House and Wilson will never get together. I am so sick of that stupid pairing. And the House/Chase one. House is not gay, alright? And do you know how many viewers they'd lose if they made a homosexual pairing? They would never do anything like that, so I don't understand at all why everyone wants House to be gay- and, curiously enough, it's the same girls who are all "House is so freakin' hawt!!11!11" that want him to be gay! I've never understood that- I mean, don't they realize that if he was gay, them daydreaming about him is complete nonsense? House and Wilson are friends, not secret lovers. No wonder television shows never have men who are close friends- for some reason, the fans automatically think they're in love with eachother! And, as for the House/Chase thing - they hate eachother. Not love/hate- HATE. Chase thinks House is a b*****d, House thinks Chase is a scheming little brat. Which he is. Stupid blonde wombat. D<

Okay. I'm a House/Wilson fan, but I'm NOT one of those "OMG House! *drool*" fangirls. And I don't like the pairing because I want to see them make out; I like it because Wilson is the only one I really see as being a decent match for House. If Wilson was a chick, I'd still pair him/her with House. I know they'll probably never get together on the show, so fanfiction is just a bit of AU fun for me. Don't be so mean about it, 'cause you know what? Just thinking about House/Cameron makes me want to vomit, but since plenty of others like it I bite my tongue and DEAL. People need to learn to ******** deal with the different tastes of others.
With that out of my system, I now reveal that I also 'ship Chase/Foreman and Cuddy/Stacy. If people really care that much about why, let me know and I shall babble on about that.

Really, I'll take anything with Foreman. I love him. I also like Foreman/House quite a bit. I've read some really funny Foreman/Wilson, too.
I don't think I've ever read Foreman het. Weird . . .
I have a theory that your favorite 'ship is determined by what episode you see before you go hunting for fanfic for the first time. With me, I got the episode where Foreman and Chase told Cuddy that they had "reservations for two." It stuck in my brain. And that is how I got horrifically addicted to a not-particularly-popular pairing. Woe is me.

I'm sorry, but I just chanced across this thread again, and saw the above comment by Julia Dream.
I think that you are being extremely rude. That was an exceptionally horrible way of approaching the subject of House/Wilson. I thought that was unbelievably mean.
Never once was it said that the creators would put them together, neither am I - as a House/Wilson shipper - deluded that they will. I love the fandom. FAN. I am aware that they wouldn't put a homosexual relationship between the two main characters, because while House is often controversial in it's approach, it isn't that controversial.
Why can't it be accepted that everyone has their ships/likes in the fandom? I'm friends with House/Cuddy and House/Cameron fans. We all get along great, and they accept my ship, and vice versa. We all believe that there is enough subtext to support each ship that could manifest itself.
It's all a matter of personal opinion. While you bring up what is your personal opinion, I do think that you could have approached the subject with a little more tact. You outrightly bashed something that others believe in, which is unbelievably rude.
As for liking House and Wilson as a couple, as MarchingTwinkie said before, it's not about them ... making out, or whatever. It's all about interpretation of their relationship. I also find that Wilson is the only decent match for House.
I'm actually going to leave it there. I'm so angry now, I don't think I'll be able to carry on without saying something stupid.
I'd just appreciate it a little more if you thought about what you were going to say, before you actually said it. Because I found the way you put across your point of view offensive.

I was in a very bad mood when I wrote that. I never meant for it to come out horribly rude. I'm just incredibly sick of two men on a television show being unable to share thoughts with eachother without automatically being taken as a gay couple. And your 'they go together well' theory doesn't explain why people also pair Chase and House, who hate eachother wholly, and Foreman and House, in which Foreman thinks House is an overbearing b*****d, and Foreman and Wilson or Chase and Wilson, who never even talk to eachother in the shows.
But, for the sake of keeping to the actual subject, I've liked the Cameron/Wilson pairing ever since that one episode in which they had a little heart-to-heart about why Wilson cheats on his wives. I also like House/Cuddy quite a bit- I think they've got that sort of tough love (at least on Cuddy's part) thing going on.

I hate the idea of shipping House with anyone: it'd mean he'd be happy. And I love House being his miserable self.
I WAS a Cameron/House shipper in the beginning, but I have since changed my mind entirely. House's little episode in the restoraunt kinda cleared that up for me. House LIKES being miserable, and I LIKE House being miserable.
Although... Chase DOES seem to have a little crush on House. Really. Also the Chase/Cameron thing was brilliant, although I wish Chase would use it against her instead of her using it against him.
Foreman had that thing with the assistant chick, so he's not flaming, just... confused or bi.
I just had an epiphany... you know how Wilson was getting those new ties and stuff in the first season to impress someone and House kept implying he was cheating on his wife, or going to? He was doing it to impress House. How cute. No wonder his wife felt the need to cheat on him too... he's gay!
(I don't really think Wilson's gay, but fanon is far different from canon)
I think if Cuddy wasn't so freaking dumb that she would not be a bad pairing for House. But she's so dumb. Whenever House wants to get something done, Cuddy says no. EVEN THOUGH every time she says "no, House, down boy!" he has been right. She can't learn from her mistakes and it makes me so angry.
In short though, I like my House like I like my meals: single serving.

Whateggs, the stupid writers have to make Cuddy do that because no-one can ever make it easy for House. It's a stupid rut that the plot is in. Anyway. Cuddy has just as frequently supported House in his "crazy notions," as evidenced by the fact that she keeps him employed. I mean, she even made him the director of his department.
The writers just really sucked it up with the women characters for a long, horrible period of time. I really feel like Cameron is improving in leaps and bounds, and Cuddy is practically non-existant nowadays. I love Cuddy.
But yeah, I don't see House in any kind of relationship in the show. Maybe Wilson/Cameron. Or I've always kind of liked the idea of Foreman/Cameron.

He crosses lines, and Cuddy keeps him from going so far he can't go back. I think most of the time she agrees with him on some level, but just can't let him do somethings because she's practically his only restraint. I think House/Cuddy could work / is plausible, and I like House/Wilson. X)
