i'm the only girl in the entire base line/low brass cry
there is one other brass player, but she plays frenh horn, and sits light years away >.<
i heart my trombone! ^^
i'm going to be the ruler over the entire base line/low brass section next year! i'm so exited, and kinda scared, i don't think some of the boys will listen to me....some feel that men are "superior", and i tend to be to submissive...*sighs* but i'm going to try!

The french horn line was mostly girls we had six horns. 4 girls, 2boys one of the boys was a smart-a** freshmen and i beat the crap out of him 1 time in practice, because he pissed me off really bad. My freshman year , this was when i played trumpet i was the only girl freshman that played trumpet and i was picked on non-stop just because i was a girl. i swiched to French Horn my sophmore year.

in middle school, i was the only boy in the clarinet section.. they were all girls. in the front row of band, there were flutes and clarinets, and i was also the only boy in the whole row, and felt like a loser. it was all girls, and then me on the end being the only guy

I have a guy-friend who played flute for three years and took the ridicuale that he got, but finally last, in 8th grade, he got fed up and asked the BD if he could switch to tenor sax. He said that he couldn't, but my friend just borrowed a sax from the high school, brought it to schhol and played it in the morning. He even rcorded his audition music for the high school on the tenor sax!! HaHa!! blaugh

im the only girl in the entire brass but now i think were getting a girl trombone ^_^ but knowing my luck it will be like last year where the high brass and low brass are seperate so ill still be the only girl also this year we got a new melo who is also a guy so im out numbered in my own section

I'm the only female in the saxophone section in our marching band...it kinda sucks sometimes, but those guys can be really great to be around other times.

this past year i was the only girl in the trumpet section...but I WAS THE FIRST!!! rofl

Wow we r finally goign to get to march! but I don't think any of the boys are going to march with us anymore! We r going to be the all girl trombone section! I think I might acctually miss them!!!! eek Band will never be the same without the perverted jokes and stuff! Oh well I'll live cuz everyone know GIRLS RULE!!!!!!! blaugh

we had a chick in the baritone (marching baritones) section once...
she could hold up the horn better than everybody there redface (there were nine of us...)

Ok, I have 19 people in my section. I am a alto sax section leader. My friend Cassie and I are the only girls in the section. i am going to have fun this year. sweatdrop lol jk

Its even weirder when your the only freshmen and girl in a section. well actualy there are two girls in the trombone section. but we were in dirfernt classes, last year when they found out anouther girl was in the section Ranchel was so happy-untill I blew my scale test and got landed in concert band xp
