October Cross Asexual-Slut~Enya I, too, am glad your treatment went well. Though, I can hardly sit when I think about the places you had to have your shot. LOL Yeah, it was not fun, but you know what would have been more painful?! CHILDBIRTH. Qfe. Roflcoptors. But would a medical abortion hurt less? Or...

LOL Yeah, it was not fun, but you know what would have been more painful?! CHILDBIRTH. Qfe. Roflcoptors. But would a medical abortion hurt less? Or... Judging from the way my sister acted during her abortion and the fact that my parents took her to the hospital, she medically aborted. I guess it hurt worse, but she is also an attention whore. I imagine medically aborting is more painful and a harder experience (and messier) also, since all the bleeding is done in the home. @Forgotten Purity: I listed it on the first page, but I used Levron (Oral contraceptive)

It must've been hard, and you were strong to overcome it. It takes courage to make a decision about whether you're ready to be a mother or not. If you feel you made the right deicision, then I'm sure you did. I've thought before that I've been pregnant, and it shook me to the core. You're lucky to have a supportive boyfriend; I think that makes all the difference. Take care.

I saw this late, mainly because I don't follow the guild as closely anymore, though still a big fan. I'm glad you're okay, and that everything went well. And I'm even more surprised that you're from Indiana (as am I, going to Indiana University - Bloomington in 5 weeks). Indiana law dictates that you have to wait 7 days and recieve counselling as well as be told reasons to not have an Abortion, at least so I've read. Did you ever feel like you had a problem, or that this law was unfair? Or did you even feel its influence?
Just wondering the impact of it. Again, glad you're ok.

The law has since been changed, I imagine. Since I was not informed of any reasons to "not" have an abortion. I was informed of health risks associated with abortion and I recieved a small bit of counselling, where mostly, I talked to the nurse about UIDs. The only time I cried was when I felt deeply touched that this group of people work so hard to take care of everyone equally and make them as comfortable as possible. I was read the Indiana Law and 18 hours after reading and signing a paper that I had heard and read it, I was eligible for abortion. It might differ a bit from county to county. (I live about 5 hours from Bloomington! You should come visit me sometime <3!)

MipsyKitten Dear god, that would break me if I had to have one right now. I'd have to tell my mother and ask her for the money sweatdrop Bad thing is, it would be a lot more for me because I'd have to travel a few hours to get to the nearest abortion provider. The place that I went had a sliding scale, and my financial situation was... well, dismal. I ended up paying $15 for my abortion. When a friend of mine found out about that, she donated $1000 to the clinic. It is people like that who made it possible for me. heart

The money goes to helping women, instead of going to people to create more propaganda like 'Those who will not be named'.
