Something to Replace the word witch creates a hoocus-pocus image so i use Wiccan. I agree, it's also kind of a negative connotation. I like Wiccan.

I'm not a Wiccan, I am a Pagan. When asked about my faith I tend to say "Eclectic Pagan and witch". My religion is eclectic Pagan, for lack of a better term, but witch is an important part of my spirituality.
Generally I just say "Pagan".

I prefer the name witch because to me it just feels more comfortable to say. I don't care if other people thinks it's hocus pocus or stirring bubbling green goo inside a cauldron all night. To me it just feels right 3nodding

I prefer being called a witch for now. There are some things about Wicca that I don't fully agree with, so it feels uncomfortable to call myself Wiccan. I call myself Wiccan in front of others, however, because if I saw witch, they might think I'm evil. I live in that kind of town. xP

Truthfully, Wiccans and witchs are different. And just because you're a witch doesn't mean you are Wiccan. The whole innitiation thing. I am an aspiring witch, but I go by Pagan. I know my two currents goddesses, no I'm not being sexist. They are the only two that I feel very close with. I haven't gotten much from Osiris. I'm still searching.
