Hello peoples! 3nodding I'm Riiyoko, soon to be 16 August 10th! *dances around in circles* I stumbled upon DK at my library here 2-3 years ago and have been in love with it ever since. sweatdrop Got a bit confused at the beginning since the first one I read was vol. 4, but it had the same affect nontheless mrgreen Hmm...and besides Rath, Rune, and the majority of the characters in DK that I heart , Kharl has got to be one of my favorites xd

Well, I did this once, but it was such a long time ago, I think I'll add on a bit. .__.;;

I'm White Phantom Seinaki, but you may call me Lynn. I'm going to College in...four days and I have all of the current english volumes and fifteen of the Japanese ones. I used volume 18 to teach myself some of the Katakana, starting with Kharl's name^ ^, and went with that for a few days before finally looking up an actual chart for it. I only had about three of the twenty-some symbols I'd attempted to translate wrong. I felt speshul. *-*

I dont' have the Japanese volumes from 21 and down so I can't check... >-> Damn.

*cough* So, hello. My pen-name’s Leeayre. The only job you will ever convince me is cooler than my being a Writing Tutor is that of Gaia Admin. I’m also a (joke) member of the WTCFD. And if you’ve actually been following the official DK thread in the forums, then you’ll know what I’m talking about. My favorite protagonist (no surprise) is Rath. But my all-time favorite antagonist—including every series I’ve ever read—the only antagonist I’ve ever liked this much—is Kharl. And my liking for these two characters is almost equal. Followed by Sinistora, Gil, and Bierrez. I’m shamed to admit I only found DK about 8 months ago. Even then, I almost passed over it because of the proportion-less cover pictures. If it weren’t that I decided a series with that many books must be worth something, I never would have picked up the first book, and I never would have gone crazy ordering the rest and accidentally skipping 3-8 and doing the whole horrified “RATH WANTS TO DIE?!!!” and I most certainly would never have fallen in love with Kharl and have read the series this many times. So, shy of books 15, 16, 18, and 21, I own volumes 1 through 25.

How did I get here? Funny you should ask… I write fanfiction, and I’ve finally been on ff.net long enough to be considered a moderately older user. People have finally started to come to me for help. It’s fun. But I was going around, sending random PMs to other DK authors in hopes of meeting someone willing to respond, and generally annoying everyone. Finally, I practically got ganged up on by three of them, demanding if I’d gone to Gaia. Well, what on Earth was Gaia? What was the point of one random Internet site? Three shocked and horrified faces later I was dragged kicking and screaming to the site, where they pointed out this lovely thing called a DK Guild… It was love. This is practically the only reason I’m here. To talk to you! So congratulations, you’ve now got your very own annoying, PM-writing, massively pestering person. What are you gonna do next?
