"Hell yeah!" Tsuki cheer when he saw his Pokemon get through the chimera beasts' defenses. His optimism didn't stay for too long, however, when the Pokemon got hop and sped off just as quickly as it had assaulted Coffee. The trainer grit his teeth and remembered that he had been falling behind already before this. Getting pushed any farther back potentially getting recaptured and that was NOT on the table. Right.
Not having any intention of wasting whatever Mega-Energy his Blastoise had remaining, Tsuki hopped on his Pokemon's shoulders and pointed ahead. "Do me a favor, turn around and get a Hydro Pump into a Rapid Spin ready! I'll guide you." Tsuki sad to Baja, who nodded with (potentially misplaced) faith in his trainer to not get them both killed. The Mega Blastoise turned over and readied to blast out a Hydro Pump from all of his metallic cannons on his trainer's orders.
"Now!" Tsuki yelled, grabbing tight around his Pokemon's shell for dear life before the water type tucked his limbs in and rocketed them forward with went into a spin. It was not the first time he had been atop the back of a Rapid Spinning Pokemon, but it certainly had been a minute. They skipped chaotically on Route 116 grass like a smooth stone on a lake once their spinning slowed, carving a path through fallen Electrodes and Magnemites. "Left, NO THE OTHER LEFT-!"
Rebounding off a tree like a pinball, the two slammed into the sides of a few pursuing SWIPE Agents before catching up with the others as Lykas prepared to use the Red Gem's destructive power.

Sol's swing of his arm gave Kess the perfect layup to grab him by it, flinging him straight at the metal pole intended for her. Wrapping around him instead as he made impact with it, the union would see the Ho-oh hybrid fall to his side in his new metal burrito, watching as Kess bolted off. "Ngh! I know it's not in their line of courtesy," he remarked, struggling for a second as he started rapidly ramping up his body heat. The rainstorm made it harder on him, but he'd pour everything he could around him in the name of heating his bindings. "But you think she'd have some."
"Sol! Hold on!" Cera shouted out as she approached, quick to start using Psychic to start unwrapping the pole. With Sol's heat gradually making the metal more molten and malleable, its structural integrity was faltering and making it easier to unwrap. Steam kept billowing as raindrops crashed down and evaporated in an instant, practically acting as a neon sign during the effort, one that Cera found herself giving up on as something crossed her mind. "Wait... where's Sub?" She'd look around as more SWIPE agents were drawing ever closer, sure she'd see him somewhere. But... she wouldn't.
Sol wouldn't get a glance or any further help as she suddenly took off towards the agents, being left to finish unwinding himself. "Cera, where're you- at least finish- ...hope you know what you're doing." Knowing he needed to get out and away, he'd have to take a little more time to keep superheating the pole and free himself. His own feathers would stand on end once he did as Kess prepared another Thunder, looking back and forth before running to try and catch up with the rest, come rain or sand. As he did, he'd also cross paths with Tristen briefly, almost certain where he was headed while he tried to get closer to the tunnel.
Back with Cera, she wasn't about to leave Sub behind. She couldn't leave him behind. The brief spikes of energy would lead her further into extremely dangerous territory, but her mind wouldn't register that Tristen or Aile were also going the same direction she was and would've provided better information. Instead, she'd rely on physical sight and a link with Sub that she could still feel, flinging herself ever forward. She'd arrive just after Tristen and Aile did, just in time for the orbs to be lobbed and trying to hold them back with Psychic. "Get the hell away from him!" She yelled out as the orbs still inched closer, trying to act as a shield long enough to force the Psychic energy outward and send them back. Regardless of any success or failure, some of the energy would find its way towards Type: Null, but seemingly do nothing beyond a minor feeling.
---
At the tunnel entrance, Amaranth would pant and give a sigh of relief that she and the others at the lead made it over. "We made it... thanks, Ether." She'd start to recall him before the ground started shaking for a moment, seeing a few rocks sliding down and picking up on something in the air that gave her an awful lot of unease with how fast she could see someone approach. At once, she'd recall Ether and rush inside on Swift's back, another ball on hand in an instant. "If that thing doesn't work," she remarked towards Lykas, making sure she didn't stay anywhere close towards the potential impact. "I think I can get something going with my Minior. Don't have a lot of time, though... and it'll probably cause a cave-in if that doesn't." She was willing to let Lykas cook for now, but only for a brief moment.

Giving a laugh as they continued on their headlong rush towards the tunnel, Reno would feel the magnetization beginning to wear off. Extending an arm, he would watch as Harleen plopped onto the limb after jumping off of her slowly more precarious perch. Looking ahead as the weather began to change from the sandstorm that had been encompassing them to a rainstorm, he watched as both Aile and the Steelix began to look backwards towards something. Jumping off before she started back, Reno would give a small wave. "Whatever it is, good luck. I'm going to keep this half of the race together." Reno said, cracking open the Pokeball for his Alolan Raichu again. Giving a small pop of the psychic force pushing him into the air, he would take off deeper into the rainstorm epicenter.
Coming up towards the cave entrance, it would be easy enough to see Freth and Blizz standing against Kess. But he could equally see the still shaking cave entrance that was on the verge of collapse and a few Snagems that needed help with getting into the tunnel. And, as much as it was appealing to attempt getting into a scrap with Kess alongside those two, it would be more beneficial to do the leaderly thing and get some of the others moving. Skating over with Nalu, he would quickly come to a stop beside Terashi and Ulla before extending a hand towards the blonde man. "Need a lift?" Reno offered, Nalu making a similar gesture towards Ulla for her to board the Raichu's tailboard.
As he did so, a trio of familiar faces would come rumbling into the scene with a very clear target waiting and available for them. And she was so conveniently focused on completely different targets. So while Beau was busy geeking out with his bird over the incredible explosion they had just caused and Leslie was busy making sure their way forward was clear, Aria was laser focused on Kess. Looking to her two Pokemon that were still out, an idea came to mind. Because while she might not be able to do a ton of direct damage, this would be sure to light up her life. "Sogetsu, throw Carbuncle towards the spiky chicken! Carbuncle, Power Gem her in the eyes!" Aria commanded.
The Pangoro would give a curt nod, wrapping a paw around the floating Carbink before immediately sending the Pokemon flying towards Kess and the two Articuno hybrids. Beginning to glow as she prepared for her moment, the Carbink would begin to unleash a focused strobe of light blasts at Kess' eyes as soon as she could identify where they were. hopefully it would give someone an opportunity to capitalize on for either escape or assault.

Espeon_Commander Crystal would peek around Darts’ shoulder to try and see what might have happened to WHITE after everything, noticing that the pink glow around her didn’t dissipate yet, and she felt grounded, like she couldn’t access that power that would let her leave. WHITE survived that, and enough to keep that dimensional lock on her. What in the Light did he do to her? “I…†Her ears would lay back against her head, as the rain began to fall on them. “Th-thank you,†she finally said, though her eyes wouldn’t leave the direction where WHITE was last seen. “Are you sure about this, though?†She didn’t see much of his capabilities, but the fact that he could just casually lock her down to one reality, and the strength he had in that throw, those alarm bells were ringing loudly. WHITE honestly scared her a bit, which wasn’t the easiest to do. Darts manages to make it into the tunnel alongside the rest of the group, setting Crystal down gingerly. Despite all of the differences between them, he couldn't help but grin at her comment. There was history between the pair, and even though they had been fighting lately he can't help but be himself. "Put it on my tab." Is the glib response to her thanks. He keeps a firm hand on her until he's sure she can put enough pressure to walk and leads her further into the tunnel, past Lykas who looked like they had an idea churning. Tsuki is just in front of them both, along with Keiko and Ter and the other members that have made their way into the tunnel. "Are you asking me if I'm sure about having Ogerpon handle Agent WHITE?" The thought seemed to have not cross the gambler's mind until Crystal asked, trying to be close enough to support the Solgaleo hybrid if needed as they go further in. The rest of the team hadn't spent the year with Ogerpon like he had, didn't know what that poor Pokemon had lived through already to be able to judge it's strength. After a couple seconds of pondering silence, "She's a warrior." He answers, simply. "When we originally came to HQ she was already battle tempered, maybe too much so. She didn't trust anyone, not even me, though maybe me more than most. Our trip to the doctor... let's say Doc Owl isn't looking forward to the next visit. But that's what happens when you try to bring a field general off the battlefield after years of warfare." Darts pauses again, as they pause near the first bend in the tunnel, turning back to where the rest of the Snagems are clustered. The other members of the Dragon Clan had gotten to see it on their last visit, that internal instinct that pushed the Masked Pokemon to dizzying heights in combat. The Giratina hybrid had experienced it himself first hand, only surviving by the skin of his teeth, truthfully. She was untrained, but growing more skillful by the second under his tutelage. "I'd be more worried if I was asking her to go to the grocery store to buy us food or something, that's something outside of her experience. Her life has been war." Requiem of Whyspers His goal: scatter any remaining SWIPE agents, cook any unlucky enough to be caught in the blast and sweep it upward to blast the stone above the tunnel entrance before it ended in an attempt to collapse it behind them all in one fell beam. Espeon_Commander The Iron Snake Pokémon would lower his jaw into the dirt as he came around, bringing up the earth he dug into as Kuat plowed forward, doing that to bring both Sub and Tristen(if he wanted) onto his head as well. As soon as the Pokémon saw the two go into his field of view, Kuat would lift his head back up, with Aile reaching out a hand to help them onto the center portion of the Mega Steelix’s head. “All aboard! Next stop, a collapsing tunnel entrance. Kick it!†Pushing himself as fast as he could, the Steelix would keep going back towards Rusturf Tunnel, bringing his head down to Bulldoze through anything, if something or someone wanted to get in their way. Reno Vantas Coming up towards the cave entrance, it would be easy enough to see Freth and Blizz standing against Kess. As Reno ushers Ter and Ulla into the tunnel, Lykas' first spark of energy hits the gem right around the same time a Mega Steelix Bulldozes its way into the cave, carrying any other quarry that had wanted to get onboard. Unfortunately for Lykas, the gem didn't need much prompting, emphasized by the fact that someone as untrained as Blake. Hall. Was able to utilize it. As soon as that first drip of energy hits The Red Gem, the beam erupts full force in an uncontrollable hosing down of pure concentrated fire energy. Lucky enough, it misses the incoming Steelix but it cleaves straight through the twice-weakened stone and supports around the cave entrance. There's some screams and curses from the outside as the beam manages to glancingly strike some of the oncoming strike force pursuing them, those closest to the cave maw itself. There's another more massive rumble and the mountain collapses in, the rocks burying the entrance in tons and tons of heavy granite stone. The team, similarly, was also split in twain now. There was the group outside who had chosen to stand and fight against Agent WHITE and Kess, without a handy exit to their backs anymore, and those inside Rusturf Tunnel without a way back to help their comrades. Stunned, Darts turns back from Crystal to look at Lykas, who is still holding The Red Gem outwards from himself, at what used to be a door. "What did you do?" He asks simply, not an ounce of accusation in his voice. It was more bemused shock setting in as he tried to get ahold of himself. Had they sealed their comrades off to die? Reno Vantas Looking to her two Pokemon that were still out, an idea came to mind. Blizzard120 “Great.†I sarcastically said. At this point, Kess probably had spotted Tristen as well and we needed to cover him at the very least. I would rush in, quickly giving a hard wave of an arm and a large icy spike column erupts from the ground near Kess, attempting to cut her off should she make a move. My Ancientpower attack at work. Though admittedly it had another purpose that I could hope work given our predicament. Freth would then reach over, her distinctive feathers lighting up as she grabbed a large boulder from a small rock formation due to us being close to the area of the rocky tunnels then gave it as hard of a toss she could. Not really expecting the large rock to hit her, but it was to at the very least keep Kess off Tristen’s case for the second. The Chilly Two's presumptions would be correct, as Kess had been heavily considering a beeline for Tristen but that was before she had the equivalent of an epilepsy grenade thrust into her face. She tries to put the arm with her Light Screen up to block what she thought was an attack, but to no avail as it was sensory based. "Awgh! What-" The Zapdos hybrid's squawk cuts off midway as the Ancientpower now blasts her full-on, Super-Effective as it sends her airborne, her eyes going wide as it catches her in the gut. Unfortunately for the mercenary this put her at a perfect angle for the rock to smash into her as well and send her back into the ground. She struggles to her feet, clutching the unlit pommel that served as her sword, agitatedly rubbing her eyes with the other hand as she wheezes for breath. For the first time so far, she was badly out positioned and on the backfoot but there was no telling how long that was bound to last. The Thunders didn't cost low energy, either. Similar to Blizzard's Sheer Cold it was one of her trump cards and continuing to use it had tired her some. There's a loud clap, many times louder than thunder as the tunnel behind them all collapses, after a jet of red-hot energy spews out from inside, striking some of the surrounding SWIPE forces. You know what they say. When it rains, it pours. Blizzard120 “Zebstrika! Wild Charge!†He shouted, quickly standing up and leaping off his Zebstrika. The Zebstrika’s entire body would light up with electricity and the electric Pokémon made the hard, reckless assault towards the Type:Null poised to Tri Attack Sub. Tristen would quickly land, and try as he might to land feet first, he was going too fast and the ground too slick to stick the landing, leaving Sub to witness Tristen taking a hard tumble and skidding on the ground a short bit. Tristen would push himself up, wincing a bit after hurting himself from such a heroic, albeit crazy stunt, but if he could make it out of this, it’d be worth it. Ogerpon had originally taken a step back to admire its handiwork, switching from the Hearthflame mask to the Teal to try and avoid the biting sting of the rain as it came down now in earnest. But once WHITE had gotten away, however temporarily, the former Oni had to find a new target. And if she couldn't strike the monster itself, she would take the next best thing, his Pokemon. Bounding forwards with large strides of its long legs, the Legendary Pokemon came in right behind Tristen, its club whirling. Rather than attack, the Grass-type had a different tactic in mind. The whirling and flashy display of aggressiveness was an attempt to distract Type: Null and help Tristen close the gap, as she saw the boy's brave charge in her periphery. "Po pyon!" She shouts defiantly, rotating the club from hand to hand in a dizzying display of weapon control. I'm the one you want, brute! Follow Me!

Just after Darts entere Rusturf Tunnel, Lykas felt it. The energy he'd tried to used to spark the Red Gem into motion did far more than he had expected. The beam of energy that erupted from it not only cut through a swathe through the SWIPE agents in pursuit but it also knocked him off his feet. He hadn't expected the amount of pure force coming off it to be so potent and so had failed to properly brace himself for it. "Gah!" Gasping as the force of the attack threw him off the ground, he'd lose control of the beam for a moment, striking not just the tunnel entrance but the walls around it, collapsing it all in almost immediately. He'd find himself slammed into the wall behind him, nearly knocked out by the impact at first but quickly managing to recover his wits and seeing the devastating result of his poorly-planned attemp. "Oh Gods..." He muttered, scrambling to his feet and rushing toward the collapsed mouth of the cave, slamming liquid fists against it as he tested how likely he was to be able to squeeze through the rubble with Acid Armor. "No... No... NO!" He screamed louder with every strike finding that he could barely get between the rocks that had come down and what he could managed to get through wasn't enough.
"Th stupid rock wasn't supposed to go off like that!" He shouted, shoving the Red Gem back into his bag and beginning to try and make a large enough opening to get through. There were people still out there that wouldn't be able to get away now thanks to him and his stupid, impulsive decision! "I was trying to use the Red Gem to collapse the tunnel but it wasn't supposed to go off that fast... I wanted to wait until everyone was inside and cut off SWIPE at the last second to give us time to get away..." He responded to Darts' question, his ponytail splitting apart as he tried to move chunks of rock. Unfortunately for him, six extra limbs didn't help when they weren't any stronger than the main two. He might need convincing to stop this and continue the escape but at the same time, this might have given the team time to actually stop and catch their breath as well as time to make a plan moving forward, depending on how likely it was for SWIPE agents to be waiting for them on the other side.
Odd paused, momentarily stunned by Lykas' panicked reaction to the gem's premature ejection. He'd see Lykas lose his composure over the safety of team members before but it always got to him. The hybrid was generally far more prepared for the unexpected and had faith in their friends and allies. This wasn't a typical situation, though, he had to admit. He hadn't had any fired at him but he had noticed the hybrids, especially the more infamous ones, had more collars being fired at them and those things were a real threat. "Lykas... I know you don't want to... but we have to have faith in them to find a way out of this..." The Channeler told his husband as he approached from behind him. "You've got to remember this isn't the first time we've had the unexpected happen to us..."
"I know!" Lykas snapped. "But this is also not like any of those other times. We didn't have people hunting us down like wild animals then. We didn't have one of our own already taken out by those same people, then." The hybrid retorted, struggling with yet another chunk of stone too large for him to move.
"I know." Odd replied quietly. "But Blizzard, Freth and Cera are out there with Sub and so is Tristen, I think." He told the hybrid, gently placing a hand on his back. "The four of them will get Sub out of trouble and he'll be able to figure out a way to get them to Trainer Hill if none of them can, I'm sure of it." He assured. "The rest of us need to keep going for now and believe in their ability to adapt. If we stop for too long and get ourselves caught again then this whole thing was pointless."
Lykas struggled for a few seconds longer, struggling internally for a moment. He wanted to argue. He wanted to fight. He wanted people to heap blame on him for splitting the party like this. But he also knew he'd just gone through this same argument not long ago over the kids. What would be the point in repeating that here? "Fine!." He agreed. "Just... Someone please punch me in the face when we're safe and say you hate me for being such an idiot or something....ok?" He requested of the Channeler as he released the large chunk of rock he'd been attempting to manhandle away from the cave's entrance. "So...What are the chances the other end of this cave isn't going to be crawling with SWIPE agents waiting for us?"
"Good question..." Odd asked, looking around to see who all had made it inside before the Gem had gone off unexpectedly fast. "Maybe we should come out the other side guns blazing just for the sake of being safe?" He suggested.

Monique was spending her time trying to tame the Tauros. WHITE had ignored her in favor of connecting Crystal to the Ultra Space equivalent of a ground wire. She was far enough at the rear that other attempts to threaten Snagems had been exhausted. And she was still behind the sandstorm that some or other team member had summoned at the front of the convoy.
It was an oddly mundane if extraordinary encounter. The Tauros was a swift mount with handy built-in water cannons. It was also tempestuous, at times barely showing any signs it had been tamed. Is this just normal or does it know I'm not its normal rider?
The sandstorm was degrading visibility on the route as the grassy areas turned into rocky outcroppings of sage-colored stone. Monique could barely keep her eyes open as she was buffeted with sand and small pebbles. Eventually, it all rebounded. Its visibility diminished, Tauros clipped a tree. That threw Monique off the saddle, leaving her stuck on the dirt. Tauros looked around, clearly a little dazed. A lot had happened, and the Fighting- and Water-type's brain was trying to cope. Monique got up, shaking the dirt off her outfit. Her Illusion had faded because of the hit.
Squinting to avoid damage to her eyes, the Sheriff of New Po had scarcely gotten back on Tauros, intending to charge toward the tunnel, when a massive red flash came from the direction of the passage. A thunderous roar and a rising cloud of dust confirmed the worst news. The tunnel entrance had collapsed.
There were one or two other people in this area, though it was a bit hard to see them as the dust cloud from the tunnel collapse blocked her view.
The tunnel was closed. She'd been told not to fly, and though she hadn't yet met one Kess, she had no intention of tempting fate and disregarding Sub's earlier instructions unless it was absolutely necessary. And it felt like that moment might be coming.
Cut off from most of the other Snagems, she began asking herself questions about her new exotic ride from Rent-a-Tauros. Did it come with all-hoof drive? Could it cross the mountain range over the top and then come down on the Verdanturf side? And what hazards still lay on this side of the severed link?

Just as the Tri Attack orbs were launched Sub dropped to the ground and covered his head, in the hope of avoiding them hitting any vital. However a second went by and he felt nothing, in that moment certain of the inevitable. Looking up he saw the three orbs struggling to proceed forward, having made it about half way towards him. Looking from the Tri Attack to behind him he saw Cera, the Mew giving it her all to telekinetically hold them back. Before he could react to that a 'bolt of lightning' cracked alongside her and him and eventually slamming into Type: Null, said 'bolt of lightning' revealing itself to be Zebstrika in that moment as both four legged Pokemon were sent tumbling from the sheer force and speed of the attack. "Cera! Tristen!" Sub called out to his teammates, happy to see them for a brief moment before the reality of the danger they were all in bubbled back up to the surface.
"Tristen! Are you okay!?" Sub shouted as he hobbled up to the boy as fast as he could. It was probably unwise to take his eyes off their foe in this moment however WHITE himself wasn't too focused on them as he reached a hand out towards his prone Pokemon, Type: Null seemingly responding to his gesture as it got back on its feet without so much as a struggle. While it clearly suffered a fair bit of physically damage mentally it didn't appear bothered. Seeing this he turned his focus back to Tristen. "We have to-...go?" He said, befuddled as Aile and her Mega Steelix just suddenly pulled up, smacking the Type: Null away once again while WHITE himself leaped high into the air to avoid the attack. If this were baseball that was definitely a home run on Type: Null.
"Cera! Now!" Sub shouted at her, pointing at the airborne WHITE. She still had control of those Tri Attack orbs, and now without Type: Null she had could manipulate them with ease. Whatever she did didn't matter to Sub so long as she attacked WHITE, provided a distraction as he helped Tristen up and they both hobbled onto Aile's giant iron snake, the rain and wet muddy ground not making that easy.
When Cera threw the Tri Attack back the orbs would fly for WHITE but at the last moment WHITE would disappear and in his place was Type: Null, the Pokemon avoiding the Tri Attack thanks to its small size and due to it was now actively jettisoning itself towards Mega Steelix, its original inertia sustained. As it closed in on the snake it would cloak one of its claws in Dark energy, originally creating a small claw construct around it that would soon explode into quadruple its size, now as big as itself. As it landed next to Kuat it would rack the claw against the Mega Pokemon's body and deliver a powerful Payback attack, he construct shattering in the attack.
Upon landing the Type: Null wouldn't forget about Cera as it promptly unleashed an entire meteor shower's worth of Swift at the Mew, pelleting her with a machine gun volley of stars. "Cera!" Sub shouted as he watched the Mew get attacked mercilessly. "We can't waste time fighting! Tristen!" He said, turning to the boy. "Get that thing off...Cera? Huh?" Sub would notice that Type: Null would cease its assault on Cera completely on its own as it turned to face something else behind them. Turning around he saw exactly what Type: Null was focused on, the Ogre of Oni Mountain, Ogerpon. Enthralled by the Pokemon's Follow Me Type: Null decided to turn its Gatling gun Swift on the Ogerpon this time, unleashing a hellish amount of Swift stars at the other opposing Legendary Pokemon. "That works too." He said, taking a sigh of relief. "Aile, is Kuat okay? If so we need to get moving. Cera, you okay over there? We need to go before-...WHITE."
As Sub said that the monster of a man he just mentioned was stepping back up to the 'battlefield', the rain parting for him. Before Sub didn't notice it but the rain wasn't actually touching him, it got as close as an inch away from any part of his body and sort of just slid off something invisible. What on Earth was that? Channeling? It didn't apply to his Type: Null as far as he could tell. Shaking off those questions he focused on the important things, the sirens were getting closer and now Sub could see the flashing red and blue lights beyond WHITE, flickering in the rain. WHITE would raise his hand and a faint white glow would surround it, the same white glow surrounding Type: Null. As this glow appeared around Type: Null its Swift stars got bigger and bigger while their numbers stayed the same. Where before it was like getting pelted with golf balls it was now like softballs. "How...it just keeps coming..." Sub muttered to himself, in awe of their combined power. All this attacks and they show no signs of fatigue.

Similar to Blizzard's Sheer Cold it was one of her trump cards and continuing to use it had tired her some. I went wide eyed from the surprise Carbink that came from effectively nowhere. I looked back, seeing Aria show up then looked back towards Kess as she was caught out on the backfoot, taking one attack right after the next between my Ancientpower attack and the large telekinetically thrown rock. “Blizzard!†Freth shouted out. “Yea, on it!†I said, rushing in. We had to keep her on the backfoot if nothing else. She was severely pressured and we needed to finally put the stake in her to end this fight. I quickly rushed going in first, full on fisticuffs before she would try to get her composure back. Punches and kicks would fly right at her at a rapid rate, and unlike Kess, in spite of the damage I took, I still had plenty of energy to use. Freth would alternate out with me. Trying to keep the woman off balance. The team work of Freth and I on full display. Kess would show that if I was troublesome alone, the two of us was an outright force to deal with. The coordination between the two of us bringing our strikes down on her, the fierce speed and intensity of the attacks, was a force to be reckoned with. In all the weaving about, attacking in, trying to dodge and parry otherwise, we both knew that this wasn’t enough. We needed a finishing blow. After a brief exchange with Kess, I would dart out of the way once more for Freth to come in once again. As she went and made her exchanges with the Zapdos hybrid, I quickly charged an Ice Beam in my two hands. Freth quickly glanced back and then darted out with Agility herself. At that point, I fired the chilling beam towards the Zapdos hybrid. Freth would appear a short distance away, lining the Zapdos hybrid up then went for it. Her eyes started to glow a fierce neon violet then she started to fire off her own Freezing Glare to try to lock her down. SubonicXP As Sub said that the monster of a man he just mentioned was stepping back up to the 'battlefield', the rain parting for him. Meanwhile, Tristen straightened himself up. “I’m fine, I’m fine!†Tristen said. It was going to take more than a tumble to keep him down. Though, it still did hurt, admittedly. Adrenaline was a hell of a thing. Zebstrika, who struck the odd Pokémon, was wincing himself after dealing a fierce hit with his Wild Charge attack, but steeled itself as the zebra grinded his hooves in the dirt and sparked some electricity in its jagged mane. Tristen looked back, seeing Ogerpon start getting the attention of the Type: Null. This was good, this made things a lot easier to neutralize that Pokémon. But then a word of fear came out of Sub. Tristen looked back, seeing Agent WHITE start making his way towards the group…this large and imposing man, with a strut that didn’t seem to have any hint of fear. It was enough to intimidate Tristen a little bit, not really sure what this man’s story was all about. Tristen instantly then started to realize the rain wasn’t necessarily coming down on them anymore, although it was still raining. It could easily be channeling, but what about it being a hybrid? The only thing that could stop the rain like that was a few abilities, like Cloud Nine. But there were very few Pokémon, never mind hybrids, that could actually do that. Never mind Air Lock, which was exclusively to the legendary Rayquaza, the mighty dragon that quelled Groudon and Kyogre. But none of that seemed to fit that bill. Following that, it seemed like in that instant, he empowered the Type: Null, its Swift attack even more potent, which made no sense to the likes of Tristen. This continued to seem like a hybrid than channeler than anything, but for the life of him he couldn’t think of what WHITE could be, not with abilities like that. Tristen had the realization that with such limited time, there was something that needed to be done. WHITE needed to be at least neutralized and maybe…just maybe…figure out what the story of this Pokémon and his trainer is. It was time to get a hair bit more crazy… “Zebstrika! Use Ion Deluge!†Tristen shouted. Zebstrika then wailed out, sending out a harsh flood of electricity which started to spread across the field. Sparks started to scatter across the field, everything would start feeling like it tingled a bit, similarly to if a Pokémon went out to put out an Electric Terrain. Tristen, noting that WHITE was aiding Type: Null in some fashion, figured to try to try to take him out. He didn’t think a Thunder Wave was going to subdue this guy, he needed something extremely potent, and with him already having to take up a bunch of electricity throughout this whole attempted escape, between Kess and his Zebstrika discharging electricity while on his back, there was a lot he wanted, if not outright needed to discharge for his own sake. Even so, he needed to make the attack count. As the flurry of stars started to get unleashed, the star shower started to convert from its normal typing to starting to spark full of electricity. And then suddenly, was diverted. “That’s right…hit me.†Tristen said with gritted teeth. Each of the stars would start getting absorbed by Tristen, and like that he could feel it. He was once again getting filled to capacity with electricity. Though this time, there wasn’t really any fear. There was intent behind everything. And his intent was the ginormous trainer. “Now lets see you take this…no where to run…†He severely sparked up, perhaps the most he has in some time, perhaps the most dangerous to be near the Manetric hybrid in some time. With a furious shout, the massive build-up of electricity would be unleashed to Agent WHITE. It was time to see what this guy was made of.

Cera had been focused on keeping the orbs back when she finally picked up on Tristen being on the ground like he was, only to see Type: Null get back to its feet with ease. Its smoothness and ease would be met by being slapped out of the way by Aile's Mega Steelix, and she saw WHITE jump out of the way. The orbs that had been still trying to press through had stopped by now, floating around her without their attacker's influence on them. "I've got it! Here, they're yours!" She yelled out as she sent the orbs back with her Psychic discharge, poised to send them right at WHITE and blast him out of the air. The orbs would come together on a single point to converge and explode, and she was sure this would be just the thing to buy enough time to stop the fight and run. But, that was when WHITE disappeared, his place swapped with Type: Null and weaving through the orbs instead. Watching as they exploded harmlessly, she'd see it attack Kuat and reached a hand out. Throughout all of this, she still couldn't sense anything WHITE was doing, more and more unsure what the hell they were dealing with by the second. "How... Aile, brace yourself!"Without a way to get a read on Null or WHITE, she couldn't prepare for the sudden turnaround after Type: Null landed or the giant crowd of stars conjured and swirling around it. "W-wha...?" Was all she'd get out before they converged on her like a meteor storm, finding no escape from them when she threw herself to the ground and curled up to defend herself, the Beast Ball on her falling to the ground in her panicked move. Occasional screams came as they continued, she couldn't afford to move or else she'd make the situation worse. But after a few agonizingly long seconds, they'd stop and she slowly uncurled, already looking pretty beaten up from the assault. She hadn't been able to tell if anyone else arrived, looking around and wondering what made Type: Null stop. An answer came when she noticed the odd Pokemon that was with Darts back in Boyleland, panting and taking a second's reprieve to get off the ground. And whatever it was, the attacks had been drawn to her instead. "I-I'm... fine... but-" She wanted to say how the new target needed to have safety from Type: Null now, but the flashing lights and sirens were getting close. "We can't keep this up... Sub, all of you, run! I'll deal with these two!"--- Amaranth and Swift were quick to move more out of the way when the Red Gem's power poured out and around like an unattended fire hose, watching as Lykas fell over and doing the exact thing she feared: the entry into Rusturf Tunnel had caved in, and anyone that wasn't already inside were sitting ducks for SWIPE to collect with ease. But much as Lykas and Odd went on for a bit and the former was requesting to be punched in the face later, the woman would give a light sigh before getting off her Dodrio and stepping over to the rocks now sealing them on this side of the tunnel. "...I don't know, but you all run ahead and make sure there isn't," she commented, before holding out the ball with her Minior inside. "It won't be much safer, but an Explosion should blow those rocks away at least. Really wishing that hammer wasn't taken now... but we can't just leave them all behind! Where else are they going to go?" --- Back outside, Sol would catch up to the others near the tunnel in time to see a beam erupt from inside it and rocks falling in in instant to block it off from entry. "No escape route now..." he remarked, looking around. Kess was still very much an issue, nevermind the rest of SWIPE. But where were they going to go now, unless someone had a way to rush through the rocks? Silently cursing to himself, he'd take advantage of the rain to conjure a Weather Ball into his hand, water wisping around it before hurling it towards Kess' feet while Blizzard's Ice Beam was en route. "Also if a proper fight's off the table, then how's about you sit down and give this one a raincheck?"

Atlantis_Darts "I'd be more worried if I was asking her to go to the grocery store to buy us food or something, that's something outside of her experience. Her life has been war." Crystal rolled her eyes at Darts’ response to the thanks, but nothing more. Maybe the faintest, briefest hint of a smile. That sort of response should have been expected, honestly. The more things change and all that. Once they were in decently, she would pause as Darts explained what he thought she was asking, sliding her hands down her right leg, trying to feel for something through her long skirt. Once she found it, she would close her eyes and focus, the blue lines that denoted her eyes glowing brighter for a second. “Light,†she muttered, ears flicking a couple times as they stopped, with Crystal standing up straight once more to put weight on her right leg again. Still hurt and felt somewhat awkward, but not like before. She could move better without much of a limp now. “Well. That’s… good, though honestly rather sad. No one should have to have a life of only war.†The galactic hybrid frowned, shaking her head. “That’s not what I was asking, though. I meant to come after and help me.†The intergalactic catwoman would pinch the bridge of her nose and let out a huge sigh. “I was already planning on heeding Sub’s warning anyways, but I can’t even access Sunsteel Strike now. WHITE’s locked me out of it somehow. Which, apparently, bled over to my light platforms. Not how I would have liked to make that realization. But I’m locked down, and that scares me that one person is able to do that. And I don’t know…†She trailed off, her words deciding then and there to get stuck in her mouth, though the tunnel entrance coming down would perk up her ears briefly and divert her attention. “Oh. Oh boy.†Crystal’s ears drooped slightly, worried now about their comrades on the other side of the tunnel. Aile and Kuat would flinch slightly when they saw the fire beam come out, with the woman looking bewildered as memories of nearly becoming fried human back at the volcano in Boyleland came back to the surface. That wasn’t pleasant, and she was glad that the beam wasn’t aimed in her direction. But the tunnel collapsing soon after… That wasn’t good. They were cut off from their allies, and it would probably take too long for Kuat to burrow through, not to mention that doing that would give SWIPE easier access to catch up to them. No, probably better to find a different route. As soon as the others had a moment- The Mega Steelix would get rocked as Type: Null rushed in with its Payback, Aile gripping onto the Iron Snake with her left hand as he steadied back out. He was about to swing back for another attack when his trainer would tap his head a couple times. “Kuat, stop! We need to get out of here, we can’t just keep fighting back!†Aile would take a quick look over the Mega Steelix’s body, noting that while there was some indentation, maybe a fractured spike crystal, nothing seemed to be able to penetrate the steel. Yet. “We’re good, Sub. We- oh, what the nine blazes.†She, too, would watch as WHITE just casually strode through the rain, not even getting a drop on him. Casually. As you do. “This. Is just insanity. Kuat.†Aile turned her attention back to the Mega Steelix, who seemed to be itching to battle some more. “While we still have Magnet Rise, north, now. I don’t think we have time to dig through all the rocks at the tunnel entrance, judging by the pretty blue lights ahead of us. Let’s go now!†Kuat’s eyes would look up toward his trainer for a moment, before snorting. “Lix.†He didn't like it, just leaving a fight. However, his trainer probably had a point, judging by how these two just took all of these attacks and kept getting up. This was starting to feel like a battle of attrition and they were winning so far. Turning in the direction Aile ordered, Kuat would begin to take off from the fight, albeit somewhat begrudgingly. Aile would look back as Kuat started, frowning at Cera staying behind. “Cera, come on! What’s the point of coming back to help you all out if someone else hangs back again? Lets go!â€

Having Reno pull up and offer to help wasn't something I expected. Part of me wanted to suspect he was up to something, but honestly, my beef with him started over something that happened before he became one of the leaders of the team. Maybe it was time to let go of it and be mature about the situation. Before I could actually accept his help, my body reacted badly to what almost felt like an earthquake. It didn't take me long to figure out that the tunnel had collapsed behind us. I could feel Keiko's desire to help Lykas clear the path, but I put a hand on her shoulder, stopping her in her tracks. "Don't. Odd's right, the other's will find a way. We need to keep going." I told her. I then accepted Reno's help which surprised her, but she agreed that standing around wasn't smart.
~*~
"...am I being ignored?" Absinthe asked as WHITE and his Type:Null chose to focus on Sub. Dismounting her Bewear, she patted the bear-like Pokemon on the shoulder. "Why don't you show him how we feel about that," she suggested. All too happy to lunge into battle, Fluffy rushed at Type: Null with a Brutal Swing, determined to catch its attention, not to mention deal some damage

Having managed to drag Ter and Ulla into the cavern from their position just outside of it, Reno would gently let Ter off of his back as he looked around to assess the situation. It looked like Darts and Crystal had been the last ones to make it through, right on the heels of Leslie's Onix bus. And while there was certainly some more grace that could have been attempted on a plan to haphazardly use something they had no idea on how to control, throwing that particular stone from his glass house seemed a little foolish for him. But he could already see things beginning to fray as panic about their exit, panic about somehow cracking open the entrance that they had just spent that time collapsing, and general confusion on what exactly to do next.
It was slowly becoming time for him to actually assert some authority in this situation.
Marching over to Amaranth, he would wrap his right hand around her shoulder and spin her to face down the tunnel and towards him. "I get the instinct, trust me. But attempting to break down the barricade that we just set up isn't doing effective work. Especially when your efforts might be just as likely to bring more of the tunnel down on our heads." Moving his hand from her shoulder onto the Pokeball for her Minior, he would try to get her moving along towards the rest of the group. "The others out there should be able to manage. Cutting north through the forests and hitting the Meteor Falls area might not be the fastest route for the entire team, but with who I know is out there it should be fine. And if it isn't, then I guess Sub will have to actually use that trump card he has squirreled away on him."
Turning to the rest of the gathered Snagems, Reno would raise his voice so that they would all tu8rn towards him. "Alright! No use waiting! Staying still just lets SWIPE catch up to us! Now, we can exit the other end of this tunnel normally, but I expect that SWIPE will be preparing for that so we are going to be trying to see if we can find any other exits." Scanning over the Snagems inside the cave to assess what options they might have, his eyes would focus in on one of their largest members. "Hey, Deo. Those Luxray eyes can go full x-ray, right? Let's see if we can spot any side tunnels that might get us out of here somewhere else." Tapping his chin as he thought it through, Reno would ask out loud, "But how do we narrow down where to look? can't just slow walk our way through staring at the walls the whole way...."
Across the cavern, Aria would be slightly sidetracked as she stared at the local Pokemon of the Tunnel. The singular species she could see, Whismur scattered along the length that she could observe. And After getting Vibrato and Billy, it just seemed....like destiny, being here right next to another sound Pokemon. And then she heard the ask for figuring out where to look. And the seeds of an idea began to grow within her head. Returning her Pangoro and Carbink, she would open up a third Pokeball and look towards her Noivern. Pointing towards the nearest Whismur, she said, "Alright, Vibrato. Fire off a Boomburst at that Whismur there."
The move would likely be slight overkill against the little Pokemon, but that wasn't point.....okay, it wasn't the whole point. Because alongside making sure the little guy would be weak enough for her Luxury Ball to work, she wanted the loud echoing noise to blast down the tunnel. She was going to use the Boomburst for a quick blast of sonar. And if the Whismur responded like she was expecting them to, with their loud cries, it would make sure that her Noivern and herself would be able to get a much clearer picture of things. And hopefully get those images a few times just to make sure that they could continue their advance at a good pace.

Brian and company all felt the ground shaking from the Mega-Evolution induced Earthquake. Knowing what that was likely to mean, Brian nudged his Rapidash just a little faster, Rachel doing the same with Clint. They could see the tunnel entrance starting to crumble with the force of the attack, and Brian ran in, dismounting the Rapidash and throwing a Snag ball at it to capture it in his name. Rachel barely managed to get through before the tunnel collapsed, and she was quick to recall both Clint and Sonic, not wanting either to be caught in the pile of rocks now blocking the entrance. Brian was breathing heavily, looking around to see if they were all there, and immediately, he noticed that he didn't see Amber or Sub anywhere. "Wait, where's Sub and the others?" he asked. "Did they get trapped outside the tunnel?"
Amber was running for the tunnel as fast as she could, but with her being on foot, she was far slower than her teammates that were riding on Pokemon. She would have called to one of them to give her a ride, but by the time she thought to do this, most were in the tunnel and the entrance collapsed. She skidded to a stop outside the blocked entrance, feeling to see if there were any weaknesses, but finding none. Cursing silently, she turned to see a few of her teammates fighting WHITE and his Type: Null. Oh, that wasn't going to end well. If those two abominations were as strong as she thought, no one was coming out of this without some kind of injury. While she normally would have helped out, there were already four people there trying to fight, and she felt she would only be in the way. She could see Aile and her Mega Steelix making their way north, and she decided the best course of action would be to follow them.

Ulla and Ter were dragged into the cavern as the entry was soon blocked off from the ruble. The Fairy Child sighed of relief as she looked at the group that was here. Barely half of the team was here in the tunnel. "As much as I want to go back...we have to keep going. Type : Null and WHITE is out there. We have to trust the others and pray we all meet up again." She said as she recalled her partner Togekiss back into their Pokeball for now. Ulla then looked over at Ter and Keiko, seeing how Ter was still critically hurt from the Thunder following the fall earlier.
Ulla walked over to them as she showed some concern. "Papa...You're really hurt." She said as almost by instinct. Formed a small bubble in her hand as it slowly expanded, as it made it's way towards Ter. The bubble then consumed Ter as it slowly started to heal his wounds. "Come on Papa...My sisters need their father strong. So take it easy for now. Leave the battling and protecting to Mama and I." She said with a smile as she made the now bubbled Ter float a bit off the ground. While the other were coming up with a plan, she noticed what Aria was doing as she bubbled Keiko as well to protect her ears. She did the same thing for everyone else that was in the tunnel. Didn't need anyone to go deaf in a crucial moment.

“ARGH!†Cried Deo when his ears became loaded with the sounds of those loud pokemon getting riled up. He was able to hear the command to look for an exit with his X-ray vision, and thus he began. His hair frizzed up and he was holding his ears due to the noise. He found that the rocks were harder to see through than most. Some were easily see through, but he also found signatures of other pokemon.
“If you can hear me, I spot some areas where the rocks are less thicker than others, and there are pokemon behind them.†Deo would say nearly in a yell, but not quite. He would begin scoping more of the area, finding some loose stones, a rare candy in an inaccessible area, and alot of whismur. He would go on to say “Other than a path that might end up in Arceus knows where, Not much to be seen here.â€
‘Gee, no wonder I would have nightmares about getting lost in Mount Cornett’ Deo would think to himself, as he noticed his cyclizar unphased in all this noise. Actually, it would be bobbing its head to the noise. ‘Seems like someone likes loud’ he would think to himself. ‘I just hope that Reno and I find the exit to somewhere other than the town, it would be disastrous to find ourselves back on the main path and hit another patrol, my head is reeling from that last reflect.’
