 Tamago carefully made his way around the tree.
"I'm fine." His tail twitched as he spoke. To be honest he wasn't sure himself.

Sai continued on her way with Tamago, Now that she thought about it, his coat didnt look as shiny as she remembered it..did he eat something funky? The forest began to thin. "you know i havent seen BJ since you left either...not that i didnt mind."

Tamago's fur fluffed out at the mention of that name. The creep who tried to put the moves on Sai, and was just arrogant.
"That's a good thing." He spoke through his clenched teeth, trying not to sound too irritated for Sai.
Over the last path the smell of water filled the air. The lake was just at the bottom of the hill. The waters were so calm that it looked like a giant mirror, reflecting the noon sky.

She hadn't relized that she was making Tamago's mood worse. She nodded at his reply, and looked down the sloping hill towards the lake. "We're here really early," She noted. "hey where's Chase?" She looked around for the little gaurdian.

"I don't know." Tamago's ears lowered a bit as he thought of his guardian. Chase was mad and fuming somewhere. As for the lake, he must have miscalculated how long it would get to reach the edge. He looked down at Sai as a small thought entered his mind. He was being rude to her.
His paws begun to drag a bit as he walked on and his head lowered. By now his tail was already tucked between his legs slightly.

Sai let out a contented sigh, "This place is so full of memories, It has to be my most favorite place on the mountain.." She sat down next to Tamago, "Tama-kun?"

Tamago sat down along with Sai and looked up at the midday sky. This was, actually the same spot where they looked at the stars together.
"Hm?" he hummed as he looked down at her.

"Even though today was totally crazy, thus far, im just so happy that you're home and intact." She rested her head on his side.

It was with her words that a sweet smile finally show itself on his troubled face.
"And I'm glad you didn't forget about me..." His ears perked forward as he leaned forward and licked her forehead.
"That you're here now." He cooed in a soothing tone. All three of his tails relaxed and curled around his side.

Sai was finally at complete ease, he was smiling again. "How could I ever forget my hero, my first friend, you mean alot to me."

Tamago let out a sigh. For now he could let his mind rest, rest from the thoughts that had plagued him before. They were not gone though and would have to be dealt with later.
"And you mean a lot to me too." He placd a paw on her head and ruffled her fur a bit before standing up once more.

Sai giggled, straightended her fur and watched Tamago, "Are we off again?"

Tamago nodded and waited for Sai to catch up with him before walking off again.

It wasn't long before the clear lake was in view for the two kistus. The sky reflected perfectly off its calm waters giving the illusion that it was not water, but a window to another world.
Tamago stopped at the top of the hill to look at the surroundings. Not another kistsu was present. They would have the whole place to themselves, for whatever they desire.
