Desc leans back from Saliv. "Yer one ta speak snake. Yer still creepy as hell." He points his finger in the face of the naga, "Ya better not try an' eat me in my sleep. I swear I'll taint ya, or poison ya, er somethin'. Trus' me, in won't be good. Plus I don't think that mis'ter goody two shoes samurai over there will like murder."

Looks confused, then gets irritated.
"And why would I eat you, I have never eaten anything smaller than a person. Oh yeah so what if I'm creepy your SHORT AND HAIRY!"
Pulls the skin down under one eye and sticks his tounge out at the Nezumi.
"BAKA!!!"

Aodakemaru watched the two argue with growing annoyance. They had more important things they could be doing right now than acting so childish. "Enough already! We have something more important to worry about than who's whort or creepy or other such nonsense. Can we all please focus? Lives are at stake here, including ours if we're not careful!" He took a deep calming breath. It wasn't really in his nature to make an outburst like that, but this was an extrodinary circumstance.

His eye twitches from the Nezumis comment. And he hissess loudly, showing his poison dripping fangs.
"Try it Rat and I will eat you, we have better things to do than argue. But after this troublesome mission is done you wont be so lucky."
His eyes flash.

Yashamaru rolls his eyes in disgust, "Let us work together, you two can have at it after we take care of business." He then mutters under his breath, "Animals.."

"Desc, calm down." It seems that the situation wasn't diffused just yet. "You don't want to waste your strength over an argument before we have to face the demon, do you?" Aodakemaru folded his arms and scowled in thought. At this rate, Desc and Saliv were getting along like...well, a rat and a snake...
That was fine, though, they could fight all they want later, but for now they'd have to keep cool. "Saliv, would you like to go in first?" Maybe if they seperated for a bit it would give everyone more time to cool off?

Saliv looks at Aodakemaru. And backs down from hovoring over Desc.

Turns ans slithes into the temple quietly.

Desc snarls a little bit before whipping himself around and stomping toward the temple doors. He walks up to the doors and places a hand on each of the two big oak doors and attempts to shove them open and walk inside.

"Ah, sorry, it seems everyone's a bit on edge." He spoke to Yashamaru as he offered a nervous smile that quickly faded as he glanced back to the despoiled land near that altar and to the samurai and shamness before he followed Desc into the temple doors.

Yashamaru nods at Aodakemaru, "Let's hope they don't cause trouble for us later". He rubs his eyes and follows the others into the temple

You open the great doors to the temple. Inside the main ritual hall is large and airy; great windows at the top of the two-story room open onto fresh air, allowing light and wind to sweep through the chamber. Eight large pillars, carved with twisting dragons, hold the ceiling aloft in two rows down the center of the room, and a tremendous altar rests in the center of the chamber. Eight monks kneel in a circle around the altar, remaining absolutely silent and motionless. A set of double sliding-screens covers the center of the eastern wall, marking the door into the main body of the temple.
