You will curse the day you did not do... Do I really want to know why that happens? All that the Phantom asked of you...

The greatest thing you will ever learn... We have the guys change outside behind the bus and the girls change on the bus with the window shades down.
It's a tradition each year at our first competition to see how many freshmen we can stuff into the bus bathroom [we have fancy-schmancy tour buses which just rock]. I think we had like 13 people jammed in. Someone's elbow was practically smushing my left boob, and I was pressed very, very tightly into the spot where someone's neck meets their shoulders. Awkward as hell, but funny and worth laughing about later.
It's also a bus game of ours to, when someone says the word sex, or any word relating to sex, like p***s or v****a, everyone has to touch the roof of the bus, the last person to do it has to take off an article of clothing. One guy from Pit ended up in only his boxers, not that I actually did mind at the time. >_>; ...is just to love, and be loved in return.

We have 2 buses. One for the band and one for the drumline/colorguard. But some band people go on the drumline/colorguard bus because there isn't enough room on the other one or their boyfriend/girlfriend is in drumline or colorguard.
At the fist comp of the year, our BD tried to segregate the buses for changing when we got to the comp. It didn't really work, so there was one guy left on the girls bus and he didn't feel like going to the other bus. (by the way: he is a really nice guy who is one of the least perverted people in the band) We girls didn't mind him being on the bus because he promised not to look. But when he got off of the bus, a bunch of guys who were outside said: "I didn't know you were gay!"
Another time when our BD gave up on the segregation thing, I was changing on the drumline/colorguard bus (because my boyfriend is in drumline) and I yelled: "I'M TAKING MY SHIRT OFF!" and the guy next to me was like: "Really?!" Then I took my shirt off. I had another shirt under my other one. The guy next to me said: "Aw man!"

I've never had an experience as bad as the first one posted... in our marching band the girls usually change ON THE BUS (if you're cought outside or on the bus while the oposite sex is in there ur in big trouble) first. Then the boys change. We have to go quick though. One time i was changing and i had my shorts on uunderneath... that were really ugly and too short. Our band directer was yelling at us to hurry up when i realized i couldn't find my pants. x_x I almost had to go outside like that but thank god we found them. (it was really cold out too. but i still think the boys issue would have been worse.)

Chocolate Craving Edit: Oops, I didn't see the other tradition thread, so let's alter this one a little bit... Yeah, my band has some awesome traditions. One involves that seniors go commando underneath their uniforms for their last field tournament. Last time, my junior year, it was raining outside, and we usually change on mats outside of the bus. But, since it was raining, we had to change on the bus, and our chaperones could give a crap if boys are with girls and so on. So there we all are changing on one of the busses together with a temporary little barricade between the two halves, when someone on the girls' side trips and pulls the barricade down with her. Complete silence. Everybody is frozen, eyes staring anywhere but at each other, faces like eek , as one person slowly puts the barricade back up... Another one involves having certain themes for our Tuesday Night Rehearsals. Such themes like: Glitter Night, Goth Night, etc... So, one question to go with my entertaining story: 1) I really need some ideas for TNR themes. Any suggestion is welcome. One night we even had Pimp and Ho Night. sweatdrop -cracks up-
I would have laughed my head off because I'm such a perv. xD

Well, our band has two buses, one for boys and the other for girls. And for competitions we would usually wear our band shirt and mesh shorts with the overall like pants. Then when we get to our destination we put on our jackets and hats. Two buses are necessary because there were...issues...last year on the band bus. I don't know the details because I wasn't in marching band last year but I've heard stories. Even now when we only get one bus, the girls have to sit in the front and boys in the back. It sucks because my two best friends in band are guys so... crying

That title cracked me up. Hehe...naked on the bus...Someone in our band made up a little song that goes, "Naked on the bus, doo doo doo doo, naked on the bus, doodoolooDOO doo doo!" So now my friends and I sing it every time we're on a bus...whether or not it's a band bus. ^^ Plus, every time we're changing our clothes, for band or anything else, we have to Party Boy, band-style. Untis.

We never go naked, but we do have a bus tradition on the boy's changing bus. Whenever we change on the bus, we always play "The ___ is Lava" game. It's really hard to change when the floor is lava, you know!

I'll tell ya more about it after Saturday, cause that's the first time we'll actually change on a bus. But even then, it's only our pants and the guys are gonna be in another bus, on the other side of the parking lot.
(guys in our school/band/universe are pervs...)

Thats kinda gross to go commando under your uniform. They will start to smell like a**, lol. Maybe its because i'm on uniform crew that i hate it when people mess with them gonk because at the end of the day i got to fix it, anyways we have to wear black shorts under our uniform so its okay when we change in front of each other.

at my old school everyone was really really prude-ish. it was uniform try on day and I'm like, i'll just try on my shirt over my tank top in the band room because I don't feel like walking all the way to the bathroom to do the same thing. I started taking off my hoodie and everyone freakd out! I'm like WTF? you can see I'm wearing a tank top!
but at my current school, people change in front of each other all the time. one of the other tuba players walks around shirtless every day. (he's a guy. and he changes his shirt before marching band.) we just don't have a proble being in short shorts and tank top in front of each other and akward situations don't exist. 3nodding
it was hilarious. before the first home game this season, one of the trumpet players was walking around the band room with no pants on and one of the drummers was like, "Alex, just keep your pants off until we march out".
only in marching band.

Since we're required to wear a certain t-shirt and pair of crappy mesh shorts underneath our uniform, there's no real point in going commando for whatever stupid reason. No one will know unless it's brought up that "So-and-so" is going commando.

We all changed on the bus (except for the prude few), but everyone in band had on t-shirts and shorts anyway. One of the trumpets says he has gone commando multiple times tho....
Guard is a different story. One of our captains mooned traffic on the way to competition. rofl There's also a ton of weird situations where the guard has their hands down their pants buttoning the crotch on the leotards. No one told me to get the snap crotch kind, so I had to take off my pants in order to get my leotard on.... sweatdrop
