((You easily find the place, using the map provided, and on the way up there, you only see a few ransacked and burned farms, which are ripe and bug infested from the carcasses of animals and people alike. You come into the crypt area on the east, the road runs clear up to an ornate and weathered door. Two mausoliems stand on either side, one is quite large and heavily worn, the other is small, and better preserved. The map is what you see in the immediate area. What do you do?))

I look around, seeing the two crypts. The thoughts of the treasures that could be stashed in these crypts goes through my mind, and the bigger crypt seems as good a place as any to start. "Hey, we should probably check the crypts out. It's not like it would be below a Drow to hide out in crypts. And there could be clues or something as well. Remember, our job isn't just to kill the drow raiders, it's also to figure out why they're suddenly raiding in the first place."

Ugan nods and speaks softly. "Aye, we should proceed with caution, though. Keep a look out for ambushes."

((little side note, I actually remember this part, so, I'm going to try to not metagame, but I'm also going to stay out of things if I find them hard to not metagame. It shouldn't be a problem, and once we pass the crypts, I have no memory of anything else. But, I just wanted to point this out, so if I seem to be not as active while we're here, that's why.))
"Yes, we certainly do. Those Drow could be anywhere. Not to mention, I've definitly heard of crypts being guarded from tresspassers."

Aria looks from one crypt to another. "Which one should we look at first? I'm thinking the smaller one, since it seems more stable."

"the smaller sounds like a good idea too... less drow can fit in at one point... also less corpses and less possible undead..." jamie said

"Now, tell me. Would you rather have a large group of Drow in front of you, or behind you? If there are Drow in the big crypt, then there could be more in there than in the small crypt, that's agreed on. So, would you rather that large group be in front, or behind you? I mean, whatever we choose, we should watch our back. I just wanted to make sure you all take that into account."

"Aye, we probably want to go into tha big one first and have someone protectin' the rear if anyone pops outta the small crypt. I'll protect the rear. I think Krag can take the frontal position when we open the big crypt door."
Krag nods. "Yeah, Krag will do that."

I smirk a bit, listening to everyone form plans. well, this lot seems to be at least a bit more cautious and tactical, perhaps they'll even live a bit longer should we get ambushed.I think to myself, going through my bag for my tools. "Yeah, and I'd probably better check for any traps. Wouldn't want someone going down this early." I walk up to the big crypt's door quietly, searching it for any signs of traps

Ugan standing a good distance away from the two crypts, casts an extended bull's strength spell on Krag ((Krag's temporary strength is now 28 and will be that way for 20 minutes... 120 rounds)). Ugan then blesses the party in the name of Dugmaren Brightmantle, casting an extended bless on the party ((everyone gets +1 morale bonus on attack rolls and saving throws vs. fear for 20 minutes)) and saying "May tha Errant Explorer guide yer attacks and gird yer morale."
He then entreats his deity, saying, "Oh Gleam in tha Eye, let yer inventive spirit devise a guard for this explorer and his friendly orc companion as they go into battle!" He casts shield of faith on Krag and himself ((giving both a +3 deflection bonus to AC for 10 minutes... 60 rounds)).

Nym pulls out his hand crossbow and loads one bolt into it, then slips off of Rizzyn. He points to halfway between the two crypts and then says, "Guard." and waits until Rizzyn obeys then holds the crossbow towards the door to the crypt. ((He waits 25 feet from the door.))

Kyte follows Nym's example, putting an arrow to her bow.
Kria faces the door of the other crypt, ready in case of an ambush.

After casting his spells, Ugan draws his mace and readies his shield. Krag draws his greatsword, the adamantine shining in the light. The big orc walks over to the space between the crypts and readies himself as he faces the door of the larger crypt. Ugan steps over behind him, keeping an eye on the small crypt's door. ((Krag readies an action: If the big crypt's door opens and there's more than three opponents, he's gonna rage. Ugan readies an action: If the small crypt's door opens, he's gonna cast divine favor on himself.))
