the mission. She could take responsibility for her actions, but actually correcting them was another thing.

"There's no problem. I'm still adjusting to controlling my emotions and they got a bit out of hand." She shrugged. "I understand, and it won't happen again."

"Please, understand, I don't believe you are wrong. Neither do I believe that my brother is. I feel like a fool saying this but I also felt like it had to be said."

Closing his eyes and yawning slightly, appearing every bit the lazy Human that he liked to be seen as, Kai nodded his head at the hilt of Kida's weapon before he opened his mouth once more. The hints of a grin, a minute lifting of his cheeks and a lopsided angle to his mouth, showed that he was joking.

"Please don't go carving any new doors in this thing either, not sure where Dante got it from but I'd rather not see how sturdy it is."

"If the situation became public knowledge, then you are no way out of place to say anything." Kida shrugged. "Besides, your his brother. You can jump in on his affairs."

Kida tossed the deactivated saber in the air lightly. "I knew he stole it." She grinned.

"What goes on up here," Withdrawing one of his hands from the sleeves of his robes to tap his temple, Kai kept his eyes closed as he then dropped both hands so they hung at his waist. "Is nothing close to public knowledge. If anything, it's more secure than the conversation we're having right now."

Knocking on the wall with his knuckles, as if to test the integrity of the ship, Kai shrugged before half defending his brother. "He says that he was told to take it."

"I don't argue that..." Kida never understood that whole force connection thing, no matter how many times Dante tried to explain it. She left it at that. Probably because she didn't want to know. "Still, if it came to you're attention, you have all the right."

She flinched dramatically as he knocked on the ships walls. "What do I know? Doesn't matter anyway. We have a ship, and as long as the original owner didn't put a bounty out for it, we'll be safe."

"If you say so."

Dropping the point and hoping that the two of them would renew the friendship that had, at times, made Kai feel like the outsider, the Jedi tapped a little harder. Then, just for good measure, he pulled one of his lightsabers from his belt and pointed the blade emmiter at the wall.

"Knowing the Empire, they probably need to fill out a half dozen forms first and get them approved by someone else.

"Yeah, but they probably didn't make the ship completely sturdy." Kida's voice was a little weary, but she didn't move. If he thought he could do it, then she wasn't going to argue.
"Though, I have to admit, I'd appreciate it if you didn't destroy my new found little training area."
