does anyone else in the IRR keep getting random emails from "recruiters" end up in your bulk mail or regular mail, I get one freak out for a couple of seconds thinking that I have been recalled then find out it's some artard trying to recruit me for the reserves...if I left the Army don't they think that I would have joined the reserves if I wanted to. eesh sweatdrop

Hi people! Army Reservist in Australia here. Love to chat, make new buddies in service overseas or locally. Have trained all around australia, spent month on US warship USS Boxer and will be deployed to Solomon Islands next year.
Drop by my profile to see some pix and say hi!

The Army doesn't quite want me. It saves me the trouble of getting the emails, though.
Hey, did you ever go to Speicher while you were deployed? I can't remember where Kalsu is. I'm quite sure a couple of people from my company was stationed there, though. We were everywhere.
I liked the fact that our company was so spread out. It was a blissful year with practically NO company formations. It was beautiful.

I mostly spent my time in the Al Iskandaryia area up on through TQ (Al Tiqatim...I think is how you spell it sweatdrop ) we had our squadron spread out too, we were originally schedualed to head into Muhamadiya but got changed to Kalsu in the end.

I've never been able to remember or pronounce TQ's full name. All I know is the Marines seem to all wind up in TQ at one point or another. I've never been there, though.
Were all of those places south of Bagdad? I'm not familiar with the south. Speicher has another name, but I can't remember what. The Air Force never called it Speicher. It's in Tikrit. FOB danger used to be in Tikrit, too.
