Hmm... this is a hard one... I think I'll just place the characters in order of preference.
1. Tamaki and the Twins = I just couldn't choose between the two (I'm counting the twins as one here), so they're stuck sharing the same postition. I'll start with Tamaki: I love him for his looks and personality. Although he can act really stupid sometimes, I believe that he has a good heart and only means well. I always love to see his reactions to pretty much everything around him mrgreen Now the twins: How can you not love the twincest? domokun I have to admit, even I'm all "Kyaaa!! heart " whenever I see those two play their part as hosts - well, not as excited as that, but you get what I mean xp And being the little devil type, I'm always curious to see what mischief they'll be getting up to.
2. Haruhi = I just love the fact that she's a commoner in a rich man's world. It's always interesting to see what will happen when a person is no longer in their comfort zone. But other than that, I also like how she's immune to the charms of her fellow hosts.
3. Hani = He's just a bundle of cuteness!! 4laugh But beneath all that, I believe that there's a not-so-childish side to him. I'd really like to see more Hani in the anime - get to know his character more 3nodding
4. Kyouya = It's hard for me to like this guy... but at the same time I do. That doesn't make sense does it? sweatdrop Anyway, I basically like him for his manipulative nature and his intelligence. I also think that he looks so much better without his glasses.
5. Mori = Just because I've placed him last, doesn't mean that I don't like him. Because I do. Even though he hardly says or does anything, I really enjoy seeing his interactions with Hani and Haruhi ^_^

I can't choose my top, top favourite character for I am torn between the beautiful Renge and sweet, ickle Kaoru.
Renge makes my heart quiver at her amazement *w* Her motorized lift never fails to make me laugh out loud. NEVER.
I love Kaoru more than I love Hikaru. My reason is a bit... lame. Kaoru just... his voice... everytime he speaks my heart EXPLODES with love for him! It's so sweet and soft and kind and gentle and beautiful~ AND OMG I can't tell you how many times I wanted to cry everytime I watch the ending of episode 5 gonk

He does have some lineage from Russia, although what it is exactly we don't know. In the manga his maid mentions a name but I can't remember it. *dies* But yes, he's not entirely Japanese, like Tamaki.

Er, off topic, but my guy friend is Russian (born there, raised in the U.S) and he towers over me. xDDD
I wonder if Nekozawa is as tall (or taller) as/than Tamaki.
Half-Asians are tall... O.o;

Mori is definately first in my book, but I've always been partial to the tall, silent types. (I even married one!) Second place is tied with Tamaki, Haruhi, the twins and Kyoya. Hunny is last. . . way too much like my kid brother for comfort!
