Chrys and Mizuho, after disposing of the semyosho around them, nodded to each other, and each drew a sort of circle around their nose and mouth. The traced circle and the skin within it glowed lavender, and then stopped glowing, leaving a purple substance that looked like paint, which served as a gas mask. It looked strange, but if it worked, then so be it.
As Mizuho flew over to Kagome to observe their progress, Chrys dived off the cliff and landed near the bottom, leaving a tiny crater from her inpact. She stared upat Naraku, thinking.
Mizuho asked Kagome, "Do you think we should clear away the smoke? I don't want it getting in anyone if we do it."

Sango and Inu continue to slash and cut at Naraku where Kagome's ofuda-covered arrows hit. Naraku tries to fight back, but keeps being cut down.

Kagome nodded. "You, Chrys, and Sango are protected. And I'm pretty safe, but the others are going to need all the help they can get. Clearing away the smoke is a really good idea."

*wind starts sucking into the wind tunnel*
"Fool monk!" *pulls out hive of Semyosho, and releases them*
"No!" *covers wind tunnel*
*Feels intense pain in hand*
"Aah! I think I sucked one up..."
*Falls to ground*

Sango sees Miroku fall.
"Houshi-sama!" she cries, abandoning Naraku to go after her beloved.
"s**t," says Inu as he keeps hacking at Naraku.
"With the poison of the saimyosho spreading through him, that monk won't last an hour," gloats Naraku.

Sango stops fighting to watch over the unconscious Miroku and is guarded by Kirara.
Inu and Naraku keep battling.

Chrys growled for Mizuho to come over, and then they interlocked arms in a strange way, each nodding to the other. They muttered quickly, each saying something in a different language but seeming to add on to the other's speech. Finally, they managed to unlock their arms and had their hands clasping each other's: one pair to the front, one pointing to the miasma. "Twin winds!" they shouted, jabbing their hands towards Naraku's miasma. A twisting vortex of a wind blew from them, sucking out demonic miasma as it went.
Afterwards, Chrys dragged her sprite friend down to Miroku and Sango. She said to the latter, "I cannot purify it, since I am a half-demon, but I can reduce the pain and poisoning to a tolerable level for a human. Mizuho cannot do much more either; the poisoning's much too strong." She tried to take Miroku's hand, but a purple zap pushed her back. She pushed hard against it, lavender magic glowing. Mizuho could see that she could be spared, and so went up to see if Kagome was doing alright.

(Is the purple shield from Naraku's shouki?)
"Dammit, his fever's rising," says Sango as she feels the houshi's hot brow.
"Kukukuku, the monk won't last an hour with my shouki in his system," gloats Naraku.
"Shut the hell up, Naraku!" roars Inu, taking another slash with Tessaiga.
