Taken aback. He looked at him. "I did." He said looking at him. "One shift was goin to slow. I have Three engineers on each shift along with five technicians, two computer engineers and a scientist. Having one shift and only 7 hrs of work each day wont cut it.. Having two seperate shifts a total of 14 hrs a day is something.... If anything goes wrong someone is there to fix it. I very much doubt a stormtrooper can do anything to fix it. This way work is non stop while the crew is fresh for theier next work. If anything goes wrong in either shift I will do if no one else can." He finished.

All personal understand that the Empire is not paying for theyre time out of their shift... They also understand that anything that they do on their time as of their choosing. Eating, Sleepimg or entertainment... Before these shifts personall were working 14 hours srtaight with a few breaks. Now they are working the same hours aday but get a break that they make rest for the needed time to come back and begin work again fresh.. I am not trying to take your job or make it harder. Im trying to do my job finish it to meet your deadline.. You can wait and seee how the shifts work now... Or you can change it now or demote me and give my place to someone else... But befroe you do os." He gives him a datacard.. "take a look at the advantages the extra shifts give you."

Rayce stepped forward and looked the other man straight in the eye, finished with supervising several technicians working on one of the turrets for a re-fitted Acclimator. "I'll tell you what your damnable shifts are doing, Lieutenant. My men are getting fat and lazy. Sure, they work seven hours without complaint, but the remaining seven they're mostly sitting around doing nothing. As such, the quality of their work has decreased. I can see it in their craftsmanship, which means I have to correct their mistakes. Otherwise the entire system could shutdown, costing us dozens or even hundreds of valuble soldiers. That, Lieutenant, is what your shifts are doing."

Liando looked at the other guy talking to him seeing that his rank was lower than both his and the commanders. "And may I ask who you are?" He said in a cool tone. But continued to smile at him.

"Lieutenant Rayce Alesan. Meaning that I'm the same rank as you, sir. Now, I'm in charge of the technicians here on this planet, since no one else is around to do it. I need them in top form, meaning very little rest except for their work. It's problems that strengthen us and too much rest that erodes us. That's what your shifts are doing."

"Ah... Rayce Alesan. The Wandering Engineer... You have a great reputation.. I respect that.... Lets make a compromise... we can divide the technician between each other. Enogh for me to keep two shifts, Ill deal with what ever laziness they bring in, and enough for you to finnish your work.. That way its a win-win situation." He smiled at him awaiting for his remark.

"Excuse me, sir. But the technicians are under my command, and they reached peak performance following my orders. As it is, I would rather they were not placed under the command of an inept officer where their talents will wither under poor leadership. Thank you for your offer, though."

Now he was pissed off. "Inept officer... I have been working with computers since the age of four. I took a computer aprt and back together in about 2 hours at the age of 6.... I have worked with Kuat Drive Yards alon with Seinar Fleet Systems.. I am also two years older than your self... Do not tell me about leadership. You incopetent fool.. Next time no matter if our rank is the same show your older officer respect." He spat.. "The shift will be changed back to one shift..." He said as he looked back at Elladen. "I will do the job you assighned me to. I will check up with them every two hours untill the shift is over. If anything goes wrong they will have to answer to their lead technician." He saluted to his Commander. "Good night sir." And walked off.

Rayce grinned at Elladan and ran his fingers through his hair. "Terrible temper on that one, sir. You might want to keep an eye on that one. He could be a danger to himself and everyone around him." His grin widened, and a very soft laugh escaped his lips. "So, should I show respect to him even though he's senior? Because I would prefer to only show respect to those worthy of it."

Liando stoped in his tracks. He turned around and looked at Rayce then at Elladen then smiled. He walked back to them. He looked at them and started "Do you remember the planet Kamino had a cloning facility?" He asked. And waited for their response. ((G2G. Gonna watch Deadmans Chest.))

He looked at them and started "Do you remember the planet Kamino had a cloning facility?" He asked. And waited for their response. ((G2G. Gonna watch Deadmans Chest.)) Elladan answered Rayce first. "You can show respect to whomever you want of whichever rank. I wouldn't expect you to respect me if I hadn't earned it."He looked over at Liando. "The Kamino facility was destroyed and dismantled years ago after a rebellion. Why?"
